Hello, my name is Denise. I am a 79-year-old woman, and I have been looking for a long-term property for over a year. Due to my age, moving home is particularly tricky, so I am looking for somewhere stable with the prospect of being long-term.

I enjoy reading novels, and spending time in the fresh air in the garden or on the patio.

I am positive, with a calm nature and would say I’m quiet - but fun! Want to live in a happy relaxed atmosphere and enjoy life.

I was previously housed in an over 70s villa, but they unfortunately closed this down and I have not been able to find any permanent housing since. My dog Possum and I are currently staying with friends in an overcrowded house, and I need to leave so the family have their space back. I have some health issues so would like to remain close to my usual hospitals, and the Tweed area is perfect. It is also vital the home is easy access with no stairs due to my mobility.

My dog Possum is 14 years old, white maltese small dog, fully house trained and fully vaccinated. Friendly with a good calm nature.

I prefer to keep the house tidy and organised, because I am very house proud.

I have character references from previous owners where I have previously lived on my own.

I have had long term rentals in the past - 8 years, 25 years and 10 years. So I am a very stable person.

I am financially responsible with my commitments.

In the past year I have been renting in a high rise in Coolangatta with private rentals in that building on a temporary basis.

I would like to live with someone of a similar age- I hope we would enjoy each other’s company as well as enjoying quiet time alone.

I do smoke (outside only), don’t drink but don’t mind people who do 😊
