Hello,

My name is Helen, and I am reaching out in the hope that you may be able to assist my daughter Lana and me in finding a suitable rental property in the Wollongong/Illawarra area.

We are currently in temporary accommodation and, unfortunately, our timeframe for securing a permanent home has become quite pressing. We are therefore hoping to find somewhere suitable as soon as possible, ideally a property we can settle into as a longer-term home.

Despite the urgency of our situation, we are not looking to compromise on being responsible and respectful tenants. I have been employed for over two years in regular full-time hours as a receptionist and head housekeeper at a motel, and I also have additional income through Airbnb cleaning and online work. Lana has recently commenced a full-time Early Childhood Traineeship and has a stable income of her own.

We are a quiet mother-and-daughter household. We both work, live a fairly low-key lifestyle and take considerable pride in keeping our home clean, tidy and well cared for. We are looking for a 2–3 bedroom property, ideally with a garage or secure storage, as we have belongings that need to be accommodated. We also have one older, quiet and fully litter-trained indoor cat.

We have our documentation and references available and are in a position to move quickly for the right property. We would be extremely grateful if you could keep us in mind for anything suitable that is currently available or coming up shortly, including properties that may not yet have been advertised.

We understand how competitive the rental market is and appreciate your consideration. We are simply hoping to find a safe, stable home where we can settle in and move forward.
