Dear landlord/Housing Agent:
Greetings!
My name is Oliver and I am about to rent the property you have posted. After carefully browsing through the list information, I have developed a strong interest in your apartment and think it fits my living needs very well.
I am an international student from China, majoring in Business Information Systems. I plan to come to The University of Queensland to take a language course in October. My parents can provide me with a monthly living allowance of 3,000 Australian dollars, and I can afford a weekly rent ranging from 300 to 500 Australian dollars.
My lease term will start on October 1st, 2025 and end at the end of March 2026. There is also a possibility of renewal, as I will graduate at the end of 2027. I have already viewed this property, and what really stood out to me is the apartment’s great orientation — the morning sunlight through the living room window is perfect for my morning reading, and the quiet neighborhood means I can focus on my UQ language course assignments without distractions. It’s exactly the kind of space I’ve been looking for! Additionally, it is very convenient in terms of transportation and daily life. I believe your property can bring good fortune to anyone who lives here!
My hobbies are reading and traveling, so I really enjoy reading and studying in a comfortable and quiet space. I will not keep pets, nor will I drink alcohol, smoke, or hold parties—smoke is quite pungent to me. I’m a bit introverted, which means I spend most of my time on studying or gentle hobbies like reading — you’ll never have to worry about loud noises from my side, and I’ll always keep the common areas (if any) quiet and tidy for neighbors. At home, I clean my room every 3-4 days (wiping desks, vacuuming the floor, and organizing clothes) — I hate messy spaces! When I cook, I always wipe the stovetop and sink right after, so the kitchen never has food stains. I feel really good while doing housework, because seeing a clean and tidy room gives me a strong sense of accomplishment.
I am also willing to pay a higher rent for this property. When the lease ends, I will restore the room to its original condition. Moreover, during my undergraduate studies, I never fell behind on rent payments.
I’d be happy to provide any documents you need — like my UQ language course offer letter, proof of my parents’ financial support, etc You can reach me — I usually reply within 12 hours. Thank you so much for considering my application!
