I am moving to Brisbane from rural NSW to study a Bachelor of Science at QUT in 2018. I am a considerate and reliable housemate who enjoys meeting new people and building friendships. I am planning to work part time while I study. I have had a gap year over the course of 2017 and am looking forward to getting back into studying again. I enjoy reading, watching movies and a few beers on the weekend.
We are two friends who worked full time hours 5 or 6 days a week, we are very frinedly love having a drink and a chat couple of times a week when we have the time for it, looking for a nice place where to stay for a few months in Brissy.
Howdy... I'm looking for non share room, the closer to a train station and city the better. I currently study cert 3 business online, but seeking work also. (Heaps of experience/qualifications).. Only coming with 2 bags from Victoria. Will be out and about most days exploring a new city.. (Price/terms/dates negotiable) Appreciate any offers or responses, thanks ~Mike 😆 *must have internet.
The right fit for me is preferably queer friendly or left wing, socially concious. I work in grants writing and work weekends in a charity retail space. I've only just moved back to Brisbane so have no furniture so need the room to be furnished. I am 40 so though I enjoy going out I like to come home to a quiet household or a space it is ok for me to just do my own thing and be independent. I am not looking for a best friend to live with but someone to share a quiet and stable environment where everyone can relax. I am friendly, pay my rent on time and very clean/considerate and all I need is my space to be a retreat. If you are someone who likes your own space/privacy and life with a non disruptive flatmate who pays their rent on time - please feel free to contact me. Unlimited wifi and access to public transport is a must. I'm looking to live near the city.
Im super easy going, clean, don't drink or smoke but love a laugh. I am Australian but have been living in the USA, Italy and the UK for many years...I have come home to assist my elderly parents as they have both been ill and have extended my stay to be close to them while they recover. I enjoy walking and shopping, sometimes eating out but I mostly cook my meals at home. I like to watch tv and zone out....pretty normal stuff... No party houses please.
Two couples looking for a place to live long term while studying accounting in Brisbane. Although we don't intend on moving in until June 2018 at the very latest, if something too good to pass up comes along we're more than willing to take it. I'm not very good at writing these things but please feel free to contact me if you'd like anymore information :)
I'm spending the summer in Queensland, after long time planning. Coming from Brazil with Euro passport. Applied for a course in UQ, intend to have some work too. Already shared places during college, have intermediate surf level, good skills for playing guitar and know how to cook, no problem to clean and besides that to enjoy good times with friendly people!!
hello! we're an Italian couple with a long student visa! we are looking for a little private house...don't really care where about, just must to be easy with the public transport reach the CBD. we are quite clean and honest, never had problem for pay regularly rent.
Ready to move early/mid-January. Looking to live with one other person only. Don’t mind sharing bathroom though. Very friendly, reliable & considerate of others. I like a house that’s kept minimal & clean (somewhere that I wont feel embarrassed to show to my family or visitors!). Busy professional working girl during the week (magazine editor, PR & events). During the weekends I like to make the most of my time off. I enjoy adventures, socialising and sunshine. If I’m at home I’ll likely be enjoying my own time reading or painting. If you love a wine & platter, visiting the local cafes/bars, a road trip to the beach and so forth, then we will get along. :)
Respectful, organised, tidy, easy to get along and not a party animal. I am looking to share just with one person (either male or female). Sorry to couples or kids. Tide, clean and organised. I don't smoke and will like to share with a person that doesn't smoke either. Hardly ever have a glass of wine. So basically I will like to share with someone similar to myself. I am into cycling. Work full time, go to the gym and like to chill out on the weekends. My current flatmate and myself we get along perfectly but unfortunately I have to move out from the Gold Coast to Brisbane. I am looking for a unfurnished room as I have my own stuff, a decent size as I have a lot of shoes and girly stuff :) I don't have furniture, TV or anything like that.
My name is Ashlea, I'm a 24 year old female working in government Mon-Fri in Brisbane CBD. I'm looking for somewhere to live close to the city. I try to keep fit and don't drink during the week, but don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I'm a pretty chilled person and am respectful of space. I need my alone time occasionally but would still prefer to live with someone I can have a chat with! I am a non-smoker and have no pets and I am hoping for one or two room mates around the same age with similar interests. I have a car so I would prefer a parking space. Not interested in sharing a bathroom, please don't message if shared bathroom only.
Easy-going Brit looking for a place to live in South Brisbane. Quiet, relaxed person who likes to have fun and chat over a beer. I respect both privacy and the atmosphere of the house I live in. I am told by almost everyone I am a bit of a neat-freak too - so that'll never be an issue! Having experienced lots of living situations from student accommodation to shared flats I know what it takes to keep the harmony and am not one to shirk responsibilities. I will be working and travelling - so out of your hair for most of the time! Coming over to work in a brewery so hopefully that'll have its perks too!
Hi there, I'm studying a double of Business Management and International Hotel & Tourism Management and working almost (or more than) full-time hours in the city as a functions and events supervisor. When I'm not working, I'm studying, hanging out with friends or I'll be home cooking something awesome. I've lived out of home for over a year and I'm looking to move somewhere more central to work and my uni campus (so in the area of the city mostly). I'd also like to have my own bathroom/ensuite with an unfurnished room since I've got everything. I've lived with guys and couples, but I'm pretty relaxed and out of the house often that I'm mostly a ghost. I've got some super cute fish and snails, but that's about it. Looking to move in from mid-March next year once I get back from 2 months abroad. I'm clean and I'm looking for 4 months minimum. Feel free to send me a message! Looking forward to hearing from you, Riley
Im currently studying a Bachelor of Business/International Tourism and Hotel Management, full-time at Griffith University! Im easy to get along with and have spent the last year living on college at uni so I'm used to cleaning up after myself and keep my spaces tiny for everyone else. Im not a party animal and enjoy a quiet night in! I'm super independent and focused on my studies. Super keen on meeting new people in different industries/different universities :) ps. Super keen on a private bathroom if possible but will consider others!
I’m clean and organised. Easy to get a long with but respect personal space and privacy. I’m originally from Scotland but have been in Australia for the last 10 Year’s. I’m a sales rep and I work all over brisbane. I’m Very sociable and am looking to live with fun easy going people.
I am creative, kind, honest, good with communication and easy to live with. I am clean, organised, and pay my bills on time. I dont drink/smoke, love cooking, painting, making things, reading, writing, researching, picnics, live music, yoga, exploring new places and scrapbooking!
Hey! I'm Canadian but lived in North Queensland for a few years for uni. I'm looking to move to Brisbane near the end of December/early January. I am friendly, fun to be around, easy going and neat! There's more I can share, just shoot me a msg :)
I am from São Paulo / Brazil, I have a degree in physical education in my country and I was a personal trainer. I came to Australia to study English in a comprehensive way and to learn better. I am very sociable and quiet, I am very homely but I like to play sports and watch movies both at home and in the cinema, gosot to have fun in a group, to practice sports or just to go out and see other places.
Originally from the UK been living in Brisbane for nearly two years. Current lease is ending looking to move ASAP. Preference is a house share with a fun group of people. Spent much of my life to date travelling and overseas. Lived in lots of previous house shares. Easy going, love my sports and a beer or five!
Hi my name is Tayla! I've been house sharing from essentially the age of 18 (besides my brief stint living alone...not a lover of it). I'm incredibly fun, friendly and love to have a chat with my housemates. I'm respectful of people's personal space and like to keep a nice clean and tidy house. I have a precious fur baby, she's a Dalmatian named Daisy. Daisy is a gem of a dog and generally just loves to be loved and to take long naps on my bed. I currently work full-time and am an early riser as I love taking my dog for jogs in the morning. So, I'm not one for being rowdy at night...bit more a Netflix and go out for dinner kind of gal. (Whatever that means)... So, in summary I'm fairly easy going, upbeat and frankly downright hilarious. I keep my house clean, respect my housemates and go out of my way to make friends with my housemates to continually keep a happy, wholesome living environment. After all, its a home, not just a house. Also, my dog is fantastic and adorable.
American and Scottish did I what I have we been in in is and so since May. Currently live in West End and just want to see other areas of Brisbane while we enjoy our working holiday. Both of us work full time and are very organised and cleanly. Phil was a teacher and I was a design major so we are responsible and don’t have people over or leave cluttered shared spaces. We do love to explore the city and meet new people Fromm all cultures. Only looking for a place for a few weeks as we will be traveling.
