I'm looking a place where I have easy access to Kangaroo Point (South Brissy, South Bank, West End, Fortitude Valley, CBD). I would prefer to have my own furnished room because I'm working irregular times from early mornings to late nights. Sauna would be a huge deal too! What do I expect from my room mate(s): - Understanding and respect towards my irregular sleeping hours during the week and also on weekends...! - Not being the biggest party person (cos I rarely drink alcohol myself) - Is / Are neat and tidy what comes to the common areas (I'm super tidy person myself! I don't want to become other people's mum who need to take care of the cleaning stuff etc. because this place is going to be my home the next two months.) - Prefer to have room mate(s) who is/ are more than 25 years old What you get: - I'm social and spontaneous person with bubbly personality - I love adventures and being outdoors - I'm peaceful and quiet room mate to live with - Company to the movies, walks, shopping etc. - I have also shared a apartment two times before while living abroad so it's not a new thing for me.
Hi! I'm a 22 year old exchange student from Norway, going to study at QUT Gardens Point this upcoming semester. I'm studying biotechnology. Really looking forward to see everything Brisbane's got to offer! I'm a tidy and organized person. Also non-smoker. I would like to live with other nice and social people, and I have lived in a houseshare for 3 years in Norway, so I know what it takes to live with people you didn't know before. I love the outdoors and hiking, doing fun stuff with friends, and experiencing new stuff while I'm on exchange. Also love just relaxing at home with a movie and good food sometimes. I take my studies seriously, and use a lot of time studying, but often at libraries or other places than where I live. I would like the place I move in to, to be fairly quiet, at least not lots of parties, so it's possible to get some sleep. Coming to Brisbane on the 7th of July, so anything around 7th-16th of July would work as a move-in date. If you're wondering about anything else, don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you! Irina
Hi there! I'll be heading to Brisbane this July to start a Masters o Occupational Therapy at UQ. I'm very outdoorsy, always down for a chat and love exploring different places on weekends. Surgeon, author, foodie, scuba diver, non-smoker. Very tidy, sociable but do like my own space. Originally South African but living in the UK since 1998. Coming to Brisbane for sub speciality training.
I'm a Fine Art uni student studying Jewellery. I'm pretty quiet, tidy and easy to get along with (I think) but also up for hanging out over some tea or cider! I'm looking for a home that I'll be able to feel comfy in for at least 6 months.
I'm a 23-year-old student. I will be studying at QUT as an exchange student from this July to December. I'm looking for a place near kelvin grove campus or gardens point campus. I'd like to live with people who are friendly and are willling to chat and share stories.
** NOT ARRIVING IN BRISBANE UNTIL FRIDAY JULY 21 ** Hi! We're a fun, friendly, happy couple, non-smoking and not into drugs. Respectful, discreet, non-judgmental and sincere. Enjoy going out to music and partner dancing events but not into having big parties at home. Have experiences with house share and couch surfing. We only wish to share with non-smokers, need a car park space and prefer furnished. Also need fast internet for work from home video conferencing and remote access IT support. Walking short distance to Brisbane CBD would be perfect! Currently interstate and not in Brisbane until July 22nd so we'll have to sign any contracts via online or post.
Hi I'm Yas .. I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
Hi there! We're Jess & Alex, a couple of fun-loving American expats in Oz on working holiday. After being in Perth for the last few months working FOH for Cirque du Soleil we've just relocated to Brisbane. Jess is now the Volunteer Manager for BIGSOUND while Alex is working in retail/hospo. We're seeking a fully furnished room for the duration of our time here, now thru September 19th. We enjoy catching up with flatmates but also appreciate quiet personal time. We're both very clean, respectful & always willing to pitch in where needed. We cook at home quite a bit (always keen to break bread with roomies!), fancy a good Netflix binge watching session & prefer pubs over clubs. We are also big lovers of the great outdoors so we'll likely be away at times exploring what lies outside the city limits or visiting friends in Byron Bay. Feel free to shoot us a message with any other Q's. Look forward to chatting with you about your place! :)
I'm from Taiwan. Love animals, music, beach, adventures. clean, tidy, easy going and respect flatmate. Looking for a place could live with nice flatmate. Or someone who would like to share a big room with me.
We both are from South America. Recently married. So we are in the most wonderful days of our relationship. We are looking for place to live and also near our schools or place of work. It has to be $275 or less per week for the both of us (including bills). We have our own furniture for the room if needed, otherwise we can sell our stuff. We wouldn't like to share a bathroom, please no share bathroom places. We both work in food delivery and some other jobs (cleaning, couching). I am studying my undergraduate Biotechnology (Honours) at UQ St. Lucia. I am a full scholarship grantee from the Government of my country. Foreseen to graduate in December 2018. Now, my wife studies English at Langports near Brisbane city. She would culminate her English course in January. Then She would like to get a Management certificate. We are the most adorable couple in the world. We are known to be tidy and easy to live with. We are in a mature minded marriage, respectful, kind and overall supportive. We are not planning to stay in Australia after we finish our studies. the reason is simple, I have to go back to return the scholarship I was granted by my country. In other words, we are looking for place to call home until the duty call us in our country. Also, something crucial about what we want, it is to be considered as independent couple and have our privacy above anything. Hope you could grasp a little of what we are as couple. We do not bring any surprises as we are always sincere and honest of anything you may want to know. Again if you are considering to have us as guests in your home, we will always appreciate that gesture and we won't disappoint. Cheers.

Hi everyone, I have just landed a graduate job in Brisbane CBD and am making the move from Adelaide to Brisbane. Interested in accommodation that is close to public transport into the city. Also looking at maximum 200 pw including utilities/internet.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old guy from India - so a good stereotype would be if Raj from The Big Bang Theory made out with Dev from Master of None (which is to say, I'm into science, I occasionally read, love video games, have a quiet social life, and hoping to say Allora alot while I'm there.) I'm coming down to do a Masters at the University of Queensland, and looking for a place to stay for a short term while I get used to the city and consider my options. A little bit about myself: While in India I wrote and directed a few short-films/web-series - and occasionally performed stand up comedy. I like to be clean and organized , and love most kind of music, and I am pretty tolerable with almost all (or no) religious believes - so that would not be a problem. I also binge watch alot of shows, and as far as fun is concerned, I like to play/watch Badminton/Cricket/Football - or go on a walk, or shoot timelapses. Or sleep. Mostly sleep. I'm a party animal in that regard.
My name is Sebastian and I am from Sweden. I'm coming to Brisbane for an exchange semester at University of Queensland. I'll be studying finance and risk management as part of my masters degree in industrial engineering and management. Besides studying I intend to travel around on the coast and take a few longer trips. I'll be arriving on the sixth of June and will start looking for accommodation emidiatly. I'm an easy going and social person. I have lived in shared accommodation in Sweden with people from all over the world. I'm quite tidy and consider myself easy to live with. You won't have to worry about me breaking any house rules or throwing huge unannounced parties. With that said, I'm always down for a cold one and a chat. Please contact me if you have accommodation available. I can swing by and I am happy to be interviewed so you can judge for yourself. Best regards, Sebastian
