Hi, my name is Nika and I am currently looking for a place either 1) for my whole family to stay (my husband and 3 year old daughter) or 2) just for me.

Ideally I would love a space for my family and I but if unable to find anything suitable, a place for just myself that would allow the occasional visit or dinner with my family would be much appreciated.

The situation: due to the rental market, we have been living with my in-laws for the past 6 months while trying to find a place to stay. This place has now has become too much for me given the tense relationship between myself and my MIL and I now need alternative accomodation.

If we are unable to find a place suitable for all of us, my husband and daughter will continue to stay with my in-laws until we can find a place of our own, but would love to occasionally visit with and have dinner of a weeknight / weekend.

A bit about us: I am a full time medical receptionist based in Caloundra and absolutely love my job. I’m a quiet, creative girl who loves singing and arts when I’m not at work. I’m a mum to a beautiful little girl who is my whole heart!

My husband is currently studying full time in horticulture and looking for an employment opportunity in this field to really help him hit the ground running post-study. He is an amazing man who has given so much for his family and I honour him in how he has buckled down to complete his studies for his family!

My daughter is full of life, curious and bold. She loves being outdoors, playing outside or in water. She is the sweetest, most caring girl, who loves with such a big heart!

We are connected into a local church community in Aura in Caloundra. We love our local community, are a proud Sunshine Coast family from birth, looking for any opportunity to stay close to home!

I can provide employment and character references, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.

If looking at a shared place: I would consider all female around the 20-40 age range as that’s where I am at. I’m a quiet person, do not drink or smoke or swear, am very respectful of personal spaces and would like a space that respects my space too. I’m open to a chat every now and then, and I love friendly board games or the occasional Mario kart.

Our budget: for a place all together $550 a week. For just myself $350 a week preferably with bills included, but open to discussion on this.
