Hi! I’m GAEUN PARK, a Korean student currently studying at UNSW.

I’m really excited about starting my life in Australia and hope to live with flatmates who are friendly, considerate, and easy to talk to.

To tell you a bit about myself, First of all, I genuinely love keeping my space clean. Cleaning and organizing are almost like a hobby for me, so I tend to keep my room, the bathroom, and all shared areas tidy. I care a lot about maintaining a comfortable home environment where no one feels inconvenienced.

I also try to stay active. I plan to go to the gym regularly, and I’m a huge baseball fan⚾️⚾️. Back home, I often went to games, and I’d love to check out sports events here in Australia too. If you also enjoy sports, that’s great . but it’s totally fine if you don’t! It’s just something I personally enjoy.

I really like cooking as well, especially Asian food. If you’re okay with that, I’d be happy to cook and share meals from time to time. Don’t worry — I’m mindful of strong smells and always try to cook in a way that won’t disturb anyone. I’m flexible and open to adjusting to each other’s routines.

Above all, I value respecting personal space and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable for everyone. If something ever feels uncomfortable, I prefer talking about it calmly and kindly rather than letting small things build up. I think open communication makes living together so much easier.

I enjoy a quiet and relaxed home, but I also like having a friendly relationship with the people I live with — chatting sometimes, sharing small moments, and creating a good atmosphere at home. I believe having great flatmates can make life in Australia even more enjoyable.
