Hi, my name is Soo In. I’m 27 years old and from South Korea!
I’m looking for a warm and comfortable place to stay during my short stay in Melbourne. I work in the IT industry after graduating with a computer-related major in Korea and will be doing a remote workation from Feb 11 to Feb 28 (17 days). I usually have 2–3 hours of online meetings each weekday, so I appreciate a calm and respectful home environment — though light background noise is completely fine, as I’ll be working with my door closed.
I enjoy trying new things, especially hiking, running, and exploring nature. Even though my stay will be short, I hope to make happy memories in Melbourne during my days off.
I’m tidy, considerate, and easygoing. I keep shared spaces clean, respect others’ routines, don’t smoke, and only drink lightly. I’m generally very quiet, especially during work hours.
Regarding inspection: I would love to inspect the place in person, but since I start work the day after I arrive, I won’t have the chance. So I’d really appreciate a video tour or quick Zoom call to see the room and shared areas before deciding.
Regarding payment: Since I’m traveling from overseas, I’d like to secure the room in advance. I’m happy to pay a small holding deposit from Korea, and then pay the remaining amount on the day I arrive, so everything is confirmed for both of us.
P.S. Flatmates ID verification requires being in Australia, so I haven’t been able to verify mine yet. I’m happy to show my ID during a video call if needed.
