I'm looking to move to Melbourne from the south coast of NSW sometime over the next few months- Nov/Dec. I am currently working as a cook and am looking to find work when I'm settled in Melb. Hoping to move into a reasonably clean, friendly + social household- but at the same time enjoy and respect personal space. I've been living in a sharehouse for a while and clean up after myself + pitch in with the householdy thangs . I really enjoy cooking, eating + beer and and am keen to check out what Melbourne has to offer. Send me a message if you have something you think would suit you & I both Can provide references if required, thanks
I am looking any house that is close to the city tram and no more than 30 minutes away from the city tram. I'm working part time. I am sensitive to cleanliness. If it is possible that the animal is not in the house. I want to relax and find peace when I come home. I am happy to share food with my friends and chat with them.
Hey, I'm moving to Melbourne this Saturday and looking for a room in a house with decent people. I'm pretty cool, friendly, funny and I can cook hella good enchiladas. Although I am quite outgoing and very entertaining, I also respect your space and am very responsible with rent.
Hi! We are JACOB and DAISY and from South Korean. We're working holiday visa holders and have been here for 5 months so far. And now we're planning to move to Melbourne on november 9 to start our new journey in Melbourne! We are a very clean and tidy couple. We always clean the kitchen right after use as we keep everything clean. We are friendly and down to early. We also respect personal boundaries and space when it comes to shared house. We've never made any rent overdue ever so that wouldn't be a problem at all. I'm not comfortable to speak on the phone in English so please text me or message me here instead of phone call.
Hi there, I'm Ronny, I'm a 30yo single professional veterinarian new to Melbourne. I'm originally from New Zealand and have recently lived in London for several years. I am looking for furnished accommodation with own bathroom. My location choices are a rough guess and very flexible. I'm also flexible with my move dates and length of stay as I have temporary arrangements. I'm tidy and respect others spaces, can work fairly long and variable hours, quite independent but enjoy a social flat. I enjoy travel, cuisine, reading and sitting down with a glass of wine or gin. Anything else, feel free to flick me a msg :) Cheers!
I come from Germany and I'm 18 years old. I would appreciate if my flatmate is also down to go out sometimes but doesn't have to be that way. Especially during my work and travel journey I like to have only those things I really need and to keep a certain order. So I would be pleasant roommate.
Working professional, non smoker, fitness enthusiast. High value on cleanliness and respect for space. Responsible on everything. Open for setting up rules and expectations to avoid future conflicts. We could share infos (a thing or two) about health and wellness, fitness, movies, travels, sports. Up for exploring new places and cultures.
Hi, my name is Julie and I am from Scotland. I work full time in Southbank, usually 10am - 6pm, five days out of the week. I am really clean and tidy, so couldn't live with others who aren't! Apart from that, I am pretty laid back and quite independent, but I also love socialising with friends or flatmates over dinner and a glass of wine. I love pilates and yoga, and I try to eat reasonably well, however I have a sweet tooth, so there will always be chocolate in my cupboard! Haha. It would be lovely to share with people who are relaxed, social and up for a laugh. If you'd like to know anymore, or think I'd fit well, please drop me an email. Thank you, J!
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Hi. I'm Vino. I have lived in 3 countries so far (India, Singapore, Australia). I work in Telecommunications/IT industry. Hi all! My name is Jacky and I'm a 4th year university student at Monash University Peninsula. After 4 years of living in uni accomodation, it's time to graduate with my teaching degree in hand and look for a new place & housemates to live with! I'm originally from Hong Kong but have been based in Frankston for 4 years now. Having lived with different people of mixed genders every year has made me quite adaptable as a housemate. I'm an introvert at heart but am down for a night out and drinks every now and again. I enjoy clubbing and concerts too but if that's something you're worried about, don't be! I won't bring strangers and night-time racket home! My hobbies include but are not limited to taking nice scenic walks, reading, video games, exploring new places, taking photos, traveling, and meeting new people. Oh, I also like to throw in a corny joke from time to time. As a housemate, I am a tidy person in general. While my bedroom will probably look like a bomb site, I always make an effort to keep communal areas clean. I will invite friends over sometimes but I promise we will keep noise to a minimum. I'll always be open to bonding opportunities and will not hesitate to exchange some awesome banter with you, but otherwise I keep to myself in my room to get work done. I must add: not a fan of smokers (sorry to disappoint) I'm in the process of job hunting so my area 'preferences' are scattered everywhere at the moment. Will narrow them down more once I get calls for interviews etc. More looking for people right now~
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin also studying Korean at Monash and I'll be graduating May next year. I work part-time in Hawthorn at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out drinking and would like to be able to have a friend over on the odd occasion (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
Hi there, I'm a 22 year old hard working professional in Port Melbourne. I love to socialise with friends but also thoroughly enjoy my own space. I am currently living by myself in Frankston and am looking to move to the inner city in January; the daily commute is killing me! I come with useless facts, good banter and an overall positive outlook on life. Please message me if you'd be interested in getting to know more. Cheers, Hannah
Hi there! I've just moved to Melbourne and working full time. I'm super friendly and easy going. I don't make a mess! Looking for roommates to socialise with (but a Netflix night in is great too!)
