I work full time as a Restaurant Supervisor in Brunswick plus slowly building a clothing brand on the side. I love keeping fit, food & fashion. I'm an easy going, independent & motivated kind of guy who enjoys socialising but keeps a balance of quiet time. I'm clean, tidy & considerate.
Hi there! I heard bout this site from my brother who had nothing but praises so decided to give it a go. My gf and I are moving to Melbourne in January from Croatia (she's Croatian, I'm half-half dual citizen, mum was born in Aus. Lived most my life up in Cro) after a loooong time of planning for the big change and hoping to start ourselves a new life, finding work, learning new stuff and generally just living there! We're both pretty easy going, and moving from a flat in Croatia where we also have 2 roommates, so we're used to sharing space. We are tidy enough, I'm maybe a tad bit tidier than her! :D (she's a artist after all) We're outgoing, but not the annoying type, so we've no problem in keeping to ourselves as well. We're gonna be trying to look for jobs even before we fly down, and jobhunt to find something asap. TLDR: Couple looking for a affordable place to stay, as we're fresh in the country and need somewhere to start. Have no real set duration, would possibly like to look into getting our own place down the line. Finding friendly people would be great, and even more amazing someone semi local who we can gratefully mine for information. (We pay back in home made cakes n treats! XD ) Thanks for the read!
Hey there, I'm looking for a place in Melbourne as I am originally from Bendigo and tired of commuting each day. I study full-time as a student paramedic, and work part-time as a waitress. I love good food, bevvies, music and all things dogs. I am tidy, easy going, and love to cook (although not great). I'm a fun, happy-go-lucky gal, who's always down for a good time, making new mates and a place to catch some z's.
I'm from Japan. I came here as an exchange student. I'm currently studying at Deakin University. I'm looking for a private room with furnished. I need to stay from beginning of December to the middle or end of next February or beginning of March.
*After a room for a move-in date from early January onwards* I moved to Melbourne a few months ago from Wellington to start a new career in market analytics. I was a makeup artist for ten years and finished a commerce degree in July, so quite a change, but totally loving life sans study! Spare time things involve: coffee, cafes, meditation, yoga, mindful living & healthy food, Terra Madre visits, markets, second hand shopping, exploring Melb & surrounds, going for drinks & hanging outdoors, being active/running/gym, watching & going to the cricket & tennis in summer, being social & spending time with mates. Looking for friendly, warm vibes in a house & a social place where people are keen to get to know each other & hangout. Also, as cute as dogs are, I'm not so keen on living with one.
Hey, my name is Wiebke and I'm a German girl! Most of the people can't pronounce my name, so just call me Mimi (this is my nickname). About myself: I finished this year my A level in June and then I spend three month in Manchester, living and working there. After the three month I came back to Germany fro three weeks and then I decided spontaneous to do a work and travel year in Australia. I already traveled the east coast and now I want to stay a bit longer here in Melbourne, living and working here. Living with me together is pretty comfortable I would say.. :D I'm always for a laughter and I'm a very chatty person. Having good talks with the roommates is key because when I'm living in a shared room, I prefer to know the people around me and I want to enjoy the time while I'm living with different people/nationalities together. I would love to cook with you together, get to know the differences about menus and enjoy the taste of good food while watching Netflix maybe? I'm very outgoing as well, I love to spend time outside, walking around, partying or just chilling in the park. Also I'm kind of a clean person, I don't care about a bit dirt but it shouldn't look like a mess and regular tidying up is important. But when everyone is cleaning up their own mess, than it's not a big deal, isn't it? ;-) Thanks for taking your time, reading my profile and hopefully we will see in the next time, eventually living together? Cheers, Wiebke! x
Bonjour my Australian friends! My girlfriend Catherine Paul and I are searching for a fully furnished room. We can move in around december 11th and are looking for a lease around 1-3 months. An appartment with an AC would be a huge plus for us (for me). Also we dont want a place where its too crowded even more for the bathroom sharing. Now a little bit about ourselves... We are both fromMontreal (Canada) and we both speak english and french. My girlfriend is 28 and im only 27. We are very tidy, social, respectful and easy to live with. We both graduated from university; her in economics and me in finance (but we are not as boring as it may sounds lol). We have a working holiday visa and we both work full-time, me as a porter in a hotel and her as a waitress in a restaurant. We are not searching for a college party house but we still like to have fun and drink a little bit sometimes. Be sure that we will respect any roommate living with us as well as the rules implemented in the house (we are far from troublemakers). We usually get along pretty quickly with everyone. If you think our description match what you are searching for, please dont hesitate to PM me and we will be very happy to meet you and visit your place as soon as we can! Cheers! Vincent and Catherine
Hello, I moved from Queensland 3 years ago to study at the University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Environments, Architecture. I work part-time at a dentist and enjoy an active social, and healthy lifestyle. I do respect mine and others space by being clean and also tidy. I need a safe place to live with quiet time to study but also the company of housemates.
I’m from China and will study in UNIMEL for two years. Hope the place is easy to get to university. I’d like to make friends with people from different cultures. And I want to find a clean and tidy place to live. I like music and movies and even go to another city just for the film festival, so it's nice to watch the movie together in spare time. Please be free to message.
Hi, I am 39 but look and feel like I am still 28! I grew up in Canberra, but have travelled around Aus / Europe & USA for the last 19 years working in many interesting roles from recruitment, sales management, marketing etc and DJing on the side. I am from a large Italian/ Aussie family and although this is the first time I've lived in Melbourne its always felt like a second home to me as I've visited family here since I was a spring chicken. Started a full time sales job in Richmond last week and currently residing with a close friend in Heidelberg, so I am keen to move asap closer to the city / work. I have mostly shared flats with people over the last number of years and have never rarely had any issues with it, as I find its all about being respectful and reliable and a great way to meet new people and create friendships in a new city :) The type of people I tend to get along with the most organically are usually well travelled, interesting, healthy, have a good sense of humour and are creatives in music/ design. I am a fit, non smoker, single guy (no kids) with a good sense of humour and although I'm not a pancake expert, I do know a tosser when I see one!!!
Hey all, my name is Gazain im 22 years old from Dubai. I've lived in Melbourne for about 2 and a half years and am just counting down to the days i graduate (last semester left). A little about myself: Im very cooperative, adaptive, easy going. I'm naturally an introvert but i do enjoy semi-usual conversations that keep things lighthearted and hilarious. I love hip hop so expect me to be blasting it through my headphones on most days. I try to rely on discipline for me to accomplish the things i do in my life on a daily basis. I like to gym as often as i can during my spare time so (expect a lot of meal prepping!).I like to cook and indulge on the weekends, this can vary from staying in and binging tv shows and movies or going on a night out on miscellaneous adventures around town. im very reliant on public transport and will base that on my potential stay at your home. i have a lot respect for people who like to make compromises and can make decisions without involving selfishness or ignorance. Im very LGBT+ friendly and am an occasional smoker looking to quit in the next month or so. I'm also very drug and alcohol friendly (no judgements from my part, in fact odds are i'l probably ask to join you), and i prefer to keep conversations deep and mutual respect and consideration deeper. I will value you the more time i spent with you and tend to be very self-sacrificial in my actions if we become good friends. Social commentary and keeping a tab on the survival rate of humanity (on a introspective and evolutionary perspective) are my forte, and i usually go off if i find people who bring up the right topics with the right mindsets. Other than that, i'm usually pretty responsible of my own space and am happy to accept having people over (so long as im not swamped with paperwork or studies on a hectic night), noise levels are usually kept at appropriate levels. Im looking forward to hearing your story and sharing a home, please contact me if i seem like the right fit for turning your living quarters into a place of safe, accepting and dynamic and stimulant-appealing home
Hey! I am looking for somewhere to list as a secure address. I will be staying 2-4 nights a month while I travel around for work/travel. I am happy to pay 75-90 a week. Your able to use the room while I’m away. I’ll be back in melb around Jan 30. But happy to start paying mid jan to secure a room.
We are both 24 and working full time although I will be hoping to start a masters in February also. We are easy going and friendly and also very clean! Up for chats and cooking with flat mates.
Hi, everyone! My name is Heath, and currently seeking a new share house and/or sweet set of housemates in the Melbourne CBD. If you have a spare room available for me, please read on! Ideally, the arrangement would begin in early January. I recently graduated from law school and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I will be working in the city next year, and for convenience sake, hope to live there too. Having moved back with my parents in recent times to save some funds, rejuvenating my independence is a key priority. Prior to this, I have spent many years living in share environments. #willpaythebills I like to keep busy and value personal development, but also value relaxing and letting loose when the occasion arises. It follows that I am happiest when around people who live life to the fullest. #maxenergy I keep an open mind with people, my future, and opinions. I love meeting new people and building connections. Much of this attitude comes from extensive travels abroad. #bigpictureperson My humour must be described as sarcastic, blunt, and dry. If you are overly sensitive we may confront difficulties. #banterisking In terms of tidiness, I value keeping communal spaces clean, and will definitely adhere to a cleaning schedule. However, the state of my room will often reflect how hectic my life is at any given moment. #teameffort Finally, I have few physical assets to bring to the team at this stage, but can argue my way out of any utility late fee, and can even give you a tip or two on where to place your next investment. Hobbies include running, socializing, going to the market, and polishing my shoes. Please send me a message if interested!
Relaxed personality and respect others privacy space. Clean up after myself. Just found a job in melbourne and looking for a place called home for the long periode. Im into making music, martial arts, tal chi, art gallaries and occasionally a drink in a bar with good company.
