Hi there, My name is Ivy and I am a fresh graduate from RMIT university. I am working semi-full-time (if there was such a word) as a freelance professional translator and interpreter which means I would be crazy busy at times, super chilled other times and cannot make any party plans until the last minute (life is all about spontaneity anyway right?). I also have a side job as a telephone interviewer in the city so I would prefer to live in inner suburbs. I could make Vietnamese food. If it helps.

Hey guys and girls. I'm Tom, 29, from the UK and I arrive into Melbourne on the 20th Feb.. I've lived on my own and with housemates since I was 20 and have also travelled the world a fair bit since then as well.. I play guitar and love music and nature.. I love to go on long walks and find new trails in my area all the time. I love all animals and don't judge people at all.. I currently work as a commi chef in a busy restaurant and would like to jump right back into something similar when I get established with a place to live. I'm a confident, clean, respectful, friendly and fun person to be around so if you're like me and are looking for someone with similar qualities then please get in touch.. Looking forward to speaking with you soon.. Cheers..
Hi! I'm back in Australia after a year-long working holiday where everyone kept telling me how great Melbourne is - so I figure I have to go and live there myself! I'm just as happy to chat with flatmates or to keep to myself. I clean up after myself and will do my share of any housework. I like low noise levels at bedtime, but so long as things aren't super loud late at night I'll be right. I am also a massive nerd, which could be a pro or a con depending on who you are, and I do a lot of knitting. While I don't have a job waiting for me, I can pay 2-3 months' rent in advance so you know that it's taken care of. Having found a job, I'd then be able to commit to a longer stay. My budget is $200 per week including bills and internet. I would ideally like a place within 30 mins public transport to Melbourne Central, but I can stretch up to an hour. I'd also be interested in short term stays that will allow me to set up a base for job- and house-hunting. I'm looking forward to settling into a new place and seeing what I learn and where it takes me!
I'm from England and came over just before christmas. I work for in a cafe but I am also doing a part time charity apprenticeship course and volunteer alongside. I am a easy going and fun loving person, I'm tidy but not obsessively so. I have friends in the area but I'm looking for a sociable house where I can chill out with in the evenings mid week but also have a beer with on the weekends. Hope to hear back, Fi x
I'm an 18 year old girl from England, I've been in Australia for six months and I'm interested in either moving to Melbourne or Sydney to find a better job. I love going out and socialising but I also love chilling out too, cooking and watching movies etc. Looking for likeminded young people like me to share this experience with and make new friends. 😊
Law student from Denmark on exchange at the University of Melbourne. Looking for somewhere I can stay until approximately late June. I'm ready to move in ASAP. I'm clean, tidy and easygoing and generally make for a good room/flat/housemate. I'll probably be busy with school and social stuff related to school/the exchange community for a considerable amount of time over the coming semester, but when I'm not, I'll be cool with hanging out, having a beer or just chilling. Don't mind living somewhere where it is a bit homely. Will be in Melbourne until late June. I've got savings and scholarships so I will always pay rent on time!
Hi there, I am Peter, a 34 year old Melbournian looking for a place to stay long term. Having shared flats in the past, I would like to share again to have a good space to rest after work or the outdoors - and to enjoy the company of mates for a late brekkie or with a good glass of red at night. I am happy to share with guys or girls having done so before. Currently I am working full time as an analyst in the CBD - and otherwise love surfing, the outdoors and salsa. I do not smoke and I am used to cleaning regularly, sharing fridges and the kitchen and to respecting each others private space - and friends tend to say I am fairly easy going and pleasant to be around. If you think this sounds like the flat mate you’re looking for, I’d love to come by to get to know each other and find out more about the details. Cheers, Peter

I love live music, festivals, and the odd social drink. I've lived in share houses for the past 3 years so I definitely know how to pull my weight as a roomie. I'm hoping to get into music journalism but I might end up with a barista job while I'm here instead. I'm friendly and empathetic. I keep a clean and well organized home. I've lived with male and female roommates for the last six years. I'm social but I'm content to spend time on my own too. I like to think I have great taste in music.

Hey! My boyfriend and I graduated university in England and after working for a few months went backpacking in Asia for four months which has been amazing. We're now arriving to Australia from the Philippines. We want to work and live in Melbourne because it sounds like a really cool and arty city to live in with a lot going on. We're tidy and have lived in house shares before. We're both laid back and friendly and are just looking for some nice people to live with for around 6-8 weeks from the second week of March (6th onwards) although we're a bit flexible because we both have family we can stay with for a bit. I enjoy running and going to the gym although actually I've done no exercise for like five months. I also like socialising and having a drink. I'm from Cornwall so I love a good beach as well. Ben's favourite hobbies are hiking and complaining. We both like a bit of yoga but we never do it! Pleaaase get into contact if you think you have any options that suit our dates. We're open to many options. Cheers!
Hello, we're two german backpackers who are staying in Melbourne for a couple of month. Both of us are working full time. We're two nice, friendly and funny persons who are looking for a nice flat or a share house. Hope we hear from you guys. Cheers
Hey, I’m Jake. I’m 22 and Moving to Melbourne from Adelaide in March to work a full time finance job in the city. I’m looking to either find an established share house or start a new place with 1 or 2 lovely people around the same age. I’m like to think I'm pretty easy-going and promise to not annoy you too much. I always appreciate some down time during the week to relax with a decent movie, indulge in a solid TV binge or chill with some good music, but I'm equally looking for people willing to share a few laughs, a couple of drinks and some nice food from time to time. I’m respectful and I like to think I'm pretty clean and tidy (without being a freak). If I sound like someone you could put up with, feel free to drop me a message!
I've lived in share houses for quite some time, from 1 other person to 7 other people, so I've seen it all! I'm in school and working two part time jobs, so I'm pretty busy but always down for a chat. I'm tidy and neat in communal spaces and respectful of peoples privacy and schedules (i.e. when I need to be quiet). Happy to team up with others looking for a place as well!
I'm a super friendly, high energy, creative Canadian who enjoys listening to nick cave, watching netflix docos, and blogging. I'm clean, courteous, and quiet. Can't wait to meet my future flatmate(s)!

I do enjoy a good night out but normally will be studying or working but don't mind if others have people round. I also love going to the gym and chilling at home watching a movie and having the odd beer.
I'm fun, clean, and organised. I love music (studying a Batchelor of music performance full time), and i'm super friendly! I'm relocating from QLD to Melbourne. I have visited Melbourne a lot as my sister lives there and I'm in love with the city. So it's time to move. I'm a hard worker, I always have 2 jobs on the go. I'm very courteous and clean when it comes to living. I'm very friendly and there's a 99% chance we will get along :)
I've had 4 years of shared accommodation so I'm experienced in maintaining a great and respectable home. I'm a 21 year old being transferred for a better position (general office excitement with stress I promise to keep to myself :D). I'll be here permanently however if you only need someone for a few months that would be fine. I'm excited to experience life in Melbourne so if you'd like to show me around and what there is to do that would be alot of fun! In my spare time I'll pretty much just read alot and play video games, also I spend an hour in the gym before work!

I work full time as an Engineering Operations Manager at an energy company. I'm looking to maintain a room in or near the CBD that I'd stay at on weekdays. Initially, I'd be looking to do this on a short-term basis, but if it works out better for my work life balance I'll be looking for something more long term. I don't smoke or throw parties. I'm easy going and happy to be flexible to meet others needs. Although I won't be around most weekends, I'm happy to chat in the evenings on weekdays. I'm also happy to share cooking equally if that fits in with your preferences.
Hi there, I'm a clean & tidy, down to earth guy. staying in Melbourne for a holiday but live in Adelaide. I've recently been accepted at two naturopathic colleges, called Endeavour here in Melbourne and Adelaide, so I'm hoping to find a place to live in either cities wherever i can find a place i will choose to study. Hoping to be closer to the CBD but im happy to be further afield. I try to live a healthy lifestyle to support my health for various reasons, but have absolutely no issues with how anyone else chooses to live. saying that i am a smoker but would never smoke inside a home. I can mingle or am quite happy to be in my own company. ask me anything you'd like to know? Kind Regards David
My name is Fernando Nusynkier, I am from Argentina and I'm in Melbourne studying English this year. Is the room still available? I would be very interested to meet you and see the room. I am friendly, clean and easy going. I am still learning English but I also speak Spanish and Italian. At the moment I am living in Elwood with my brother and his family. Please message if you have any questions or want to arrange to meet. Many thanks.
My name is terri, I am 25, female and have a full time job and looking for a little place I can relax in, after a long day at work . I am a really tidy and respectful person who I loves photography and design, I also enjoy keeping fit, writing and scuba diving.
Who wants to live with me? Looking for a shareroom / flat / squad / garden / anything to call home :) I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. After living on the road, in a van and in a hammock for a while I decided I want to stick around and settle down instead of being some kind of homeless (which is really cheap tho, can definitely recommend it). No kiddin', it just feels like it's time to find a place to call home again and experience the daily life in Melbourne. At the moment I am working 2 days in the week but I'm planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. I'm a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam and I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. After 8 years of working full time at the office as young professional in Telecommunications and IT, I decided to quit my job and start traveling the world. This because I realized my current life situation was simply not going to make me happy in the end. I'm a really chilled out and social guy. Stress and worries doesnt exist in my life, life is just perfect as it is. I love having a beer while talking and philosophize about life and the beautiful world we are living in. One of my biggest hobbies is socializing with people from all over the world. I'm reliable, friendly, respectful, open-minded, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beer & 420 and I am a music lover in general, I think genres doesnt really matter; when it's good, it's good! :) I also would love to learn how to play any instrument, so living with a musician would be totally awesome. Other things I love and appreciate: food & cooking, (extreme-) sports, nature/camping/hiking, sustainable living, coffee, movies, spirituallity and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor, South Yarra or surrounding area's. A garden with some fruits of vegetables would be amazing, cause I really want to improve my skills in growing my own food. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So if you have a place available don't hesitate to contact me so we can meet up for a chat and to get to know each other. Hope to hear something from you soon! Peace & blessings <3
