I'm a 29yo from Vancouver, Canada and have moved over to Australia! Looking forward to exploring Melbourne. I work in Human Resources/Recruiting and will be looking for a FT position when I move. I have a small cat named Marshmallow... you will hardly even know she is there as she keeps to herself. I like to be active, am social but appreciate my quiet time as well. Really like to cook, swim and yoga and try new things. Always up for an adventure!
Hey guys! I’m a 20 year old female from radelaide, you’ll probably find I’d be to and from quite a bit. Looking for a new place to call home. Would love if my housemates became good friends! I do prefer people around my own age or a little bit older and preferably no couples. I’m tidy and responsible and understanding of other people’s privacy, not really a party person as I’ve alwsys worked late nights in hospitality but don’t mind a night out every now and again. If anybody has anything that thinks would work well hit me up! Thank you 🙈
Hi I'm looking for a nice room to stay in CBD. I'm 24 ys from Thailand. I work full time jobs in the restaurant ( 5-6days/week and 10-11 hours/day ) Actually I'm staying with my parents atm but my house a bit far from the city. I'm deciding to find a room to stay when I'm tired to back home and when i want to hang out in the city. ( Ps. Sometime my sister would stay with me on the weekend night.) I will stay in my parents house mostly and in the room I'm finding i might be there 2-3 days/week or 3-4hours/day for take some rest then i might back home.😅 Yeah it seem like my housemate won't see me staying in my room often. But no worry they can call and text me everytime if they have something to talk with me and I always pay rent on time.😊 Im very polite, responsible, clean, friendly, drinking and party (I mean in the club not in the room😅) but sometime I'm introvert. And we are looking for someone who open mind, chill, not sweat the small stuff, and respect in my space.
Hi! I'm a 19 year old student at Unimelb currently studying science. I'm from Newcastle, however, but I decided to move to a bigger city to study. I'm just looking for a chill place to stay whilst I complete an intensive subject during the summer holidays before I move in with a friend in mid Feb. I love people, but also like my personal space - I enjoy social events buut, if you're busy/not into socialising, I'm quite content keeping to myself (I'll be preoccupied with uni anyways so it'd probably be for the best :) ). I'm also quite tidy and pay my bills on time too. More about myself: I like going for walks and finding new places, I love church, food, wine, staying in and watching movies, as well as going out with friends.
Hello, I am Hermanto 28 years old happy guy. I am a laid-back, easy going, tidy and clean person. I don't smoke I'm looking for a clean and quiet place to live with gym and sauna would be perfect. In Melbourne CBD. I am on Work and Holiday visa and planning to work full time, would stay in Melbourne from 3-12 months. Do not hesitate to message me if you have any within my budget. Thank you.
I'm Will, I'm from the UK and before I came to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Hi there! I'm Salama, 22 years old and I come from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In February I'm going to study at the University of Melbourne for one semester (feb-june) and I'm looking for a home! I'm a chill roommate, who loves to cook and keep things tidy and clean. Besides those 'basic' things, I really want to get to know Melbourne and it's environment when I'm there but I would definitely like to hang out with the ones I live with. I'm a film student so I love watching movies and going to movie theatres (musuems too). I also love the outdoors, cycling, hiking, I like it all! Well, if there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Hey there potential new housemate! I'm Hayley and I've just graduated from an accounting degree. I am moving in Jan 2018 from Sydney to start full-time work with NBN. I have been renting a granny flat since June 2016 so you needn't worry about someone who won't pay their bills or keep the house clean. In my free time, I love watching live music, watching crime shows and reading. I do not smoke nor do I have pets but do not mind if flatmates do. I am always up for a chat or night out but am quite happy to stay home also. Can't wait to meet you!
Hi guys! I am Margherita, 32 year Italian journalist who has spent the last 3 years in Berlin. After having travelled the East Coast I am ready to settle in Melbourne for a while, I'll be staying for sure until the 24th of January, possibly longer. I am currently looking for a job, but despite being jobless I can pay my rent, so no worries about it. I am very clean and tidy, I eat healthy and I do yoga, but I also like to party, go dancing (missing the Berlin club scene terribly) and go to gigs (missing the Berlin punk scene terribly). I enjoy a lot lot lot the company of people, but I am an introverted (even though you probably wouldn't think so), meaning that I also need a good deal of time on my own to recharge. I often write and read, I love surreal conversations, nonsense and weirdness in general. If you have a room for me please hit me up, can't wait to call Melbourne my home :)
we're a french couple, Marion and Nicolas. we're both working in the city center. we're quite quiet on the week , we like to have a drink, a diner . on the week end we like both to go out and move in victoria . we're looking for an accomodation for 1 month to 2 months starting from early december .
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs/move date, and open to teamups. :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
I'm from Malaysia and will be starting my first year in Swinburne University next year (2018). I'm very open minded and I like making new friends. I love adventures so maybe we could chill and explore places occasionally. I'm tidy and will keep my room clean. I'll also respect your privacy but I would prefer if we could gather and chill occasionally. I'm looking for someone who can respect & click well with me and who can hopefully become a good friend in the future.
