I am easy going and friendly. Enjoy music, art, crafts, comedy, movies, books, cooking, learning new languages & cultures, short hikes and swimming. I look forward to exploring Melbourne and learning more about the city. Ideally I'd like to live in a female flat but willing to adjust depending on the flat circumstances. I'd also like a place closer to the city with easy access to Public Transport as I will be working in the CBD.
Izak here, an international student from the Netherlands. My partner is going overseas for work and therefore I am looking for a room to rent until I finish my degree and found a job. Because we lived in an apartment I own full furnishings, such as: a tv, a couch, a washing machine, kitchen appliances etc, and happy to contribute my bit. I study social work, play rugby, am an active volunteer in the LGBTI+ community, and work part-time in a supermarket. I am a social, mature, reasonable guy that likes to have and cook a dinner at times, but also loves to have a bit of privacy. The room I am looking for is spacious and near public transport. I do not mind if the room is a bit further out in any of Melbourne's suburbs. I am allergic to pets, and as an ex-smoker prefer a non smokers household :)
Hi I'm Jai. I am 26 years old. Full time working professional in the city. I play sport two nights a week. I dont mind a beer on the weekend also.
I work full time, I like to think that I'm friendly and easy enough to live with. I'm a little bit of the clean freak, I love to cook and share a meal with my fellow housemates occasionally, am respectful of your space and would like you to be the same with me. As I'm being transferred from Brisbane for work, I would love to live with someone who enjoys going for breaky and up for an occasional adventure, someone who will also be happy to head out for a few drinks or chill out at home watching trashy tv or movies. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi There, I am Aaliyah, 32F moving from Singapore to Melbourne within the next few weeks. I worked in the branding/advertising industry in Singapore and currently taking a little break to pursue my masters, however I would still be working on a part time basis in Melbourne. I'm a happy and sociable person. I am new, will want to explore more of the city and make new friends! so probably will say yes to just about anything. I love fitness, socialising & dancing. Apart from that I am clean and tidy :) Keen on having my own bathroom. Any questions feel free to ping me on this. Aaliyah
Financially stable English guy here to work in the tech industry, enjoy weekend beers (maybe a couple mid week?). Looking for shares where we'd be friends as well as roommates as I'm new here, but I also like/respect personal space. Looking for 3 - 6 months. Preferably furnished and utilities included but I'm willing to budge a fair bit for the right place. Has to be either in the CBD or with a super easy way in for work and social activities, I don't fancy cold 10-15 min hikes each day.. I think my budget is fair with this request. I've listed Carlton, Fitzroy and East Melb just so that if you're an awesome group of people I'd consider leaving the free tram zone. Care more about the people than location & cost. Get in touch if you think you're a fun household, and you also don't mind if the odd friend comes over. I'm super respectful and clean, don't mind splitting chores & cleaning expenses etc. Bonus points if you have a games console, I'm starting to miss mine. Sorry this has gone on, and I've not even done it in a comical fashion.. shame on me! Cheers, Steven
I'm Vietnamese and I will go to Melbourne for studying Master in RMIT in this July,2017. I'm not the kind of annoying person and I would like to live in peaceful and friendly places. I know how to cook and do household chores. I'm looking for a private room better with private bathroom. More important, I want to live with friendly, honest people. Contact me if you have one.
Hey! :) Me & my boyfriend have been living in the CBD for the last 3 months now, we would like a change from our current Apartment but are looking to still live in/around the CBD area. We both work full time, I myself work in Hospitality in the CBD, Jordan does Trades & Labour/Events work. We are a fun, lovable British couple who mainly keep ourselves to ourselves but like to go for the occasional drink here and there. We are clean, tidy and respectful. We are looking to move in to somewhere new on May 26th. We would be more than happy to place a deposit down for right place. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon :) Chrissie
Hi, we are two English backpackers who are arriving in Melbourne on June 3rd. We do not yet have a job secured but will be actively looking for full time work. However we are financially stable and are able to pay a months rent up front. We are ideally looking for one shared room (double or twin, we're not fussy!) with people of a similar age (early-mid twenties). We are tidy, sociable people who also like to have chilled evenings. We are both easy going and will be respectful of both the property and our housemates.
I'm a cook from Chile in my early thirties looking for a place to share for a long stay. I came to Melbourne to study a Diploma of Hospitality Management and also to work. I'm up to have a nice chat, know new people, maybe prepare a meal together and share a glass of wine.
Hey! I´m Tuni, from Uruguay. Im 26 yo fashion designer and also have a degree in management and business administration. I´ll be living in Melbourne for at least 4 months, maybe more. I´m easy going and have a great sense of humor. I´m also responsible, respectful of other´s space, and very neat. I like staying in and watching Netflix but as I´m new to the city, I´ll probably want to go explore Melbourne too. I´m looking for a chilled and relaxed place to stay while I´m here so hopefully I´m a good match to any great housemates out there!!
Canberra raised and looking for an unfurnished room in the the inner north after calling Carlton North home for two years. Work as Sales Consultant 9to5 also study post grad in procurement part time. Enjoy producing music or playing around on my decks, going to the gym and playing bball in my free time. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. Heya I'm Isma, 30 yo girl from Brussels, Belgium. I've been in Melbourne for two years now, working as a graphic designer Looking for: • Bedroom (Preferably a room with an ensuite but not a defining factor) • Long Term • 2 to 3 people including me • You'd make me super happy if you have a cat! • Reasonable price • Moving in around 1st of June About me: Looking after a place I could call home. I'm really laid back, down to earth and friendly. I'm quiet most of the time but like having human interactions with housemates. I'm staying at my partner's house on most weekends so I'll mainly be home during the week. I'm into music, tech-house mainly. I used to DJ lots but due to an ear injury I'm only doing music production. I love nature, spirituality, video games, watching documentaries. Should I mention I am vegetarian? I speak French and yes I'll teach you swear words :D Just ask me if there is something else you would like to know about me. About you: • Females/males, 27/35 • Social house with chats over a tea or wine and occasional dinner or outings • Housemates tidy and clean in the shared space. Super respectful of other people living in the house • Environmentally conscious Cheers! :)
Hi! My names Emma and I'm a Chef. I'm currently working in Crown and looking for a place to live in close proximity. I've lived in Melbourne for about 6 months and have done so with the generosity of friends letting me stay with them. But it is time for me to fly the coupe and find my own place My work hours can be hectic. Morning shifts start at 7am and night shifts finish at midnight, meaning, if I do a double shift, I basically don't exist for the day. Sometimes I do go out after work, depending on my shift the next day so I could be getting home at very, very late hours. I do drive and have a car, so parking is ideal. I don't mind onstreet parking but off street is preffered. I barely use it now, just on my weekends to visit my grandparents in Bendigo. I eat out quite a lot. Melbourne has so much to offer! I'm always down for making new friends to try out all these new places with. I can be very shy and quiet at first but I'm a very happy and voiced person once I'm comfortable which can take me anywhere between a week and a month, it also depends on the personality of the individual as well. I don't drink very often and I barely get drunk when I do. I am a smoker but I have etiquette and manners so I am not messy and don't leave butts or ash everywhere. If there's anything else you'd like to know, send me a message and I'll happily respond! My preffered move date is set to May 22nd as I am away from May 12-21st but am happy to move to the right place earlier!
Dear potential future housmate! I'm looking for a shared space with good energy somewhere in Melbourne from the 8th of April! A little bit about me: I'm from Sweden, I'm 21 years old and I'm currently travelling the world indefinitely. I'm going to Australia for a year to fill up my travel budget and hopefully have an amazing time while there, connecting with new people and creating beautiful memories! I'm a very easy-going person who doesn't mind diving into deep conversations about life with you, but also totally respect your alone time and personal space. :) Some of my hobbies include yoga, meditation, wiriting, and self-discovery. I also enjoy dancing, guitar jamming, movie nights and cooking together! If you think we'll vibe, don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hi! My name is Melanie. Moving from Sweden to Sydney/Melbourne in September/October. I'm a pretty neat person, I also enjoy reading and painting during my free time. Not much of a party goer, rather stay in and watch a movie with friends. I'm also not in a relationship, my time is pretty much divided between work and friends. That's me in a nutshell, oh and I'm pretty good with makeup.
Hi there, First, thanks for looking at my profile. Please read carefully before contacting me. My lease ended at the end of March and am looking to start a new one on 3rd/4th May or thereabout. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD free tram zone or Southbank. I have been sharing rental apartments with flatmates for a while now. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. I do my own cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment should be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Hi I'm Minnie. I’m going to be an exchange student at Melb U next semester and I'll be living there for a year. So i'm looking for a house to share with other flatmates. I'll arrive Melb early July (around first week). I'm currently a third-year industrial design student. I've been to Melb before last year but only for a couple days and I can't wait to go back. I'm turning 21 soon. I'm pretty chill and I love travelling so I'm always down to explore. I can sing and play guitar for fun. It will be like my year off so I will pretty much be chilling haha just take this opportunity to find what I like and wanna do in the future. I'm planning to do a part time job once everything falls into places and my parents will support me financially anyway so I think I'm probably gonna pay the rent on time haha. I drink occasionally like I go out once-twice a month. I’m living in Bangkok, Thailand right now. I live on my own in an apartment so I can handle all the houseworks and I can cook and bake basic food.
