I'm a relaxed and sporty Kiwi relocating to Melbourne on the 21st Jan for full time work as a software developer. I'm an outdoors fanatic and traveller so enjoy going out in the weekends on some kind of adventure. Rock climbing, Cycling, Surfing I do a bit of everything. I love to get into more meaningful conversations and create a homely feel. If we are living together we shouldn't be invisible to each other. Being open to late night snacks and casual drinks with some intelligent conversation is great. I don't watch T.V. don't drink to excess, rarely eat fastfood and don't smoke. I try to keep my mind and body in a healthy state and enjoy company with others who also do the same. fb ben.edridge
Hi all! My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in early February. We're searching for a temporary [single] room to stay until we settle into our jobs and find a place of our own (~ 1 month). We're pretty open to the location, and both of us have income and savings sorted so rent won't be an issue. We're both in our early 20s, don't drink often, and we're very clean and tidy. We would greatly appreciate any offers :)
Hi there, I am a lawyer moving to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up. I'm keen to find a place in or just outside the CBD. I can commit to going onto a lease for at least a year, and my start date is flexible. I am super easy to live with (fairly sure I have no annoying habits!) and have always got on well with flatmates. In my spare time I enjoy chatting about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts (or playing in them as a cellist), and cooking and baking. As for the boring but important stuff, I will have no difficulty with rental/bill payments and I always take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
In Neha Voora. Am from India . Il be arriving in melbourne On Feb 23rd 2018. To start my masters in RMIT. Im a very neat and hygiene person. Im looking for a one bedroom with own bathroom apartment or house.
I'm a third year graphic design student at RMIT. From Singapore but I've been in Melbourne since 2016. I really like photography and travel. I don't go out late or have parties, I don't usually have many people over and I hate talking on the phone so I won't have loud calls. I've lived with a flatmate before so I know how to keep common areas clean and tidy (my room might get a bit messy though but never dirty).
Hi everyone! I'm a business administration student from Italy. I will spend one semester as an exchange student at the University of Melbourne. I'm planning to arrive in Melbourne in mid-February 2018 and leave in late June / early July. I'm looking for a single room located as close as possible to the University of Melbourne. I'm a clean and tidy person, like to go to the gym and having an healthy lifestyle.
Hey! I've recently moved down from Brisbane to work full-time as a Web Developer at a creative agency in Collingwood specialising in music, events & entertainment. I'm a pretty relaxed person and tend to keep to myself and my work, but am always keen to hangout and socialise with new people especially if it means I get to explore this new city. I’ve stayed in a few share houses before so i’m house trained and I tend to just clean up after myself as I go also always happy to pitch in on house duties. Let me know if you'd be interested in a chat!
I'm a designer and I like to listen to music all day, watch movies, order food, and have friendly chats with my flatmates. I'm Czech and I have lived in Australia for nearly 4 years. Moved to Melbourne in November to work with some startups. Looking for a modern equipped and looking apartment with fast and reliable internet, pool/gym would be nice.
Hi there, looking for a modest accommodation in Melbourne, preferably in a shared house with fun people. I'm moving to Melbourne in February for post graduate studies and I'm planning to stay for a whole year, but I'd be happy with renting for a shorter period of time too. I'm a German lawyer, but like to think that I'm not as square as this is making me sound. I can offer 9 years of flatmate experience and like to hang out with new people (preferably with a few delicious pints), though I am not the type of person who would keep you up at night if you're having a busy time and aren't in the mood for shenanigans.
Hi, LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 11 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates bathroom and budget. Cheers Peita:)

I am in Australia for about 2 months and I need a place to stay. I will do field based studies at an organisation that provide aged care and settlement services for migrants and refugees. I lived in Australia for one year during 2015, and during that time and found a place to stay by using flatmates.com.au. Everything went very well and I found new friends and all went good without any problems. I am used to living with other people, both with good friends and strangers. I am easy going, calm, tidy, and respect others own space. Most probably I will not be at home that much, because I want to make the most out of my time in Melbourne. I have a big interest for dancing, nature plus human- and animal rights. Please let me know if you know a room where I can stay during my time. Preferably a place inbetween CBD and Dandenong, but I am open for suggestions! Thanks!

We’re a Swedish couple, taking a break from the Swedish cold for a couple of months! We’re very easy going and want to get to know Melbourne everyday life and culture. Frida, 25, has a working holiday visa and will be working in retail or restaurant. She’s also applying for architecture school in Stockholm and will be working on the admission test in Melbourne. Benjamin, 32, has taken time off from work as graphic designer and project manager in the tech business, to focus on personal startups and to get a nice break from ten years in employment. He will attend tech meet ups, work on personal projects, and do touristy things during the stay.
