Hello, My name is Marine. I am french, from Paris, I have lived in Germany and China (Shangai) and love travelling. I will arrive in Melbourne for the first time in April and will stay for around a year (I will work as IT project manager). I like cooking, chatting, travelling around and old books. If I had been at Hogward, I would have been a Hufflepuff. I am open as for the location of the flat ! Would like a furnished room.
Hello there! I am looking for a place to stay for a long period of time. My name is Alicia, I am 23 and I am from Malaysian. I am going to be working full-time at the city starting this mid-April. I prefer a place that is at a walking distance to the public transport (preferably a train station). I am super friendly and easy to get along with and also respect other people's need for their personal space. I also like a clean space and we do not like dramas.
Hi! My names Emma and I'm a Chef. I'm currently working in Crown and looking for a place to live in close proximity. I've lived in Melbourne for about 6 months and have done so with the generosity of friends letting me stay with them. But it is time for me to fly the coupe and find my own place My work hours can be hectic. Morning shifts start at 7am and night shifts finish at midnight, meaning, if I do a double shift, I basically don't exist for the day. Sometimes I do go out after work, depending on my shift the next day so I could be getting home at very, very late hours. I do drive and have a car, so parking is ideal. I don't mind onstreet parking but off street is preffered. I barely use it now, just on my weekends to visit my grandparents in Bendigo. I eat out quite a lot. Melbourne has so much to offer! I'm always down for making new friends to try out all these new places with. I can be very shy and quiet at first but I'm a very happy and voiced person once I'm comfortable which can take me anywhere between a week and a month, it also depends on the personality of the individual as well. I don't drink very often and I barely get drunk when I do. I am a smoker but I have etiquette and manners so I am not messy and don't leave butts or ash everywhere. If there's anything else you'd like to know, send me a message and I'll happily respond! My preffered move date is set to May 22nd as I am away from May 12-21st but am happy to move to the right place earlier!
Hi I'm Isabella :) I'm 19 and am currently studying Journalism at RMIT University. I work part time at Woolworths (4 days a week) and study the rest of the week. I'm a quiet and neat person that likes staying in, watching movies and studying. I like to exercise and write in my free time as-well as visiting Perth occasionally to see my family. I am out most days so would be out of your hair if needed and can accomodate to most requirements :)
Hey! I'm Adrian, 22, an international student from Mexico coming to study at the Melb Uni for 6 months. I'm a pretty chill, polite, and friendly dude looking for a good, tidy, and social place to live in my stay. I'm really excited to meet the Australian customs and live new experiences, so keep in touch!
I am a very easy going person and responsible with the payments. I need accomodation for a long stay but I would like to find a place with all english speakers. Looking for a private room, I prefer a big house with many people living in it, all with young spirit and interest in sharing experiences.
I'm Japanese who is seeking a share room. I'm tidy, easygoing, optimistic and cat person:) I prefer to share with another person (it means a room for 2 person) and who isn't from same country to use English.
Hi there, First, thanks for looking at my profile. Please read carefully before contacting me. My lease ended at the end of March and am looking to start a new one on 29th April or thereabout. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD free tram zone or Southbank. I have been sharing rental apartments with flatmates for a while now. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. I do my own cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment should be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Very easy-going, from UK, friendly, resepectful clean and tidy. Like to travel, meet new people, cook, studied environmental science so very involved in environmental conservation, love reading, writing, animals. Will be working full time as a receptionist with early starts, late evenings and weekends so won't be around too much. Moving to Melbourne on 10th May, (coming down on the 26th for 2 nights for viewings) looking for 5-6 months stay in a private double room, not too fussed where as long as it's close to transport links to CBD.
Hi my name is Leo (24). I recently graduated from uni and decided to move to Melbourne! I do web development so I spend a lot of my time on the computer, but I definitely enjoy the occasional social gathering. I am active, I like to go hiking and play sports. I love to cook and eat healthy. I am also very interested in the arts, so I often go to events around town. I'm available to move in as soon as possible.
Hello,I am Sky,looking for a room close to tram or train station to Brunswick. I work fulltime 9 to 5,friendly and considerate for every flatmates as we share the home sweet home together. Would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself!
Seeking a private room with ensuite. Preferably off street / garage parking. Im generally pretty clean, respectful of others, enjoy my own space, as well as hanging out with my future roomies. I work fulltime and either like going to the gym, crashing and watch trash tv, game a little, or go to the pub after work. I dont smoke or take drugs. Drink socially. Not sure what else to write, happy to answer any questions.
Hey! I've recently moved here from New Zealand, and I'm looking for a great flat to settled into life in Melbourne. I work full-time Monday to Friday in Southbank so I'm pretty busy during the week, but I'm always keen to do something over the weekend. In my spare time, I like playing soccer, going out for coffee and cooking. I'm a tidy, easy going person who is always keen to lend a hand around the flat!
I'm a human rights attorney, currently on sabbatical. I spent February in Melbourne and March in Hawaii. I'm considering spending a few months Australia. I'm pretty flexible on the where, so long as the place gets little to no street noise. I'm originally from Dallas, Texas, USA but Portland, Oregon has been home since 1991. I'm editing a book while on sabbatical, and I have a few active human rights cases on appeal, but my stay in Australia will mainly involve plenty of long walks while trying to ignore US politics. I usually stay in AirBnBs when traveling, but renting makes a lot more sense for this longer stay. I'm aiming for 3 to 6 months this round, more or less. I'm considerate of your space and privacy; I expect the same in return. I anticipate a trip or two to Tazmania and/or New Zealand this trip. I can't live with a cigarette smoker, no matter how sweet and bubbly the personality. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Be well. Sean
Hey Guys! I'm not a fan of writing a load of bullshit so ill just get down to the main point. I need to save up a lot of money. So I need a good base with good people and a cool vibe but not a party house if I can help it, (although i can sleep through an earthquake), its more the temptation to get smashed that worries me :) Also a house that would have people willing to show me round a bit, bars/best work places etc would be amazing and ill love you forever. I'm a 24 year old photographer from Manchester, UK. Very sociable and love a good chill as well as a good drink! Currently in New Zealand working as a receptionist at a hostel which is hopefully what ill be able to find in Melbourne. Ill be finding work as soon as I arrive because I really do need to get saving, ill definitely have at least 4 weeks of rent when I arrive anyway. Rest assured that my rent will be paid on time and ill probably just be going to work and the gym in the week and probably most weekends too. Love cooking and happy to cook a meal for us all, will always get involved and wont just hide in my room the whole time. So, yeah hope you like the sound of that. Thanks Bex
