I have lived in share houses/apartments for 4 years and still am friends with most of my previous roomies. I am clean but not a neat freak, I like a beer/wine or two but don't get drunk, I am a quiet person but don't mind the occasional chat, in general I am pretty chilled. I work in IT and a lot of my interests are around technology. I recently moved from Sydney for work. I have travelled all around the world and hoping to travel more in the near future!
Hi everyone. I'm a trustworthy, independent and respectful 37yo professional female arriving in Melbourne soon (date to be confirmed). I've lived with plenty of flatmates, both here and during two career stints overseas. I work in healthcare, not a party animal, very low maintenance to live with and I'm into a healthy, active lifestyle. My hours are 9-5 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. * Furnished room * INSIDE the city grid * Close to gyms * Open to all genders but prefer my own ensuite if with guys (apologies) * And of course, lovely new flatmates! I'm super clean, reliable with rent, non-drinking (allergic, but not fussed if you do), non-smoking, bit of nerd, cluey in general, great for silly or serious chats and great at being invisible too when I'm binge-watching documentaries. Please note: I'm looking for a flatmate who is also the lease holder and physically LIVING in the apartment. If you are an external owner/sub-lettor, please kindly scroll over. Good luck everyone!
i'm an italian living here since few years, i'm studying and working in hospitality so as all the hospo worker, i'm never home. looking for a room just for me, i can't share anymore, feel too old.
I am a friendly, easy-going, tidy and a very hardworking guy. I work in the hospitality industry as a Head Chef. I love to go out to the cinemas, watch a movie or Netflix drama. I go out for coffee, food or a social drink. I have traveled extensively, am knowledgeable of the world, like current affairs and speak several languages. Originally born in Chile, I have lived in Australia for more than forty years. I like to take a run most mornings on the beach or perhaps ride my bike.

We both like to go out, but enjoy a quit evening with a good movie at home as well. We love good food and music and meeting new people. Sebastian is a chef and is planning to work in that position in Melbourne. I, Gina, am a studied kindergarten teacher, but I would like to work in a cafe or as a nanny, too. We hope to find a nice place to stay in a vibrant district of Melbourne and amazing sharemate/s who maybe want to explore and enjoy the city with us.

Hi mates, We're a couple who's looking for a flat-share or house-share. A bit about me, I have been living one year in Queensland and now I'm a student in Greenwich English College until January 2018 and then at Monash university for 5 years (Clayton Campus). I am also doing a lot of sports and dance. My boyfriend, 25, Jason, is just arriving in Melbourne to work first and then to study Logistics. We're working most of the time, easy going, clean, friendly and quite even though we enjoy having a drink on the weekends. We're looking for a private double room for at least 9 months lease - fully furnished will be a must. Let us know if you'd like more information about us! Cheers :-)
Im a part-time visual arts student looking for a small self contained flat or studio space close to transport into the city. Im quiet and self dependant, not a partier at all, I work hard to support myself but right now I'm commuting back and forth between Melbourne and Rural Victoria, which is a difficult task, and I would like to relocate permanently. My move date Isn't set in stone but i would like to be living in Melbourne as soon as possible.
Hey, what's up? My name is Till, I'm an easy going, laid back, no drama kind of guy from Germany. I work full time in advertising as a content manager and will be in Melbourne to do so for 6 Months, starting May 1st. I love to dance (anywhere, anytime) and get out as much as possible, but I also enjoy a lazy night on the couch watching a show or a movie as well from time to time. I'm not too bad of a cook, however, I can never seem to get the portions right and always cook way too much. Since I'll only bring over 2 backpacks from Germany, it would be great if there'd at least be a mattress in my room or if you could help me get one. All in all I'm not looking for a mansion, but rather an affordable place to hit the hay and to have a good time in Melbourne. I don't consider myself a neatfreak, but I am obviously clean and reasonably tidy. Also, of course, I'm respectful to any nationalities, skin colours, sexual preferences, people's need for privacy and houserules. Hit me up if that sounds good to you, and I'm sure we'll figure something out! With regards, Till P.S.: don't worry too much about the districts I have selected – if I can get from your place to Cremorne in under or roughly one hour by public transport, that's fine.
Hello, my name is Christine from Canada. I am looking for a place to live for the next few months as I am here on a working holiday. I am pretty easygoing but quiet and respectful of other peoples space. I enjoy watching movies, exploring the area, and really love coffee. I am currently looking for work but hope not for long! I am hoping to find a place close to a train station or tram, somewhere pretty accessible to other areas.
I'm Dylan, 29 and I'm working full time as a web developer. I love being outside when the sun is out, I love bars & craft beers, I like coffee, a little bit of live music, Seinfeld, and love socialising with my housemates when the stars align. I also like to pay my bills on time and keep the kitchen neat and I've got a tonne of share housing experience. I'm pretty average at describing myself so it's probably better to meet me in person!
Hi there, Im looking for a private room to rent long term from 26th march. I like to keep myself busy all the time. I work 5 days a week in hospitality and the weekends i like to spend my time at beaches to relax and enjoy the sun. I play soccer competitively, and I also enjoy other sports. I'm a big fan of coffee and could probably make you the best coffee you've ever had.
Hey I'm Casey, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Perth to study journalism at La Trobe, Bundoora and I'm looking for somewhere to live close to Uni. Pretty happy to keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for a chat and a glass of wine after a long day. I'm pretty relaxed and love to cook, I'm clean and tidy and I think I would be a great addition to your household :)
My name is Malin Gelfgren, 19 years old from Umeå in Sweden. Me and some friends have travelled the east coast and now I want to end my trip were it started, in Melbourne! I am a energetic, positive person who loves to laugh. My spare time is mostly spent with my friends, maybe going out for coffee, go dancing or just watching a movie, eating candy and talking. I also like to exercise, especially to run. I am very responsible and trustworthy, I will keep the place clean and in order. I would also describe myself as a sociable and kind person who is easy to get along with, so hopefully could I be a great company aswell!
Hi! I'm a bright, bubbly 24 year old looking to live closer to work (Melbourne CBD and inner/fringe suburbs). I love to talk, laugh, sing, watch a LOT of Netflix, sleep and eat my entire body weight in food. I'm a OCD neat freak who's constantly cleaning so I'd like to find someone like minded. I love yoga and barre and everything in between (except running). With me occasionally will come my partner, and I like to be fair and pay my share as and when its required. I work full time Monday to Friday so there's no issues with not paying rent and bills on time.
Hi guys! My name is Georgia and myself and a friend are flying to Melbourne from Cairns for a Peking Duk Concert in April. My friends name is Kristyn and we are both 20 years old. We would like to rent a room as close to Melbourne city as possible from the 21st - 24th April (Friday night - Monday midday). Simply put we are just trying to save money on accommodation. We are both extremely respectful and polite. As this is our first time in Melbourne, we will be exploring most of the day and only coming back for a place to sleep, shower and get ready to go out. A little more about us... Georgia: Works at Suncorp Bank as a consultant full-time. Kristyn: Works at a mill as a receptionist and at uni studying business and accounting. We are negotiable with a price and would love to hear back from you as soon as possible as we want to get this sorted!
Hey everyone, Chun Sang here (or CS, it rolls off the tongue much more easily)! From Singapore, 27 turning 28. Currently working as an admin officer at Monash Uni at St Kilda Road. I like the occasional drink or two. A cafe run wouldn't hurt either (I like my coffee, good or bad ones). Binges too much on movies, tv shows and netflix sometimes. Oh, huge soccer fan too #GGMU. Overall, I'd say i'm relatively clean and tidy (I try to clean my apartment every weekend), pretty chill, respects your personal space, and would like to meet and hang out with some potential awesome housemates. Let me know if you think i'd be good for ya!

I am open to pets.( Love animals) If you'd like to contact me send an email here :) Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Mourya

I'm extremely laid back and from time to time I can be a great adviser and problem solver. I am Jonathan, 19 years old and from germany. I am in Melbourne, because of an Internship at Siemens and currently looking for an accommodation for the next 6 Weeks. I like to do a lot of Sports, like Tennis, Soccer or Gym. I would describe myself as very easy-going, friendly and I considerate other people's space and privacy. I'm tidy and clean up after myself.
Hi Flatmates, Making the big move to Melbourne from Sydney due to a new job opportunity. As a BDM, most of my time during business hours will be spent in the office or on the road. Within Sydney I have lived by myself and with housemates so I know how to clean after myself and respect other people's boundaries. I would generally keep to myself during the week but am always open for light drinks on the weekend. I've listed my preferred length of stay as 2 months however this will very likely be extended. Happy for you to contact me further should you have any further questions. Cheers, Michael
Very easy going with a lot of experience living in shared houses. Loves a good movie and a drink on the weekend. Looking for movie fans who try new things in this great city. Very accepting of any lifestyle or differences. Pretty generic stuff - but I'm actually an O.K guy. Any questions, just shoot. Also if you support Donald Trump, it's a deal-breaker
Ok.. What makes me great to live with? I have a female samoyed small/medium sized dog which basically means you get to live with me AND a small polar bear. (Toilet trained/doesn't chew). I'm a real estate agent and work 6 days a week selling property. If you want a roommate who keeps to herself then great, I'll buy a tv for my room and that's where I'll be (I'm also a gamer so yes I can be quiet) If you want a roommate who gets involved in roommate activities then also great as I do like socialising. I clean up after myself so tidy common areas is a must. I'm very easy going, my dog does follow me inside and outside but as stated before - toilet trained and doesn't chew. I would prefer a shared house that is LGBT+ friendly please. If you have an issue with that then you will have an issue with me.
I’m a physics student here at the uni of melb and I’ve just moved interstate from the Gold Coast in Queensland. I’m 21 and I study a lot but I love having a good laugh and being social at home. Music is a big passion of mine so if we have that in common I’m sure we’d get along. I was living in share houses back home for the last couple of years in Queensland so I’m not afraid of pitching in with housework and I understand the etiquette associated with living in a house with multiple people.
Hi there, I am seeking a non-shared room, asap. Coming from Mildura, some work lined up. Preferably within 20kms of city. -Close to transport a must though!-no car. I am quiet, clean, reliable and very easy going. I would be out and about most days. ($150 p/w inc. bills max) All offers/replies appreciated...Thanks ;)
I'm laid-back, sociable, and into most things - tv, film, sports, books, travelling, animals.... and on and on and on. I'm moving to Melbourne at the start of April for a full time job in the publishing industry and I'm very keen to find a place to live! I am tidy, happy to cook and clean, and enjoy my own space - but I'm always happy for house hang-outs and a few drinks when it all works out. I've got a few friends in Melbourne so I won't be a home body and I'm very flexible when it comes to arranging the minor details. There's the possibility that I may be able to move in with a friend at the end of May/start of June which is why I've set my 'stay' to 3 months, however if I settle in a great place with awesome housemates, this may not be necessary. I'll be working in the Docklands so ideally I'm looking for something within 30 minutes on public transport (although I may bring my car), so I'm open to all areas in and around Melbourne. Please get in touch if you have any questions!
I'm from country Victoria starting my full time diploma in massage. Still living in Lakes Entrance and currently travelling to school weekly. Will be looking for a job within the hospitality industry (around 30 + a week). I am a very easy going person. Looking to have a good friendship with my flatmate.
We have both just moved from the UK and are looking for a place to live in Melbourne. Both have lived in rented accommodation before and are clean, respectful of people and tidy! Both social but not party animals, looking for a nice place to live and call home for a few months whilst we are working.
Hey flatmates, Don't be fooled by the baby face, I'm a 24 year old graduate from the UK with a masters in civil engineering. I've just moved to Melbourne after traveling for a year and am looking for a new place to call home. I'm working full time in Fed Square and Southbank and hope to become a permanent resident in Australia. I like a clean, respectful and quiet home but I'm always available for a cheese board and a bottle of wine. I enjoy cooking, sport, and love meeting new people. Whenever I have time I like to go out and explore, take in some culture or bask in the sunshine. Looking for like minded roommates that are easy to get on with and respect privacy. Any questions then please don't hesitate to get in touch, look forward to hearing from you. Benedict
Hello potential roomies! My name is Zanna and I have recently moved from Canada to Melbourne. Now your first reaction may be "oh god, not another backpacker", but that is definitely not me. I did not come to Australia to backpack, but to live (although I don't yet know for how long). And because I have come to live I am looking for a place to call home, where I can make great friends, relax and have drinks with the roommates, and just enjoy a typical Aussie lifestyle. I am an outgoing and genuinely happy person with a bubbly personality who is always keen to go on adventures and meet new people. I have been living in Melbourne for almost two months with a friend of mine that I met in South Africa. I am currently working at a cute little cafe in Sandringham and work between 30-40 hours a week. I am also actively looking for more professional work in the legal field as I am a recent graduate from Carleton Uni in Ottawa. I am quite an independent person and like to do my own thing, but also love to come together for dinner and socialise with my roommates and friends. I am very excited about the next stage of my journey in Melbourne and look forward to getting to know you all soon. Please let me know if you would like any further information about me or my future plans. Thanks!!
Hi there.. My names Chris . I'am 34 years of age . I work full time . Non smoker who doesn't mind if you do . Though I don't mind socialising on occasion, I tend be quite reserved so if you're looking for somone quite, clean and respectful please do not hesitate to contact me .
We are Emma (24) and Craig (24) both from sunny Glasgow, Scotland and having recently graduated from university, decided to up sticks and move down under. (we plan to be in Melbourne for the next 6-12 months) We are easy-going, sociable people keen to explore Melbourne and get to know what it has to offer. We are house trained, can keep a flat clean and tidy and we both love a glass of wine/night out now and again but are not the 4am party every weekend type. We also both love animals and would be more than happy to share a home with any number of four legged creatures.
