My friend and I are looking for a place to live for the next 6 months! We're both Americans who moved to Australia and want to be close-ish to the city. We'll both be working full time but love to go out and be social in our down time!
Hey there future housemates! I'm Charli- a 21 year old vego who's looking to move closer to the city! Up until now I was doing a degree in plant biology/linguistics and working on the side, but I'm taking a year or few off from uni to work full time. I work at Dangerfield (which of course means I have a snazzy wardrobe you can share, as well as a mammoth CD/book collection, if we're talking about cool things you might like to borrow. I also come with fancy pots and pans, a bright yellow toaster, a guitar, an easel and a PS4, a big beanbag, among other things). Also, I've lived out of home for over a year now, so I have a rental history and all that jazz. When I'm not working, you can usually find me seeing local bands (Old Bar, anyone?), perusing market stalls, playing guitar and singing (badly-ish), embroidering, binge watching TV shows (any it's always sunny fans?), or cooking up a storm in the kitchen (if there are other mouths to feed, that is. I won't lie, I definitely eat mi goreng and chocolate for dinner sometimes). I'm a super hygienic person so I'd really like to find housemates who like living in a clean house. Like, if you need a cleaning roster to remind you to wipe down the benches we probably won't get along haha. I like buying fresh flowers and having pretty tea towels and nice teas on display, so I'd love to live with people who get around that. I'm by no means a neat freak, creative chaos is good from time to time, but I want my house to feel like a home <3 I really want to be living with people who I can hang out with from time to time, too. We don't have to be best buddies, but I'd really appreciate having people to jam with, cook/bake for sometimes, or just watch stand up on netflix with over a cocktail or a nice cider. Not opposed to singstar competitions/karaoke. I'd really like to be living within walking distance to one of the train stations I've mentioned in my profile, too. Convenient public transport is a big priority for me. I'd also like to live reasonably close to a grocery store if that's not asking too much. I think that about covers everything! If you have any questions, or more importantly think I'd be a good fit in your home, please don't hesitate to send me a message! xx
Hello, I'm a 33 year old professional who works in Heath Care. I'm hoping to find a house with beautiful people who appreciate simplicity, kindness and generosity. I've been in Melbourne for about 5 years now and keep discovering new things about this city. I work a regular 9-5 shift and like to relax at home most weekdays. This includes indulging in conversation about the world, bingeing on an interesting TV show or cooking up some ethnic food. My interests include world cinema, I'm always looking forward to different film festivals. Multi culture, we have to consider us lucky to be in a city that offers so much diversity, this includes trying different restaurants and cuisines. I'm guilty of traveling hours to sample new foods (Afghan in Dandenong). I don't drink and party as I much as i used to but more then happy to socializes with my housemates as i find myself more comfortable in intimate group settings. I'm not a big fan of sports and would rather spend my time reading, gardening or traveling Ideally I'm looking for a house/ apartment in the inner north (I fell in love with this area a few years back) Northcote, Thornbury, Clifton Hill, Westgarth, Brunswick East with 1/2 people. I offer my future housemates respect, kindness and consideration, I'm fairly low maintenance and pull my weight when it comes to tidying up or contributing to group dynamics. I would like to write more about myself but i rather meet over coffee/chai to tell you more about my life. This feels like a dating profile without the actual dating :) Please feel free to contact me for more details Peace Saqib

Hey there my name is Heath, a 24-year-old student nearing the end of my Law studies. I am looking for others to share an apartment in the city with me. I could move into other people's existing share house or join a new team-up looking for a new lease. I would even be open to going in with others to purchase an apartment. A little about me: apart from the law, I have a firm interest in entrepreneurialism and appreciate others who share an internal drive to do better and be better. This might sound a little intense, but I assure you that I am a very easy going kinda guy and basically just appreciate anyone who brings a positive attitude and lives life with gratitude. I have a genuine interest in others and loves meeting new people. I'm super cool because I enjoy hobbies like running, cooking and bantering my way to quality time with friends and family. I also have a passion for finding the best deals, wherever they may be, so I can definitely help you out next time you need a new laptop, team couch, or want to challenge your last phone bill. I have extensive sharehouse experience, having recently lived in Kew, and having used share accommodation when I studied overseas for 2 years. Moreover, as a money savy individual, I will always have the requisite funds to pay for my stay in the amazing abode we shall choose.

Not looking for anywhere until September 29th. Work full time as a Manager at a retail store. Very outgoing and friendly. Also lived out of home for 7 years so incredibly tidy. I'm wanting to live with some new friends that are similar to myself who enjoy socialising but can also appreciate a quiet environment when need be. I'd love living with some Aussies in their 20's who enjoy life. I have a full house of brand new modern IKEA style furniture in storage if needed but also happy to just rent an unfurnished room if it's meant to be.

I'm a Visual/Fine Arts student who has transferred to Melbourne from the University of Western Australia, planning to start studying Semester 2, 2017. I love Melbourne's focus on art and believe it will be beneficial for me in the future. I am Singaporean-born but have lived most of my life in Australia. I love animals of all types, and drawing them, as well as being sociable and spending time with friends, whether it be video-gaming (can provide a PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch), going out, or even just sharing a meal. I'm a big pop-culture fan and do enjoy a good film occasionally. ;) I am a responsible, outgoing, tidy and clean person and am incredibly excited beginning a life in Melbourne!! I'm currently residing in Melbourne, however will need to move out on/by August 11-12th, 2017 as the place I am in, I'm only staying temporarily. :)
I'm a 24 year old law student from South Africa starting a Masters at the University of Melbourne. In my spare time I love to read and watch movies. I'm interested in a quiet space where I'll be able to work but I'm also keen to hang out with the people I'm living with.

Abit more about me I'm from New Zealand and moved here to Australia by myself two years ago. I'm clean and tidy and love to cook when I'm at home and I love to entertain by playing my guitar and singing. Some of my hobbies include surfing, dancing, singing, playing guitar, reading and writing. I'm also very into my fitness and health. I'm currently looking for a new more suitable place for myself but in saying that I'm in no big rush to find a new place and will gladly take my time in finding the right one :) I also understand that I am abit young but I have been looking after myself and have been paying rent and bills for the past two years. I am reliable and consistent and am very mature for my age.
Imagine living in the same house with the Prime Minister of a country! Attending international events, being featured on the news and generally living the high life. Well unfortunately you wont get that with me, I'm just a regular guy looking for a fresh start in Melbourne. I'm Sociable, did my fair share of partying in my early days but got too old for that now, my career is what I'm focusing on. To me home is my sanctuary and not a party place but I do appreciate the occasional wild night. I'm clean, tidy and good company. When I'm home I usually spend my time reading/working or socialising but I never say no to a drink and love a good night out, I prefer flatmates who lead an extremely social and active lifestyle; going out, festivals, camping trips.. etc. just keep the vibe going. Above all I like a decent chat with some scotch (or wine if you prefer) where we discuss something like politics, economics or world events.
Hey what's up everyone, I'm looking for a cool place in the Melbourne CBD, single room in an apartment. Love to chat and I can come by anytime as I live in the CBD atm! If this sounds like you, shoot me a message and we can chat! Cheers, Jay Some info about me: I study at swinburne for my business degree, have travelled around europe and lived in netherlands for 4 months. I dj casually, train muay thai, like to socialise and check out interesting events going around melbourne! .
I am reliable and considerate, quiet and cooperative. I enjoy the company of others, at the same time I like my personal space. I am easy going and a good listener. I am not wasteful but I do not leave waste around the house. I turn on the fan when I cook so food odours do not linger on our clothes and bedding. I make sure electrical applicances are turned off before I leave the house to prevent a fire hazard. If and when you have any concerns or problems, I appreciate talking about them with you to eliminate any misunderstanding and work things out so we can live happily and comfortably.
