I consider myself easy going, sociable and helpful around the house. I am a full time student at Melbourne Uni and I work part-time on weekends (25 hours).
Hi, I am a friendly single woman. I am easy to get along with and can be super chatty and enjoy watching a movie or cooking dinner with my flat mates every now and then but I also have a busy schedule so I come and go a lot and I spend more time in my room then anywhere else in the house. I am very clean and clean up after myself as I go. I enjoy going to the gym, going for walks or moderate hikes and catching up with friends. I do have two beautiful cats that are inside/outside cats. They are both house trained and spend most days outside and sleep inside at night. I'm looking for someone friendly and tidy that enjoys socializing but does not have anything too loud happening during week nights after 11pm.
Hello, This is Alec, a full-time RMIT student from Taiwan. not a English speaker:p I'm sure I'm a friendly and a tidy person. I would really love to having activities with people, sometimes personal space is also needed. I love movies, art, music, and beer is always welcome:) If theres a place near uni it would be great.
Hi, Sydney girl just moved to Melbs. Full time working professional that likes a wine on the couch at the end of a work day and to watch some QandA or cricket or even some sneaky trash tv. Quite laid back but like to live quite clean. Out most weekends and some weeknights.
Hi :) I’m looking for a room to rent, I have no specific requirement about the place but I don’t want to be too far away from CBD. I am a friendly and respectful person, tidy and (very) clean roommate, and a funny and loyal friend. I like being outside exploring the city and wandering in the city when I’m not at work, I go to the gym everyday for ~2 hours, so when I go back home I like having a chat around a good healthy meal and watching a movie. Not really into going out every Friday night but I enjoy having one or two drinks with people I appreciate to create memories :)
Relocating to Sydney or Melbourne due to work. Yet to decide company offer. Currently living in Adelaide. Im in the field Hospitality Operation Manager. My work is highly demanding. So like to come home relax & unwind on the days I work. On RDO days happy to mingle & socialise. Very much a foodie. Don’t ask me to cook, as I most likely destroy the kitchen, if not give u food poisioning. :P most likely eat takeout most nights if not work food. I am very easy going professional. Would like to balance working & social life in a new state. Will not be relocating until early April.
I am a Swiss professional about to move to Melbourne for some years, working in business consulting. I am reliable and pay my bills on time, I am reasonably clean (home trained by previous relationships…), am outgoing, sociable and open, but like to have some down time sometimes too. In my free time I like to be active and do a lot of sports, like gym, running, skiing in winter, possibly surfing in summer and baseball. On the weekends I like to go for a drink or two, hunt for the latest craft beers and go to all kind of events. Possible as well well for shorter time frame, like a few months...
Hey there ! I am a 24 year old IT engineer and I work full-time in the CBD. It's been great fun and I would like to stay in this area ! I am looking for a place to stay with my own room, a private bathroom would be amazing. I am clean, tidy and not much bothers me. I have been living in share accommodations for a few years so I know how it goes :) During my free time, I love going out to socialise and discover what Melbourne has to offer ! Do not hesitate to contact me for more details !
I'm pretty relaxed, organised, reliable and really care about living in a tidy and clean home. I love meeting new people but am not big on living in a party house. I'm mostly looking for a quiet place to live as I'm moving out of a very noisy apartment in the CBD! ---- What I am looking for in a property (After wading through the jungle that is Melbourne real estate for 11 years, my needs have become very specific ;) 1) Split heating/cooling 2) Double glazing/a quiet location 3) 1/2 hour train/tram into the city, or a 1/2 hour walk to South Melbourne Market 4) Somewhere well built where the neighbors can't be heard 5) Away from noisy main streets or high enough that it doesn't matter 6) Somewhere with modern fixtures that make the apartment easy to keep clean 7) Own/Ensuite Bathroom for each of us 8) Bedrooms that don't share walls. --- What I am hoping for in a flatmate 1) Someone who understands I'm looking for a quiet and relaxing living space 2) Someone who is okay with me being up at 6AM and leaving for work by 6:30AM 3) Someone who cares about keeping a neat, clean and tidy house 4) Someone who is willing to be reliable with rent payments and helping with any repairs/issues that might arise with the property over time 5) Someone who is cool with agreeing on house rules to follow to keep things civil 6) Someone who doesn't mind that I have living room furniture (couch and dining table, washing machine and fridge) that I want to move into the apt. (If you have a better fridge than I do though, I'm willing to leave mine behind!) 7) No couples or pets, please and thank you :) --- A bit more about me: I'm a 30-year-old Graphic Designer from Melbourne who works full time in South Melbourne, Monday to Friday from around 7AM - 5/6PM. I love food, films and checking out exhibitions, talks and local festivals around the city during the week. If I am at home, I'm usually taking it easy or working on my own design projects.
I'm a full time international student from Korea and I'm doing Bachelor of Science in University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a furnished modern apartment room near Unimelb/city. I'm outgoing, respectful, clean and really chill so feel free to contact me!
Hi there! My name is Michela, and I'm a 23-year-old psychology graduate with dual Italian-British citizenship. I will be coming to Melbourne on a working holiday visa at the start of April, and I'm looking to share a house or flat with other young professionals. I am a clean and tidy person, and I enjoy sharing a meal or having a chat in the evening, but also value my own quiet time. I like the occasional night out, but wouldn't describe myself as a party girl - my hobbies are reading, binge-watching TV shows, photography and travelling - I'm hoping to get a job as a travel agent while I'm there. I'm a non-smoker, I don't have children and I don't have pets, although I would love to have a cat or dog in the house. I can also make homemade pizza, and many other delicious Italian dishes. Drop me a message if you think you'd enjoy living with me!
Hey there! My name is Sydney, I’m 20 years old and just moved to Melbourne from Canada. I work in hospitality, and have been a waitress full time for almost 3 years back home. I have been working in Melbourne now for about a month. I am a happy, social, clean person. I love to spend time outside, and can’t get enough of this sun! Definitely beats the -40 weather we have back home. I like to read, write, do yoga, bike. If it sounds like we would hit it off, send me a message!
I'm a happy, positive, mature, very easy to get along with professional, sociable but love quiet time out at home, to relax after work. I do shiftwork in a hospital emergency department (admin, not a nurse, lol). My shifts are mostly late starts, late finishes so looking for somewhere fairly quiet, close to public transport and safe to get around in at night. My children are all adults and totally independent, I'm currently single so enjoy a fairly full-on social life outside my work hours. I love walking & my gym is a dance venue, preferably with a live band. I'm currently working on building up my brand ambassador work and blogging so my mind is often on overdrive. I'm your typical Aquarian-on-the-cusp-of-pisces type.... I currently have an 11yo Abyssinian cat and would like to keep her, but am willing to re-house her if necessary.
Hey - I'm a full time artist currently living in my art studio in Nth Melbourne. I am tidy, friendly and honest. I'm a fan of using good old fashioned communication as a way to fix problems if any arise, and it's worked wonders in the past. I like to chat, connect, have a glass of wine with housemates but just as happy to hang out by myself. I have my 4 yr old son Willem 3-4 nights a week, and so will need to be a child friendly household (even though he talks like a 14 year old, and thinks he is too!). He is a super cool cat and he knows boundaries and personal space. We're a happy little pair, and so if you like kids or you have some, let's chat!
French guy Working in building Quiet at home afterhours weekdays, away most weekends. Easy to live with. I have a work friend (Hugo, 20y), he is also looking for a room with the same budget, ideally we'd like to move together.
25 year old working full time. My length of stay is 6 months minumum. I am clean, respectful of others and their belongings. During the duration of my stay, I will bide by rules, put in my due and do my best to get along with others. I work during the day, so on weekdays I will only be home at night. On the weekend, I may be home... sometimes, depending what I have planned. If I do live with others, I am hoping to be with some respectful and like minded people like me.
My name is Gabriel from Brazil. I'm a calm man who's studying business and working full time. I am a very easy going person, almost nothing bothers me, I'm sociable and also have manners and common sense. Looking forward to meeting my housemate/s.
