23 year old student studying film full time and looking for shared accomodation. After a place within 40 minutes of the city with easy access to public transport as my campus is in South Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean and tidy, friendly and quiet (except for when I'm practicing guitar).
I'm easygoing and funny girl. Like to talk at evenings about anything without any taboos. I can cook, I'm not the best in it but you'll love me to do it for you and just sit at the table. I'm really tidy as well (but in my car 😉) and will clean the place if this time you cook for me 😜 I like watching movies or listening music, having a drink together or just go outsite for a walk, and I love exchange about experiences we all had
Hi there! We are a friendly and polite professional couple looking for a room close to public transport for 4-6 months. We work long hours so if you're looking for a couple that aren't home a great deal, then we are the flat mates for you! We are extremely polite and friendly, but do not party. We are low maintenance and don't have much stuff, and we don't take up much space in the fridge! We also have a rabbit named Henry and we will need somewhere to put his cage- just on a balcony or outside is fine. He is very well behaved- you won't even know he is there. He loves cuddles and you are welcome to snuggle him anytime at all! We just signed up to Flatmates.com.au and are ready to move in TODAY! Looking for a room that is under $250 per week, including bills. We can't wait to hear from you! Many thanks, Madeline and Carey :)
Looking for a room around Melbourne. My partner works full time, about 20 minutes West of Melbourne. I study full time in Caulfield and hold permanent part time position. We live a healthy and active lifestyle but definitely love a relaxed day off. We completed schooling in 2015 in Brisbane and have been working in Victoria for the past year. Looking to move anytime between Feb 13th and the end of Feb. Will negotiate if necessary. Contact me if you believe we may be suitable housemates :)
Hello all! My name is Iruka (29) and I'm a Spanish/Japanese English teacher living in Byron Bay atm. Because of visa restrictions, I can't work for more than 6months in each place, so I'll move to Melbourne at the end of the month. I am a chilled person, clean and respectful but also enjoy fun/social moments with flatmates! Let me know if you're keen to meet me :) See ya! Iruka
Hi!! I'm a 24-year-old international student from Spain. I have moved on my own to Melbourne to study English and work part time until June. I'm friendly, clean and tidy. I'm a bit sportive and interested in arts and culture. I don't smoke and I like having small talks at home but I'm quiet and considered with my mates so we all need our own time and space. I am quiet, friendly, considered, sociable and interested in different cultures. I also like sharing part of my spear time with other people, family or friends while doing activities or haveing a drink. I have my own single bed, a small table and a mirror, everything can be sold or packed under another bed very easily. In what food is concerned I am very flexible, I like almost everything but it is true that sometimes can be better to organise it separately.
We are currently looking for a place to stay. We are easy going, very chatty and friendly and love like to go out. We reapect your privacy and can be quiet if needed (examas whatever) Martin is a plumber, I am a waitress. We are organised and clean and we looove pancakes. We would love to hear from you! Martin and Marta!
Hi, my name is Rachel I am from Brighton in the U.K. I'm looking for a room for 2 months from the 25/1/2017. I am a clean friendly traveler I'm very sociable but like to keep myself to myself. I like going out and going to the beach. I am a fun easygoing laid back person. Let me know if you have a room to offer. Thanks Rachel :)
We're both recent graduates from the UK looking to move into one of the central suburbs of Melbourne. We'd love to have housemates we could chill out and enjoy a drink with in the evenings but will mostly be out either working or exploring the city during the days so we won't take up too much space. We're both well house trained and have a Netflix account to sweeten the deal.
2 guys from England looking to stay in Melbourne for 2 months (possibly longer) during our working holiday after travelling SEAsia. Lovers of sport and have been keen to check out Oz for years now. Looking to work in cocktail bars during our stay and will be nice to live in an area for a little while and gain some decent mates too! Very clean and tidy people looking for a chilled place rather than a party house, around $200 each. Both love to cook and are more than happy for group dinners of an evening. If anyone fancies teaming up to get a better place for five or so then give us a shout! Will be nice to find somewhere close to town and a gym wouldn't go a miss.
Looking for a new adventure and to meet new people! Outgoing, friendly, love playing soccer and going to the gym. I am a clean and tidy person, I don't like living in an unclean environment. Non-smoker.
Hi! My name is Laura (26) an outgoing, sarcastic and easy to get excited Dutchie looking to start a new life in Melbourne far away from windmills and wooden shoes. I love red wine, wondering around town, books, sketching, family guy, movies, music (soft spot for soul), live bands in bars, running, david attenborough, snowboarding, motorbikes and conversations that pass the limits of time. I'm currently having multiple job interviews planned so I hope on getting a fulltime job soon but until than I'm already able to move into an appartment. Am I the roomie you're looking for? Than don't hesitate to contact me for a meetup! Cheers! Laura Ps. I'm carrying around a bottle of rum from Thailand that is meant for sharing on the first day i move in to a new place.. (Just so you know;))

We can inspect your place anytime and available to make a contract in advance anytime. Our preferences are: - Master bedroom with en-suite (for 2 people) - Studio apartment (for 2 people) - 1 or 2 bedroom apartment/house - Close to a train station - Caulfield, Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Oakleigh, Clayton, CBD Our budget is 1150$ per month including all bills (negotiable depending on the property). Thanks a lot! :)
I'm here from Canada for the trimester on exchange at the Deakin Burwood campus and am looking for a private room in a great furnished place to live! I'm open to meeting new people while I try to keep up with all of the Aussie slang. I can’t promise I won’t say “sorry” or “eh” every other sentence, but I can promise to be a fun housemate! I'm 21 years old in a Communication Studies program. I'd like to think that I'm easy to get along with as I'm a pretty social person but can keep to myself, especially while doing homework and I like to keep the house clean. I'm passionate about wine and cheese nights and do enjoy going out for drinks. While I'm definitely not a gourmet chef, I'll try my best to make a house dinner every now and then. I’ve heard that Melbourne is the hotspot for festivals and cool things to do, and can’t wait to see what the city has to offer. I'm planning to remember the “study” aspect of studying abroad, but I am adventurous and hoping to make the most of my time in Australia. I'm really looking forward to escaping the Canadian winter and cannot wait to make the beach my second home, once I find my first home before the trimester starts. I'll be arriving in the middle of Feb and staying until the middle/end of June. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Hello, I'm a friendly Argentinian guy who has arrived with the Working Holiday Visa and is looking for a place to stay. I'm tidy, clean, and respectful. I love playing music, doing activities outdoor and playing cards or board games. I speak English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Also, I would love to share some "mates" with you, or show you what it taste if you don't know it yet ;)
Hi, Bradley here. Im studying an arts degree at RMIT. I like to produce music on small studio speakers/headphones, read philosophy, psychology, and other cool stuff. I'm from up North NSW and fly up near Fraser Island QLD during semester breaks. I have experience in hospitality so I like to keep clean and tidy, (inc kitchen). Looking forward to hearing from you!
We respect other people's opinions and needs. We are organised and quiet. We are moving from Paralowie, Adelaide to Melbourne looking for a temporary home while we get jobs and find a home to rent. Baylie loves sport, every kind but especially football and soccer. He's outgoing, funny and very respectful. I, Tahlia love art, dance, and sports. I'm a lot like Baylie (but less funny ahaha) I hope that we can stay with you!
I'm originally from Perth but have been living in Melbourne for the past few years. I'm a respectful, easy going and super clean housemate and am currently studying for the Gamsat/science subjects at uni. I generally keep to myself when I'm home but love to socialise over boardgames (really into 7 Wonders) and food. In my free time I workout, watch a lot of movies (current favourite Arrival) and go to the occasional gig with friends. I also play guitar from time to time to destress and relax. Looking forward to meeting you :)
I would like to live in a clean environment. I am the type of people who stay up late (till 2 a.m.??) and hope that my flatmate will not mind. I like to cook and I am willing to share. P.S. I am an easygoing person who is easy to stay with.
We are two friends who met in student accommodation looking to move out to our own place. We are responsible and respectful individuals who know how to balance fun and work. We enjoy cooking and watching movies as well as going for drinks but also are in third year, therefore need quiet time for studies.
Hello, I am Akshay. I am from India. By profession, I am a Doctor. I will be coming to Australia to pursue higher studies. I have got admission in Monash University for the Master of Public Health course. My classes are scheduled at Alfred hospital in Melbourne. I am very excited to come to Melbourne and explore new opportunities. I am looking forward to make new friends and lasting relationships. I have an elder sister who lives in New York, US with her husband. I have visited New York couple of times and love the city. My parents stay in my hometown, Bhandara in India. They are doctors. I used to have a pet dog (Cleo) with whom I spent a lot of time. Recently, Cleo, because of her old age, is no more but her memories will always be fresh in my mind. I studied in my hometown Bhandara till my high school. Then, I moved to Nagpur city for completing my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course. I have worked in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Maldives for two years after completing my MBBS coursework. As a medical officer in IGMH, I have worked in the departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I used to work in emergency rooms, wards, intensive care units and priority wards. Overall, I got a good work experience in Maldives. Apart from my work, I explored Maldives whenever I got chance. Maldives is blessed with world's most beautiful beaches and resorts. Some of these resorts are only accessible by seaplanes. I visited two of these resorts during my stay in Maldives. In addition, people in Maldives are very friendly, considerate and forthcoming. These are some of the reasons which made my stay in Maldives very enjoyable and memorable. I enjoy playing soccer with my friends. I am very passionate for action packed computer games like Quake 4 and Doom 3 BFG edition. These are my stress busters . I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places. I am planning to arrive Melbourne by second week of February 2017. I believe in mutual understanding between flat mates regarding all matters (paying rents at proper time, maintaining cleanliness, throwing trash, abiding by rules. Etc.). I promise that I will be hassle free, considerate and a good company. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact me Regards, Akshay

Hey guys, my name's Dylan and I'm moving from Newcastle in order to commence study at Melbourne Law School at the start of February. I'm looking for a place to call home in an established sharehouse/flatshare with 1-4 other people, or looking to team up with other like-minded individuals to start a new one. Preferably looking for a place within walking/cycling distance or close to public transport, and would like to be able to move in by the start of February, as my course starts on the 2nd, however am flexible if I cannot move in until later. I am a relatively quiet person, however moving to a new city I am looking forward to embracing new opportunities, meeting new people, and exploring a new environment. I enjoy playing and watching sport, having played tennis for 10 years, as well as working as a coach last year. I am not a massive partier, but do enjoy a few drinks with friends on occasion. Thanks for reading. If you feel like we would be a good match, feel free to hit me up.
Hey everyone :) I'm a student from munich spending a semester abroad at the VU. I’m 21 and studying business administrations in the 6th semester. I’m used to living in a flatshare here in Germany and like it to have people around to hang out, drinking a beer together or just chilling. I’m very much looking forward to meeting new people during my stay and would be glad to find some nice flatmates to start with. :) I’m a very easy going person, tidy, always up for a little adventure but also like relaxed nights with just a movie and pizza. ;) I’d be happy to skype to get to know eachother before I’m arriving on the 2nd of February. I’ll be studying at the City Flinders Campus, so a location in the inner town would be ideal for me. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Jelka
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. I used to be a smoker but I'm not anymore so if anyone smokes it won't bother me, but I don't smoke anymore. (100% honesty?? ok i sometimes allow myself one or two on friday/saturday night if i'm drinking something,but... anyway). if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly! Dario
I'm extremely friendly, outgoing, respectful, clean and I love to do sports. I'm here with a Working Holiday Visa, I'm working and i would like to study to improve my English too. I'm searching forba private room in a shared flat, if you have one free in your flat let me know! :)
I do shift work at a hotel in the CBD part time and study uni full time, so I'll be out (or in front of my computer in my room) a lot... studying Criminal Justice and Japanese. I go to the gym a lot, or just like getting out and being active as long as I'm not working and dont have an assignment due. I just got back from six months in NZ and need accommodating asap. I need to be as close to the cbd as possible, as I'll be going back and forth from work/uni/gym a lot and hate lugging around huge heavy bags all day. Very respectful of others property, and so I expect to find others the same. I like to have a chat, but I also like alone time. I'll tell you exactly what I think - in a good way (no passive aggressive notes) I need public areas like kitchen and lounge to be clean, but your room is your territory. I would really love to get somewhere with an ensuite so I can have my own bathroom. I have furnishings for an entire 2 bedroom unit currently in a melbourne storage shed so if someone wants to find our own place I'm up for that as well. Just message me. I love to have fun, joke around, watch movies, etc. I'm an xbox and pc gamer but I won't hold it against you if you're a p/s kid ;) I'd love it if i could be friends with my housemates as that usually makes everything easier and means we can have pizza and games/netflix nights or whatever. I'm an intersectional feminist and will call you out if you say something shitty (We will be 100% fine unless you're the type of person who uses P/C in a negative context). I'm left wing. I once thought i was buying a pack of 4 mini apple pies but when i got home i realised it was a family one so i tried to eat the whole thing myself.
