"I think the greatest risk of life is life without risks." I gave up nine years of experience in a good job in Ecuador to come to the other side of the world in search of new challenges, friends, culture and ways of thinking. I just finished college. I'm traveling with my cousin brother who just graduated from doctor. We love playing tennis, soccer and golf. We do not like people who smoke but if we share a drink or more. Sometimes we like to party and dance. Well, if you are interested to share with us, let me know. A hug.
Hi there! :-) I am a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Hi! I'm Maciej from Berlin, where I am about to finish my MSc studies. I'm coming to Melbourne on the 3st of November (at 7 a.m.) as I obtained my skilled graduate visa - I'm gonna take this chance to work and live in Australia for 1,5 year at least :) Currently, I'm finishing my MSc thesis. From August, I will be working at the University as a computational BIM analyst for two months (I'm a structural engineer BTW), and I'm starting to make arrangements for Australia (a job and a room)! I am a normal guy to live with, I don't make any problems, and always try to create a positive atmosphere. Besides, I like dancing salsa, playing the guitar and piano, and programming.
This is the third time I try to create an account so it will be short... I come from France for a new job position and according to me the best way to meet new people is to share a flat ! I play football, love going out during the weekend, afterworks, good food, travel, discover new places, spend time with friends. I am a really sociable person and already shared flats in the past : I am clean and respect others privacy (But you'll often see me in the living room, impossible for me to stay stuck in my bedroom) Do not hesitate to contact me if you want to know more about me ! Arriving in Melbourne mid of October, for 2 years minimum
Hello! I am re-locating to Melbourne from Perth in early Sept and am looking for a private room preferably in the CBD area. I will be a full time student for 3 months studying graphic design, and will be out of the house weekdays from 7.30am-5.30pm. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and prefer chilling at home on my off time. I'm very quiet, neat and tidy, friendly, reliable and considerate of others. In my spare time I enjoy reading, brunch and watching TV/films. I am looking to move in by mid-Sept and prefer female roommates only.
My name is Nathan and looking somewhere to call home for 6 months to a year with my partner Sabriena. I'm from Belgium 25y and Sabriena is from Canada 23y, we are friendly travellers with good taste in music and food! Both studying online in ICT and project management and Sabriena is fulltime as a project Admin for Metro Trains. I am singer/guitarist (Acoustic) and Sabriena tells great dad jokes. We aren't huge partiers but enjoy a glass of wine or beer, laid back nights in and well good music. We are also active so we rather go running in the morning then be at a bar at night. Although, one every 2-3 weeks we do indulge in good nights. Goof foods and good beverages.
I am Brazilian working as a real estate agent in Melbourne and my leasing contract will expire and I just need a place to stay for the next 3 months. I am really clean and easygoing person, I spend the all day at work and usually go to bed early.
Yo! My name is Nora and I'm a 23-year-old Swedish girl (with Lebanese roots) who travels the world and have been doing so for the past 4 years. Yes, I started when I was 19 and I've lived on four different continents so far, meaning I'm a nomad hehe. So, this is my year in Australia and I figured I'd spend the last months of my visa in what I've heard is the fantastic city of Melbourne. I work part-time as a freelancer and I'm currently in the Northern Territory working at a station. Since I only own two backpacks I'm looking for a furnished room! If I were to describe myself I'd say that I'm pretty open-minded, super chill about most things, very outgoing and I'd also like to think that I have a great sense of humor too given that I'm not afraid to laugh at my own expense at all! And oh, I'm also tidy and respect other people's space. Just a happy soul to be honest. But I reckon you'll see that for yourselves. :) Big fan of: Beautiful views & the beach - absolutely love to hike and explore Pizza Thursdays - doesn't have to be on Thursdays but hey who doesn't love pizza? FOOD - to further evaluate I LOVE food and everything about it. Buy, cook, fry, eat. You name it. Animals - (seriously if you have a dog in the house I'd gladly walk it!!) Getting creative - writing, painting, listening to all sorts of music, hanging out, (can you tell I'm super keen on living in a share house with a bunch of flat mates or what?) Anyway, if I sound like a cool enough person to live with don't be afraid to hit me up - I can guarantee I'd make a great roomie!
Looking for team-ups only as I have everything required to set up a new flat; all you'll need is your own bed! Ideally looking for somewhere in the pocket surrounding the Botanic Gardens - I have my eye on some buildings in Cremorne if there are still apartments available - and would love a pool in the complex if possible. Two bathrooms are a necessity, and I also have a car (for now) so a place to park it is also ideal. I am flexible on move dates, as I haven't given notice where I am currently living. Just putting the feelers out to see if I can find a like (enough) minded individual to sign a lease with. I love being active; bouldering and walking around town are all I need. I love going to the movies, watching episodes of TV shows I've seen a million times, and am always trying out a new hobby or activity. I bake and cook, I clean, I will respect your space and your property and expect the same in return. I enjoy time to myself, but I'm also keen to make a new friend and share some meals and drinks throughout the week. I really want to put down roots, so please only contact if you're looking for a long term lease. Tell me a bit about yourself!
*** I DO NOT SMOKE AND WOULD LIKE TO LIVE W SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T*** I am a bubbly, social conversationalist; I have lived and worked in several countries, Australia being my 5th home. I love to laugh and talk about lotsa things - politics, development, startups, travel, charity. In my private time I like to day dream about new ideas and create change. I love sports and like to take big walks. I have two beautiful, mixed race boys who mainly live with their mother at the mo, one is 8 the other 3.5. My big boy is a Hawks fun; the little one a Bull Dogs fun; I am fun of both teams obviously but my real heart is w Arsenal - 20 years in a row. Isn't that true of all Africans? lol - I am pure Aussie. I used to live in leafy Eltham and ran my own business. I am now separated and single and recently sold our property. I am looking for new life and challenges; I am currently working on two start-up ideas and want to be closer to the city. I love to solve BIG PROBLEMS and call myself an entreprenuer. Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.
About me: I'm in the second year of my science degree at Melbourne Uni (majoring in physiology). I'm easygoing & friendly - not a huge party animal by any means but don't mind the occasional night out 🎉 I do like to get out and explore Melbourne since I'm not from here but I'm just as happy to be on the couch watching Seinfeld (or The Bachelor... or something less embarrassing like the footy #dons). I love animals so no worries if you have pets! Current situation: I am a student but I've taken this semester off as I've just gotten back from Europe. I'm currently living at home in Ballarat but I'm looking to move to Melbourne so next semester is easier - I've been going between the two cities for the past year and it gets really tiresome. Send me a message if it sounds like I'd be a good fit at your place! 👍🏻
Hey hey, I'm a 19yr student studying Medicine at Unimelb and working part time. Recently moved to Melbourne from Brissy so hope to make some good mates out of this. I'm very tidy, very clean and easy to get along with. Always down for a good chat and love to get a bit banter going. Always keen to go out with mates, but also enjoy a night in watching movies. Looking to get into running/going to the gym if you're into that. In terms of living situations, I'd be looking to share a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for approx. 12 months and would be able to move in ASAP. Look forward to hearing from you guys.
Hi guys, I am Jay and I am looking for a stay with my friend Akash for a longer period. We are currently sharing the same flat in Southbank, lease ends soon so looking for options. We are friendly, young and clean party lovers. Also, we work hard ;)
