Hello everyone! I am Leonard from Singapore I’d decided to quit my job in the aviation industry in to experience how it’s like to live and work in Australia. I would be arriving at Melbourne during September 2018 under a working holiday scheme. I am looking to rent a Private room (preferably with bathroom) in a shared accommodation during my stay. I have a huge interest in sharing and exploring cultures, humble, organised and friendly and looking for like minded mates! My hobbies include travelling, backpacking, trekking, cooking, reading & watching movies. I am open minded and always strive to understand and compromise people in their opinions. I also do enjoy having nice cocktails during weekends. I understand that my arrival date is still premature, hence, it’s difficult to commit a deal right way, but for those who happen to have a vacancy in September, It would be nice for us to keep in touch and make an opportunity for us to be future flatmates! Once committed, I would be considering for a longer stay in Melbourne as it’s my favourite city after exploring various Australian states. Please don’t not hesitate to DM me for details. =)
I’m from Thailand. I was a System Engineer for 5 years’ experience. I’m going to MEL for study IELTS/EAP to prepare for master in the next coming year. I study IELTS/EAP in the morning and do part-time job 4 days a week in the evening till late night. I'd say that I'm always not at home. I consider my self easy going. Very clean and tidy, also down-to-earth. Openminded to learn international cultures and languages. I'm not fluent speaking English but I understand clearly at most times. We can be co-traveller, unless you want me to :) My hobby is taking photograph, you will get some pretty shot from me in return. I’m a sport lover. Love yoga and tennis ,even for outdoor activity. Can definitely catch up for a conversation during meals or my spare time. I like trying good food, good coffee and grab couple glasses of wine at bar.
I am a recent Environmental Science PhD graduate, working full-time in the environment industry. I am looking to live with and meet new people with similar interests, since I will have recently moved from the U.K. to be closer to my partner who lives in Shepparton. Although I will go up to Shepparton on occasional weekends, I am looking to build a life in Melbourne outside of this. I love running, camping and basically anything out-doors. I'm super laid back and not looking for a party house, but I do enjoy going out for food and drinks in the evenings and weekends (especially brunch). I'm healthy, love to cook and am clean and tidy.
Hi! My name's Brianna Bambery, thanks for checking out my personal listing! A little bit about me: I'm from Adelaide, and have lived there my whole life until just recently. Currently relocating to Melbourne to be closer to my family but also to help assist with my studies. I am currently studying an online course while looking for a Full Time/Part Time Job. I'm quite a fun, and friendly person to be around with, a little bit shy at first but that goes away very quickly. My real passions sit in Music, Art and Drama. I love to cook, garden, relax and watch movies and TV. I also love to go out from time to time to have a drink, and to explore for new restaurants, new bars and new cafe spaces. I'm a very tidy person, I don't focus very well when there's mess around, so that's a plus! Once I finish my University studies, I hope to become a Primary School Teacher, and hope to teach Music.
British couple moving to Melbourne, initially on a Working Holiday Visa but will be working towards getting something more substantial, will be working throughout the year. We're very up for having a good time & will keep your place nice & clean (also, don't worry about PDA, not our style).
Good Day :-) ! My name is Marine, 32 year old French architect designer, multimedia artist, dancer & singer. Speak fluent English, Spanish, decent German, Lao, basic Thai, Dutch & Italian notions. I am here since 4 months after living 7 years in Asia with 5 years in Laos, and before I lived 3 years in the Netherlands. Extremely passionate with music, from Soul Funk Afrobeat Reggae Dub Persian Psy Rock Oldies, Jazz, Worldwide, to 80s dark/cold/no wave, Hip-Hop (Old and new skoolz), Techno (electronica/ melodica/ minimal/ dark), and lyrical/Classical. My motto is Freestyle in the kitchen (everyday fusion cuisine experiments, mostly vegetarian, still eat meat or fish like 4 times a month max) and on the mic' or the dance floor (I got the Funk) when I go out to jams gigs or clubs. If I like to go out when I feel like, I also enjoy living in a quiet/peaceful home, and simple occasional gathering with few friends for a drink or dinner. I am very clean & tidy, respectful of a place rules and housemates living in, and reliable to pay the bills. I work part time as in the process of redoing my professional portfolio to enter an architecture office and hopefully get a sponsorship, I came with really decent savings that I live on, I pay my bills on time without issues . Hope to hear from you and be able to visit soon Have a Nice Day 🙂
I'm 19 years old, I live in Brisbane at the moment and I got offered a job in Melbourne, planning to move as soon as possible. I'm friendly. I'm pretty much a neat freak, you don't have to worry about a messy house. I'm outgoinggg, I respect the privacy of others and I can be a lott of fun, we could literally be best friend in under 4 hours. :)

We are a French couple working in hospitality and we just arrived in Melbourne few days ago. We are easy going, tidy and we enjoy food and beverage, we enjoy life !! 😊 As we will be working long hours we are looking for a quiet (but not dead) place to stay. If you are interested in our profile let us know 😉
Hi, my cousin and I are looking for a room for both of us, preferably in FITZROY, CITY, ST KILDA OR BRUNSWICK. I study at night and work in the day, he works every day. We seek a quiet environment, in balance, where things work without forcing them. We are organized, cooperative, very calm. We are looking for a large space, in the abovementioned locations, a room to share both.
I'm pretty relaxed, organised, reliable and really care about living in a tidy and clean home. I love meeting new people but am not big on living in a party house. I'm mostly looking for a quiet place to live as I'm moving out of a very noisy apartment in the CBD! ---- What I am looking for in a property (After wading through the jungle that is Melbourne real estate for 11 years, my needs have become very specific ;) 1) Split heating/cooling 2) Double glazing/a quiet location 3) 1/2 hour train/tram into the city, or a 1/2 hour walk to South Melbourne Market 4) Somewhere well built where the neighbors can't be heard 5) Away from noisy main streets or high enough that it doesn't matter 6) Somewhere with modern fixtures that make the apartment easy to keep clean 7) Own/Ensuite Bathroom for each of us 8) Bedrooms that don't share walls. --- What I am hoping for in a flatmate 1) Someone who understands I'm looking for a quiet and relaxing living space 2) Someone who is okay with me being up at 6AM and leaving for work by 6:30AM 3) Someone who cares about keeping a neat, clean and tidy house 4) Someone who is willing to be reliable with rent payments and helping with any repairs/issues that might arise with the property over time 5) Someone who is cool with agreeing on house rules to follow to keep things civil 6) Someone who doesn't mind that I have living room furniture (couch and dining table, washing machine and fridge) that I want to move into the apt. (If you have a better fridge than I do though, I'm willing to leave mine behind!) 7) No couples or pets, please and thank you :) --- A bit more about me: I'm a 30-year-old Graphic Designer from Melbourne who works full time in South Melbourne, Monday to Friday from around 7AM - 5/6PM. I love food, films and checking out exhibitions, talks and local festivals around the city during the week. If I am at home, I'm usually taking it easy or working on my own design projects.
We are a young Swedish couple on working holiday visas. Both are hospitality workers, and we are looking to stay in Melbourne about six months, maybe more. In our free time we like to go to the gym, go for walks, and of course stay in and just relax. We are clean, friendly, easy going and open minded, sociable but also like to keep to ourselves. We enjoy grabbing a beer or two but prefer our home to be a non party house.
I am honest and responsable, I am here to study english for 6 month. I like to live in clean places so I am very careful when leave the kitchen to be sure that all is good. I don't smoke and I like to chat with other people to practice my english.
I am full of love. I go well with alot of people. I have alot of experience living in groups and definitely prefer it. I also love to play music, exploring nature and to socialise. I love to cook. I intend to be out of the home most of the time. This trip is the best thing ever for me and I will spread that vibration! Law of attraction is in full effect.
28, female, from England. I'm super friendly, respectable and extremely house proud (so very clean!). I have a science based background in terms of work and I enjoy long walks in nature, fitness and eating well. I also enjoy eating and drinking out on occasion and a cosy night in with a film and cup of tea!
