I'm Will and I'm from the UK. I'm on my second working holiday visa and before I came back to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Mathematics student from the University of Wollongong in NSW looking for temporary summer accommodation while I undertake a summer scholarship program/internship at Peter Mac Cancer Research Centre for 6 weeks from January 2018. I'm seeking a nicely furnished room with ensuite or own bathroom in a shared house with up to 3 females. I'm looking for a homely environment as opposed to a party house. I'm enthusiastic, energetic and friendly. I like to think that I'm clean and tidy, but I can't really prove that on the internet. I love relaxing at home on the weekends (with the internet) but I'm also excited to explore much of what Melbourne has to offer (like a tourist) since I'm interstate. I generally keep to myself but I'm also up for chats and for going to the movies with friends. I respect other people's privacy as I love my alone time. I also have severe food allergies to many foods, so I would prefer to have roommates who understand and know how to handle that, but this is not necessary. It basically means that I'll be cooking most nights, use my own cutlery/cooking utensils/pans/cleaning supplies/toiletries at all times and that I'll be cleaning my own dishes even in the morning after breakfast before work. Please message me for more details if you are interested. I can start renting from middle of December onward, but I would prefer to start renting a room from 27th December 2017.
Hey there, I am an outgoing, yet respectful mid 20's gal! After working in the Canberra public service for three years, I've decided to have a quarter life century crisis and move to Melbourne to undertake postgrad study in Journalism. I lived in a large share house for 18 months and previously house sat many places so am experienced in (and really enjoy) living with other, similar minded people. Am looking to find a home in a new or established share house. I love a good glass of wine, great food and a chat about life/the universe/anything. Hoping to find somewhere by mid February at the latest. As I will be studying, ideally my room will have space for a desk. A car space is also preferable. I can contribute some furniture/appliances (or not) depending on what is needed. Look forward to chatting with you! Cheers
Hey guys! I'm looking to share a place with an awesome, easygoing person not too far from the city and uni. I'm currently doing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Melbourne Uni, as well as part time work to make sure I pay the bills on time! In my down time, I enjoy binging shows on Netflix, making the most of our kitchen, and keeping fit and healthy.
Hi Me and my friend we looking for a nice room to stay in CBD. Acually we are staying with our parents atm but our house a bit far from the city. We deciding to find a room to stay when we tired to back home and when we want to hang out. We will stay in our parents house mostly and in the room we finding we might be there 3-4 days/week or 4-5hours/day for take some rest then we might back home.😅 And no worries we always pay rent on time, we would like to share electric bill in 50/50 with yours and want to stay for long term. We both are polite, responsible, clean, friendly, drinking and party (I mean in the club not in the room😅) but sometime we are introvert. And we are looking for someone who open mind, chill, not sweat the small stuff, and respect in our space. We both are Thai girls by the way. 😊 Feel free to text us if you like Thai food. 😜
Both my friend and I are business owners and hard working people, we are looking to move to Melbourne from Port Macquarie. We are both neat and tidy, well respectable young men. We are easy to communicate with and are very welcoming people!
Hey guys! :) I'm Sarah, 19 (will be 20 in Feb) and am a visual arts student. I'm from a lil country called Brunei and am half Australian! :D Have been living out of home for about a year, i'm pretty chill and super respectful of space and privacy, but also love having a chat and a laugh. I think i'm super easy to get along with. I'm very friendly, easy going and always up to go and explore or do something (however i do love some alone time to recharge hehe). I'm all about them good vibes~ In my free time i love to watch movies, game, paint, have the occasional smoke and boogie. Not much of a clean freak, so i don't mind a bit a mess, but obviously respect when people clean up after themselves. I'm unemployed, but will always pay on time :)
what makes me great to live with? well hi my name's Megan, right now I'm doing the design degree in unimelb aiming to be an architect, so I'm gonna be a pretty busy person. I love to read and have a nice cup of tea to chill out a bit, big fan of chocolate, can cook for myself and am willing to do so for others (my boyfriend says I'm alright). Other than that I'm quiet, easy-going and am willing to listen and get along with everyone whose around.
I am very easy going and adapt to most living situations. I am tidy and very respectful of those I share space with. Great at communicating, not passive aggressive, light hearted. I am going to be spending the next 2 years in Melbourne for grad school so would like to find amazing roommates and have one less thing to stress over. Open to short and long term situations.

Hi 👋 I’m Cristina and me and my friends are international students working part time, one graduating soon to work full time and one working full time. We’re a respectful, clean and wholesome group. We are foodies, love to watch movies and discover new places in Melbourne and meet new friends. Hoping to find a nice cozy, safe and affordable place near public transport and shops that we could call our home for the long haul. Thanks.
We are a young couple 22 & 24 from the UK, who have both recently graduated from uni and are now currently enjoying a year out exploring Australia on a working holiday visa. We have been in Australia since April, having spent time in Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns. We are now looking to finish the rest of our few months working in Melbourne before we travel to SE Asia. We are looking for a house that is up for a chat and a few drinks after work and on weekends but not a party house. We respect each others own space. We are excited to explore all that Melbourne has to offer!
Hi other Flatmates users! I am interested in starting a team up between myself and a few other nice, outgoing females (aged 18-26) to look into getting our own (relatively cheap) place together and to set it up the way we would like to! I will be moving from Wagga Wagga, NSW to Melbourne around that start of January next year to study a Bachelor of Fashion Design! I’ve had a few offers just figuring out where I would like to study. Looking for some girls who are like minded, either studying or working (or both!) to move in with around that time. I am extremely keen on setting up our own place and making it ours rather than going into someone else’s home, who I wouldn’t know and to feel uncomfortable living under their roof and using their things. I have already got a fridge, washing machine, outdoor setting, kitchen utensils and some appliances and cookware. A little bit more about me... I am an 18 (nearly 19) yr old girl who loves to chill, do regular exercise, I cook and clean around the house all the time and like to socialise with friends as well as get a bit arty and do some painting in the evenings and on weekends too. I also am working flat out full time atm trying to save as much money as I can right now to move and to be able to set myself up in a place I can call my home! Please let me know if you’re interested. I would love to have a chat and see where things could go! Thank you :)))
I'm Alex, 29 years old and from Germany. I'm looking for a nice place in Melbourne for the next couple months. My plan is to work full time. I'm a open minded friendly person. I'm also really clean, reliable and trust worthy and I'm good to be on my own but I also enjoy to meet people. I love cooking, food in general, wine, good Bars and Restaurants and for sure the Beach!
I'm a 26 traveller from Taiwan. I'm tidy person and always keep the place nice and neat. Love music and social life, used to be a vocalist in a band back to Taiwan. Into hard-rock, post-rock, metal...etc. But don't worry, I won't burst up the house by my personal music preference. I'm also enjoy my personal time. I travelled from Brisbane to Melbourne and trying to get a job around CBD that can allow me to explore the city more. Very interested in the area like Collingwood, Fitzroy, and Brunswick. Especially the graffiti, the antique style, Baroque building. Kent is 26 years old from Philippines, just landed Australia last week. Used to be the chef back in his country. Also a clean and tidy person that always make the place neat! I'm looking for a place to stay around CBD, where has good transportation. Within 30 mins travelling time to CBD is my first priority.
