Hi, I am Hugo a Dutch guy who is going to enjoy Melbourne during my semester aboard. I am studying full-time Design at the RMIT I am looking for a room close to the RMIT city campus, preferably private, until the end of November. Back at home I Kayak weekly, likes to go to a nice terrace and likes to watch a movie so now and then. I am Always in to eat together or to hang out with my house-mates. I am an easy going social person who is used to living in a shared house. I try to keep it clean and tidy and hope my housemates will be too. Hope to hear from you soon!
We are two young adults who are looking to find a place to stay while working part-time and looking for full-time work. We are both very friendly people who love making new friends. We are clean, tidy and respectful.
Recent communication/media graduate currently working part-time in retail and looking for full-time work. Really into music, art, pop culture and politics but enjoy socialising over everything from drinks on the town to grabbing tickets to a game or event or just a movie night in. I have a choice collection of cookbooks that started when I was 3 and continues to grow and grew up with multiple pets in the household at all times so adore lil fur babies. Also looking to live more environmentally conscious if that is also your jam.
English Fine Art exchange student from London looking for a place to live for the next six months. Yeh im British so I am overly polite and always friendly.. plus respectful Ideally searching for people to share the rent on a flat/house whatever Like to socialise and have a laugh, going to the pub or something more chilled like a movie are top draw. Already love this city so am keen to add another facet of a calm living experience to that. Would hate to fork out bare money by going in for uni accommodation, its just not right
Hey, I’m an American from Atlanta, Georgia heading to Australia this August to spend a year in Melbourne on a Work and Holiday Visa. I plan on working wherever I can find a decent job, and I also want to do graphic design/art on the side. Im very interested in art, music, and fashion. I’m looking for a roommate that likes to socialize because I’m moving to Australia without any friends or family, and would like to be friends with my roommate. I’m not picky about where I would live in the Melbourne area. My only requirement for the location is that it has to have easy access to public transportation. My flight to Melbourne arrives on August 14th, but I plan on staying in a hostel for the first couple weeks to meet/find roommates and look at potential properties. Feel free to message me with any questions!
Hey potential housemates 🌞 I’m a friendly creative soul looking for a homely home to move into sometime between the 21st of June and the 12th of August . I don’t really mind what suburb it is in as long at its north side, under $180 per week and less than a 40 minute commute to Melbourne uni by public transport :) I will always chip in with housework, pall bills on time and respect personal space 🌈 I’m also very left wing so it would be nice to move into a house with like minded individuals . If I sound like the right gal for you hit me up ☺️ Lots of love Momo xxx
I am a 37 year old divorced woman with no children who is currently on the disability pension, which pays $926 per fortnight. I can afford to pay $100 - $150 per week in rent. Location: Pretty much anywhere within walking distance of a train station. I do have a car, but being close to the train station is just better. I can provide character references. Available to move in immediately. ******** I spend most of the day at the library studying business, finance, economics and accounting. I actually have a PhD in mathematics and computer science, so I am somewhat of a braniac. If you have a low IQ then we might not get along. I don't smoke or take drugs. I have traveled the world and speak three languages: English, French and Thai. I am Jewish, so if you hate Israel then we might not get along either. Otherwise I am quite flexible with who I am willing to share with. Male or female, old or young, religious or non-religious, sexually liberal or sexually conservative. Frugal or extravagant lifestyle. Asian, black, white, eskimo, whatever. Professionals, students, self-employed. I don't care. Even if you are a bona-fide alien from outer space, I won't ask too many questions. So long as rent is getting paid on time and the house is basically clean. If you're a Marxist who wants to destroy capitalism and overthrow the government, or a "greenie" with Compulsive Recycling Disorder, who thinks that the world is about to end from climate change. Or you believe that Trump is "literally Hitler". Then we probably won't get along. Otherwise I'm not that interested in politics. Actually, I despise politics. To be slightly more accurate. As far as the kitchen goes: I would be interested in sharing a meal once a week, to also catch up on any "household business", such as bills, housework and general complaints against each other. But otherwise I prefer to eat alone, and mostly keep to myself. I need space in the freezer because I pre-cook my meals and then freeze them. I don't watch TV. I'm not interested in any kind of "arrangement". Also, I can't share with anyone who has untreated addiction or mental health issues. Thanks. And look forward to meeting you soon.
