I currently am working at a fabric store in port Melbourne and make festival costumes. I study full time at RMIT architecture and am currently taking a gap year. I’m a sociable person who loves the company of older mature people and am a middle child to an older sister and a younger brother. I am clean and tidy, and will respect our space we live in with keeping things clean
Hi there, I'm a full time architecture student from Canada studying at unimelb. Looking for a place close-ish to campus with a cool group of people. I always pay rent and clean up after myself. I love getting to know people over a beer. Drop me a message if you have a room available or are looking to group up :)
I currently live in Tasmania but feel now after some unfortunate events over the past two years that it is my time to leave. I currently work in aged care as an ECA and wish to continue this when I arrive, I’m thinking I might also study but unsure of this at the present time. I’m looking for a place I can come home and relax too, I don’t want a party house and I don’t mind not seeing anyone. I feel home time is for me to shut off and wait for the next day. Sometimes I don’t mind catching up or having a coffee together but either way I don’t mind. A lot of the time I’ll be out exploring Melbourne and making some friends. Now to the things I am looking for; I need a place where I can park my car. The home to not be far from the city and/or a short train/tram ride home, as us Tassie folk feel driving to work for half an hour is hell so I’d like to start off small with my commute. My own private bedroom thats lockable, My own bathroom but okay if I don’t. Oh and one last thing, no matter how little I need to bring I will never leave my best friend Thermomix so hopefully there will be a small place to share her in the kitchen.

I might make some mistakes but am open to rebukes and discussion. Always up for chats but respect your personal space &time as well. Loves cooking and some travelling but at times am lazy too. Message me if you think we might be great housemates! Ps: if you’re an early bird and can’t send message (like me), you can try finding me on Facebook or email me: firstname.lastname@example.org

Hey guys! Currently looking for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, I moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I am a qualified auto tech, currently working in retail and am looking to make a career change into engineering/land surveying this year. I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or two. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. I've lived in sharehouses for years so I know how they operate in terms of cleanliness and general consideration for others. Oh and I pay my rent and bills on time! Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
I’m a quiet, friendly and easy going Irish girl on a working holiday. Looking for a place for 3 months starting January 24th while I work and explore Melbourne.
Hello! My name is Nabila, I'm from Indonesia. I'm currently studying Game Art in Melbourne. I'm looking for someone to share an apartment with or just an apartment close to the city. This wouldn't be my first time sharing a space with someone, so I know how to navigate around a shared space :) A little bit about me- I'm pretty social, but I also like an occasional me-time. I play games a lot, but if you don't like that, I can set my games up in my room :) I'm pretty easy to get along with. I LOVE milk teas/boba, and I'd always say yes to having a boba adventure! I also like to cook and do some occasional baking! I don't mind if you bring lots of friends around. Most important thing: I'm not looking for a party house and NO room sharing.
I am Margherita, Italian, 33 years old. I work full time (photographer and admin for a homewares importer) and I have a permanent visa. I am into everything really, travelling, pottery, cinema, psychology, art, languages, food, comedy, nature ... definitely not a gym girl but I bike ride to work. I have few plants I would like to bring with me, all in pots, they are beautiful and well behaved 😅 I have shared few houses in the last 15 years and I have travelled a fair bit. I am pretty easy to leave with. No smoking. Let me know if you want to know anything else about me. I am free after 6.30 most nights, or during the weekend for inspection. I can move in anytime. Looking for a private room in shared house. (no sharing room). Nice, friendly, clean and respectful housemates happy to go out for a movie or dinner and open to a chat. ( no couples or family) No gender preference. Happy if there are cuddling pets around. Ciao
Hey, we're a young couple moving from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Nico's going into Animation at the Victorian College of the Arts and is a Retail Assistant at Typo and James works in service at Coles. We are a tidy couple that keeps to ourselves but don't mind a bit of a chat and since neither of us drive, parking won't be a necessity. What we do in our spare time is play video games and explore our surroundings, so privacy won't be much of a problem.
Hello! My name is Caroline, I’m 27 and just moved to Melbourne from Vancouver. I enjoy a mix of socializing with housemates and keeping to myself
Hi:)) in early Feb I'm moving down to Melbourne from Far North Coast NSW to study Graphic Design full time. i will also be looking for part-time work once i move down. I'm pretty chill and kinda introverted, i like my own space but love a chat when i get to know people. I'm clean and tidy and respectful of other people and shared spaces. i am vegan but i promise im not going to tell you all about it unless you specifically ask, i'll also never comment on your food choices because i don't care what you eat its your life! :) i'm also lgbt, i don't really drink or smoke but it doesn't bother me if you do. in terms of furniture; i don't have ANY. ideally looking for somewhere fully furnished already. looking for some equally chill ppl to share a place with, or if you've got a listing you'd like me to check out, hit me up!:)
Looking for short term rental that could move into longer term once we have jobs and know what area we want to live in. We are super hard workers, so job hunting should not be a problem. We are clean and respectful.
G'day! I'm moving to Melbourne in Early February 2019 to pursue a manufacturing engineering career with Owens-Illinois. I will be working 7:00-3:30 in Spotswood Mon-Fri, but I may disappear from time to time for work travel. I am interested in joining a sharehouse ($150-225/w) or teaming up with fellow full-time workers and getting a lease on a townhouse (500-600pw split between two or three). I am absolutely comfortable signing onto the lease in the first instance. Please do no contact me unless you can meet the following Non-negotiables: - Private bedroom (with room for a double bed) - Parking option for large 4wd (Can be in a garage, carport or on kerb) - Not a party house Bonus points for: - Unfurnished room - Own bathroom - Dishwater (and any other modern amenities) - Cats/kittens I'm a routine based person - I value exercise; at the gym or otherwise and I prefer to meal-prep a majority of my food for the week. That's not to say I don't enjoy a drink here and there - I worked as a cocktail bartender for close to 2 years so I do indulge from time to time. I keep clean shared spaces and would expect the same from my housemates. While I am often up for a chat over dinner, I don't force the issue and I respect the privacy of others. Also, I eat A LOT of meat - so if you have issues with that... I encourage you look elsewhere (: I love all cats, and I like dogs, so long as they're toilet trained and groomed satisfactorily. Furniture I will be bringing with me to share (will be sold or stored if impractical at eventual accommodation): - Medium fridge - Electric: Coffee machine, banquet pan, Nutri bullet, Rice cooker - Coffee table (White) I also have a relocation package lump sum that can go towards to a mutually beneficial pieces of furniture (yay gumtree). Further, I have a large (65-inch) smart TV that I could possibly put in the common area if it does not fit in my room. My car is highly practical - able to tow and store large items. I enjoy helping out people with it from time to time to move things or, as my sister calls it, "The Hughber" Thanks for taking the time to read. I hope to hear from you (: Cheers, Hugh
Hey I'm Nav! Looking to move to Melb CBD or surrounding suburbs to be closer to work (just started as a Graduate Lawyer). Ideally would like to share a place where we're not just strangers in our own home! I am friendly, respectful and open-minded - I enjoy being social but certainly also respect my flatmates' privacy. I'm always down to chill out, chat and have a drink. Or binge and discuss your favourite TV series. I'm into indoor rock-climbing. I have a bunch of zany board games that always make for a good night. I will also bring my Nintendo Switch if you're ever down for a Smash Bros sesh. :P I consider myself very easy-going and welcoming, so I would like to be in a similar environment! Ready to move asap, but flexible with dates if need be. Thanks! :)
Hi there, I'm Natalie :) I’m 31 years old and set to move to Melbourne in March after accepting an extended contract with my current employer! I am a friendly, outgoing, clean, tidy and respectful housemate – looking to share a place with someone of a similar calibre. I will be working the usual 9 – 5 role in the CBD, and so wanting somewhere in or around this area where I can simply cook breakfast and dinner and relax after work – no partying on weeknights for me! I am looking for a private room with a shared or private bathroom at $300 per week max. including bills. My interests include cooking, reading, Netflix binging and I LOVE animals and nature! Any pets you may have are a bonus for me :) One thing to note is I am a bit of clean freak – I weirdly enjoy cleaning – so equally clean and tidy housemates are essential – if you have OCD even better :D At present I can only commit to a 3 month contract as after this time I may be relocated back to Adelaide. If I could make a friend or two out of this experience that would be awesome also, so please feel free to contact me if you have a room to rent or would perhaps like to ‘buddy up’ and find a home together!
Hi, I’m Raquel, a Spanish girl that is moving to Melbourne, about the middle of January, for a post-doctoral research period at the University of Melbourne. I’m clean, tidy, friendly and good flatmate. I lead a healthy and active lifestyle. I like running, climbing, trekking, dancing, etc., and I love traveling. I’m not looking for a backpacker’s flat. I want to live with professional and settled people. I like making plans with my flatmates but I’m also independent. My plan is to work full time, have a chilled lifestyle. I prefer not having parties at home (in special occasions as birthday parties I’m the first one organizing them). I like good vibes, nice flatmates that make plans together time to time I don’t know what else to write so feel free to contact me if you have any question! I'll be more than happy to talk to you.
My friend Matt and I are currently working with Uber eats and get about 45-50 hours in a week, we like to go out on the weekends whether it’s going to the beach or different bars around the city. We are very friendly and easy to get along with. We would love to get flat mates who are easy going and like having a good time but can also be respectful to everyone in the house.
