Hi! My name is Megah and I'll be moving to Melbourne for work in mid May (currently residing in Sydney). I'm looking for a furnished private room with a parking space (preferably off-street), somewhere within 30 minutes from CBD. I'm easy going and friendly but also respectful of others' personal spaces. For the past 7 years, I've lived in homestays, shared houses, and also on my own. So I'm used to cleaning up after myself and doing house chores. I've also lived with people from different cultures which I really enjoy. I work full time and will probably spend most of my weekends exploring Melbourne (you're welcome to join!). At home, I'm always down for movie nights and catch ups over a meal or drinks.
Hi, currently living in Brisbane and looking to relocate to Melbourne CBD area, no "exact" date as of yet but aiming for end of June/ July possibly sooner if I find something suitable. Would be awesome to find a furnished room to get me started but happy either way for the right place. I am an honest easy going person, I enjoy a very active outdoor lifestyle on my weekends. Currently working full time as a dental assistant in brisbane city. I am respectful of other peoples space and I like to keep to myself most of the time. But in saying that I'm a very open and friendly person.
I'm a Visual/Fine Arts student transferring to a Melbourne university from the University of Western Australia, planning to start studying Semester 2, 2017. I love Melbourne's focus on art and believe it will be beneficial for me in the future. I am Singaporean-born but have lived most of my life in Australia. I love animals of all types, and drawing them, as well as being sociable and spending time with friends, whether it be video-gaming (can provide a PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch), going out, or even just sharing a meal. I'm a big pop-culture fan and do enjoy a good film occasionally. ;) I am a responsible, outgoing, tidy and clean person and am incredibly excited to begin a life in Melbourne!!
Hi guys, my name is Merel (27 y/o) and I'm from the Netherlands. Last summer I graduated from the University of Utrecht (Netherlands) and received my MSc in Educational Sciences. I currently work as "Curriculum design advisor" or "Instructional design advisor" at a Swedisch/Dutch company called "Kunskapsskolan". It's all about personalized learning in secondary schools, in which my role is to advice content developers about how to create online and personalized content. Previously, I've worked as a social worker for people with an acquired brain impairment. I've always loved education; hence, my switch to educational sciences. More about me: I consider myself to be a down-to-earth and easygoing roommate. I like to chat once in a while, but I'm also accustomed to my privacy. I think it's important to be respectful towards roommates, so I'm not someone who makes a lot of noice or makes a mess, and I'd also appreciate if my roommate would do the same. ;) On the 22nd of March, my partner -Damiaan, 26 y/o, Software engineer- and I will be traveling to Melbourne. The first month will entail traveling, which we are very much looking forward to it! We'd like to rent a/one (private, furnitured) room at the end of April. Damiaan is an outgoing, charmful person, if I may say so myself :) Our goal is to live, work and enjoy life in Melbourne for about a year, and then travel to Indonesia and Tokyo before we return to the Netherlands and pick up where we left off. We are looking forward to meet new people (and if it's of any consolation, we have a Netflix and Spotify account!)
Hey All, My name is Alanna i'm 18 years old and i'm looking for a place to stay until February 2018. So to tell you a bit about myself, I'm a friendly relaxed, mostly quiet person who like to keep things tidy. i don't have a problem paying rent, but i'm also looking for a job so i can work on some savings too- just have to work out where i'm living :) on days when i'm not working or studying i'm out visiting friends and family. i'm happy to keep to myself and am respectful of other people's privacy, but i also like to socialize with my housemates as well- just depends on what you are comfortable with. :) i don't have much to move (literally 6 boxes) and am available to move in ASAP. thanks, - Alanna
Hi :) My name is Rhianne and I'm 22 from England currently looking for a room or shareroom in Melbourne CBD. I'm currently working full time and looking for accommodation for 3 months stay. I like living in a clean and tidy home (NON SMOKING) and in my spare time I like exploring the city as I'm a big foodie! I also love an active lifestyle as I swim and enjoy going to different sport matches!
P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hello! I'm JJ, 21. Currently a research student at Melbourne Uni and looking to move. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two (hundred) cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. Ideally I'm looking for people I can talk to and rant about how shitty my day went, not a breathing creature that moves in the house! Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine! (We'll also get along if you eat ice cream in winters and cry watching Digimon ... Or can handle random Mean Girls quotes thrown at you)
I consider myself as a clean and tidy person. I currently living in NZ and will be returning to Melbourne on 2/5/2017. A quantity surveyor by profession. I enjoy cycling and bush walk, but definately not a party person.
Hi I am Tim. I am 21, I work full time and I am completely independent. I like doing my own thing. I have a secure job and have had so for 3 years. I am looking to move out of home and start going out on my home. I am quite social, very easy to get along with. Love the footy, and every other sport. Bit of a bookworm.
Easy to be around since I usually keep to myself and I clean up after my own mess, cleaning is not a problem. I know some basics about cooking and I'm not afraid to try making new dishes. I like to exercise and eat healthy. I'm a very amiable and chill person.
Hello! My name is Kate and my very loving furball (i.e. small fluffy black cat), Smith, and I are looking for a responsible, friendly housemate to cohabitate with. A bit about me: I'm 27 years old, work in digital marketing and am moving to Melbourne (from Brisbane) for work. I enjoy my own space and spend my weekends diving into a good book, binge watching a TV show, blogging or spending time with friends. I consider myself to be quite a minimalist and therefore keep things tidy and orderly (since there is not a whole lot to clean). I currently have an apartment full of furniture (as I have been living on my own in Brisbane) so if teaming up, would be able to move everything down for us. Alternatively, if moving into an already furnished place I'd be happy to sell my items before moving (you can get a sense of my style on my blog/Instagram). I love to cook and am always happy to share the love so if you're a fan of pasta bake, healthy (but delicious) salads, muffins and cakes - then that totally comes with the "Kate" package. Smith is a very friendly and loving cat (loves a couch cuddle), is well trained and mostly just keeps to himself and sleeps all day.
Hey! I've lived with 4 girls the past couple years, so I must be doing something right. I would definitely describe myself as an outgoing introvert! I love to socialize when the time's right and am generally very goofy, but I also love my alone time with Netflix and sweets. I live a pretty active lifestyle- working out often, biking, going on walks, etc. I make it point to keep all common areas clean, for obvious reasons, and I'd hope my roommate would do the same!

We like jolly people and we like outing, dinning and long drive. We prefer north superb, brunswick, st klinda, cbd, or nearby. We would like to live in a house or flat with separate rooms. Hi! My names Emma and I'm a Chef. I'm currently working in Crown and looking for a place to live in close proximity. I've lived in Melbourne for about 6 months and have done so with the generosity of friends letting me stay with them. But it is time for me to fly the coupe and find my own place My work hours can be hectic. Morning shifts start at 7am and night shifts finish at midnight, meaning, if I do a double shift, I basically don't exist for the day. Sometimes I do go out after work, depending on my shift the next day so I could be getting home at very, very late hours. I do drive and have a car, so parking is ideal. I don't mind onstreet parking but off street is preffered. I barely use it now, just on my weekends to visit my grandparents in Bendigo. I eat out quite a lot. Melbourne has so much to offer! I'm always down for making new friends to try out all these new places with. I can be very shy and quiet at first but I'm a very happy and voiced person once I'm comfortable which can take me anywhere between a week and a month, it also depends on the personality of the individual as well. I don't drink very often and I barely get drunk when I do. I am a smoker but I have etiquette and manners so I am not messy and don't leave butts or ash everywhere. If there's anything else you'd like to know, send me a message and I'll happily respond! My preffered move date is set to May 22nd as I am away from May 12-21st but am happy to move to the right place earlier!
Hi I’m Isabelle! I’m 26, have recently moved back to Australia after two years in the UK and am about to start a full-time position in the Melbourne CBD. I’m hoping to find a room in an established flat-share or some like-minded people to team-up with. I’m quiet, super clean and tidy and have flat-shared for several years now and I’m hoping my future flatmates will be also. While I’ll be out of the house most days for work I generally spend weekday evenings at home cooking, reading or catching up on some Netflix. As I’m new to Melbourne I’d love to live with others who are keen to get out and explore the city with me and share the occasional meal or drinks at home, however, I also value my space and will respect yours. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hello , we are now two girls (from taiwan and hongkong) looking for a room, we would like to move in at 13/5/2017 ,stay for 6 weeks or more . We love tidy and very friendly , so if any available please message me , thank you! =]
Hello My name is Angie (32 y.o). I am a biologist and environmental specialist. I have lived in Melb for about 1 year now, studying English and working part time. I'm studying a Diploma at Melbourne Polytechnic (Epping campus). I'm very friendly and social. Like many of us, studying during the day and working at night. But I enjoy the weekends by attending festivals, concerts, beaches, parks, going out for drinks or just staying at home taking a good rest and watching movies. Also, I'm starting to practice yoga and pilates in my spare time and sometimes I join MeetUp groups to have a hike and camping to explore many parks in Victoria. I love to share a dinner, chat and movies from time to time. I'm a really chilled out, easy going, decent, sensible, reasonable and respectful person. I like to keep my house clean and tidy, Non-smoker, and I pay bills and rent on time. I'm looking for a balance between friendship / socialising and mutual respect for space and privacy. I also look for a place where I can feel at home, not just having a room. I'm willing to pay up to $160 per week. Please feel free to message me if you have anything available Cheers!
