Hello all good people out there...I'll be traveling to Melbourne from India to kick start a new life by the first week of feb'19 and looking out for a comfortable accommodation. I'm a software engineer by profession and will be spending my initial time to look out for jobs. As a person, I'm easy going and love to make new friends. Looking for a clean shared apartment preferably with a clean private room anywhere in Melbourne in close proximity to public commute..
Hi! My friend and I are looking for flatmates starting in February. We are easygoing, considerate, fun-loving post-grads from Boston, and we can't wait to soak in the arts scene of Melbourne. We will both be on Working Holiday Visas; Eliza has has a remote job with an educational travel nonprofit, and I will probably work as a barista or something of the like. We both love hiking, playing soccer, and enjoying a nice cup of tea. We are friendly and sociable but also are respectful of personal space and down time. We're searching for some kind souls to share accommodations (and hopefully many memories) with. Can't wait to meet our future flatmates!
I'm a gregarious, respectful, humble and quirky writer committed to my new career (it's been a bit under a year since I made the change). Whilst extroverted, I'm by no means high maintenance or loud. Conversation comes easy to me and I'm interested in other people and the world around me. Overall - I'm a positive, happy, and well-balanced person. My professional life is really interesting and fulfilling and I work in an office (not from home). On weekends, I enjoy discovering new places, writing in cafes, sipping in bars, and listening to bands.
CLEAN, TIDY, RESPECTFUL, CONSIDERATE, TRUSTWORTHY and FRIENDLY. I'm someone who has an OPEN MIND, a FRIENDLY PERSONALITY but likes their own space. I am easy to mingle with , understanding , caring , reasonable to live, kind of a person. I don't go around poking my nose into other people's business , but if anyone needs my help, I'll be there first one to help. I just completed my bachelor of engineering in India and I'm planning to do my masters in UniMelb, Feb 2019 intake. During my free time, I usually hang out with a couple of friends and have some beer and chill, I love watching and playing football. I love socializing and exploring new places.
Hi! My name is Jooyee (or Casia if that's easier). I'm a communication design student graduating around mid December and currently looking for a job. My home country is Singapore and I'm generally friendly, easygoing and tidy but I also enjoy time alone. I've stayed on my own for the past 2.5 years now hence I'm looking to stay with 1 or 2 female house mates for a new experience. Hopefully forge new, pleasant friendships with my new house mates too! I love to do brunch, go to the movies and anything artsy. All 'bout that chill (no party) lifestyle :)
Hi there! I'm a 29-year-old professional wrapping up my PhD and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for new full-time permanent position on St Kilda road. I'm currently looking for a sunny bright room with enough space for a double bed, desk and chair, preferably furnished and preferably with an ensuite, nearby St. Kilda road or close to public transport. I'd also prefer bills to be included in the rent. I'm tidy, hardworking and determined but also friendly and easy going. I've grown up and lived in five countries and I enjoy exploring new places and experiences. I enjoy jogging, swimming, camping, soccer and cycling. I also love cats. While I'll be focused on a new job, that won't stop me from being a social flatmate who is keen to chill out and relax. Always respectful of space and privacy, clean and willing to help out and listen when it's required. I enjoy having a place with the right atmosphere where we eagerly look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day Looking forward to meeting you and checking out the place! :)

Hi We are a responsible, neat and Asian couple looking for a place to stay for a start. We are a couple who is starting over and our first priority is to find our basic needs - stable financial status and a decent living. We don’t argue much, we settle it with talking as much as possible or not inside the house as a respect for our fellow co-tenants. We don't smoke or drink. So if you are worried about the house being smelly or whatnot, we got you! :) So my partner is always overseas (he's on tourist visa) so I am mostly left living by chance. We just really mind our own business. :)
Hi there! My name is Valentin, I am a Computer Science student and Entrepreneur from Paris, France. I enjoy building companies, flying, travelling and meeting new people. I'm currently looking for an accommodation in the Melbourne area for the period December-June. I'm used to living in shared accommodations as this is something I've been doing for about a year already. I am a friendly, clean and respectful person who always try to keep good relationships with his other flatmates. Feel free to send me a message if you have a room available!
I am a tidy individual and make effort to clean up after myself, be considerate and respectful towards others, ensuring I do my best to not be disruptive. My personality is a quiet, friendly, ambivert who is ambitious and motivated having a strong focus on my work and studies. However, I equally take pleasure in downtime and relaxing, enjoying activities such as: reading, going for walks, listening to podcasts whilst colouring in (ore like doodling), visiting park lands, catching up with friends, the occasional cheeky beer, going out for a boogie and watching Netflix whether it's documentaries or comedies. I currently live in Adelaide where I rent my own place, work full time and am a first year Bachelor of Science student at The University of Adelaide (PT). I am planning to move to Melbourne by the end of January and will commence a Cert 4 in hospitality upon arriving (I have already been approved for enrolment as soon as I move) with the goal of working in the hospitality industry until I finish my Bachelor degree at a local University (with a focus on neuroscience, biochemistry or genetics). I am pet friendly having 3 cats of my own here. However, they will NOT be moving with me, instead staying in Adelaide until I have established myself and am able to comfortably move them over to suitable accommodation.
I'm a 25 year old British backpacker, looking to relocate to Melbourne from Brisbane this coming weekend. I've just finished working down in Victoria on a solar farm and looking forward to being back in civilisation! I'm incredibly laid back and easy going, love to socialise, going down to the local, sports, music, and having a few on the weekend! I'm ideally looking for a place with a good atmosphere, as its the people you live with that make the experience. I'm not limited on a 3 month stay, as it very much depends on how things go. I may decide I never want to leave!
I'm a current finance/accounting professional working in Melbourne. I have been in the workforce for more than 5 years. As a housemate, I'm respectful, friendly, clean, pay bill on-time. I would enjoy the casual drinks at home every now and then, I'm not so fussed about noise during the weekend but not too extreme during weekdays. I'm new to Melbourne (been here since Feb) but have been around Australia (living in my property, sharing houses, both males, and females). I'm looking for a housemate/new friend to rent a new 2 bedrooms apartment in the CBD in September.
We are matured couples who are clean, tidy and respectful. We love to travel: Currently traveling and staying in Perth with the help of this site. Expected to arrive in Melbourne on 11 December, flying out on 27 January. We are looking for short term furnished accommodation with PRIVATE/OWN bathroom at min. 7 weeks at the above mentioned period.
Hey there! I'm Ivy, from good ol' Byron Bay on a quest to Melbourne to study my love, Photography, at RMIT in Feb. I am currently studying childcare and working as an assistant educator in a childcare centre (from that fact alone you know i have good patience and am a pro at cleaning up icky things). The things i enjoy when i'm not working or studying are; - going to gigs - reading in parks, or reading in libraries with really comfy chairs - making collages - taking piccies of people (i'll take pics of you if you so wish!), and also taking piccies of the gigs i go to (I run a music blog with my current roommate that i do photos for) - listening to copious amounts of music (psychedelic rock/lofi/dream pop/alt rock is my jam, i can link you some playlists) - cutting my fringe too short - wearing cool hats and a lot of corduroy - watching sitcoms like the office 'n parks and rec, or the occasional terrible rom-com House-mate wise i'm very calm and easygoing, clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I very much enjoy my own space too, i'm a massive introvert so i'll probably spend most of my time at home in my room studying or listening to music. Despite this i'm still always up to hang out and share some tunes or go to a gig with you or something ! Also I currently live with a vegan so i'm used to not cooking or eating meat in the house if that is necessary. I'd love to move into a household with other creative or music/gig lovin' people, but that's not a requirement obviously! I get along with anyone :-) Message me with any more Q's! (or if you want me to link you some playlists) Thanks!
Hello!! My current lease ends in early Jan and I am hoping to find some fun new housemates. I'm currently working in casually retail and studying full time. Which keeps me out of the house most of the week, I am clean, easygoing and love being social. Hoping to find housemates that are likeminded and enjoy a cheeky glass of wine or a movie night.
I've been share housing for many years and much prefer living with others than by myself. I like to have my own space but also socializing with others. Most of the time I'm tidy and keep any mess to my own space. Not looking for a party house but somewhere where people are social and friendly. I'm usually out a few nights of the week and on the weekends doing my hobby which is Salsa and Bachata dancing. As well as a night out for dinner, bars or occasionally clubbing. I also love good coffee.
My name is Jade and I grew up at an international school in Singapore, with South African, American, Australia and Chinese cultural backgrounds. I am starting my Masters of Teaching (Primary) at Melbourne University next year and will get a job in childcare while I study. I'm moving from Sydney where I just finished my undergraduate at Sydney University. I enjoy playing basketball/running, listening to music, reading, playing boardgames, having a drink with friends. Would consider myself a clean, tidy, organised and considerate flatmate. Hope to hear from you soon! :)

Hey! 😊 I’m 26 from England. Currently working in a cafe but looking for a more permanent job in mental health. I’m clean, tidy and respectful. Enjoy chilled nights in watching movies but also love socialising and seeing my friends. I’m flexible on how long I stay - my current visa expires at the end of November 2019 so would be maximum a year at this point but minimum probably 3 months. Really looking forward to meeting new people and having my own room/space 😁 Thanks for reading!
