My name is Tina, I´m from Austria, 36 years old and I will start my PhD studies in Health Sciences at the Peter Doherty Institute of the University of Melbourne in April 2018. For my move to Australia, I search for a temporary-midterm accommodation. I wanted to either rent a fully equipped place for a couple of weeks/months, while searching for a more permanent solution; or possibly find something longterm right in the beginning. I arrive in Melbourne on March 30th. I occasionally cook and bake, and therefore would like the possibility to use a fully equipped kitchen. Some more details about me: I am a non-smoker, have no pets, love biking and I´m very passionate about science (that´s why I´m finally undertaking my PhD studies 😉) I see myself as a very uncomplicated, reliable and somewhat (at least most of the time) organised person 😉 I receive a scholarship from the University, so I will reliably be able to pay the rent. Cheers, Tina
Hi Guys, Kristal and Kellie here, we are both Kiwis and have been best friends for years now! We are looking for two rooms in a share house or a 2brm apartment, both options need to be fully furnished. I am an Executive Assistant relocating from London following my two year working visa there and Kellie is a Cafe Manager relocating from New Zealand for a change of scenery. We both very excited for the new opportunities Melbourne will bring us. We are both easy going, respectful, tidy, ladies - enjoy the odd glass of wine, sports, gym and I love to cook. We are both well and truly over the mad young adult party lifestyle and would much rather a chilled night at a nice bar or on the sofa in PJs or playing board games. Our ideal flatmates would be in a similar space that we are. We are quite flexible on the area we live in but would like to be less than a 45min commute into the CBD if possible.
Hi, I am 20yo and I come from Indonesia. Looking for a room since I will start my uni life on 7th March 2018 in Monash College City. I am a quiet person but friendly with each other and like to be friend with anyone. I am a neat and tidy person.
Im 50+ female, working full time. I am currently in the process of relocating to Melb. As I still have ties in Hobart, Ill often be be away for days at a time. Im easy going, tidy, happy to have a chat or do my own thing. Not after a 'Party House' : ) Im probably more suitable for 40+ bracket regarding flat mates. Allocated parking or plenty of available on street parking would be ideal. As would a private bathroom, however, no issues with sharing. I love animals, therefore, no issues there. I have indicated $200 as my budget, however, I am willing to negotiate with this figure. Look forward to hearing.
I am 23 and have been living in Melbourne for a few months now and am currently looking for a new more permanent place to live. I am currently living in a share house in the city while working at Coles in Fitzroy, which has now allowed me the income to set myself up more permanently in Melbourne. I am a fairly quiet and clean person, i don't smoke and though i tend to keep to myself i do very much enjoy cooking and having a meal/drink whenever there is the chance. My interests include reading, playing games, cooking and playing soccer/futsal.
I am an easy going and down to earth kind of chick - I work full time with a range of different hours per rostered month. I am looking for somewhere closer to Melbourne City as I work in Southbank and would really like to cut my commute down from 50 minutes each way! I love music, animals and enjoy a lot of quiet time (just time to myself!) and also going out with my friends, as my job is full on. I have two rabbits who both have their own hutches and would need some type of backyard (if possible) One of my rabbits is indoors but she is small and quite social and relaxed. I'm looking for like-minded adults who don't mind not seeing their flatmate constantly and who is able to accept two beautiful bunnies (they really are quite sweet and you would not need to care for them in any way at all.) I love to cook, bake, chill with a drink or two and love a good conversation. I'm quite flexible when it comes to arrangements and have my own furniture for a bedroom. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message. Hope to hear from you soon!
Just a guy with positive attitude and comical Spanish accent. Always on the go, saying yes and trying new things! This time, I'm going to study my masters at UniMelb, meaning I'm looking for a place near there. I believe that you can make friends in the strangest and most wonderful places that way. Want to join me?
Hey! 😊 I'm 26, British and have recently come back to Melbourne! I left home last June to pursue my dream to travel and so far have done Asia and the east coast but I would like to settle for a while and Melbourne stole my heart the first time I was here! 😊 Before travelling I worked in primary teaching. I work as a receptionist, this is over 5 days with 3 various shifts including morning, afternoon and evening starts in the city. I love to explore or hit the road for a road trip/beach day - since travelling I've turned into a water baby but I am definitely still a beginner surfer! I love socialising and meeting new people, going to sports events... Pretty much an all rounder! However, I am English and from the north so I do love a good cup of tea and a Netflix binge every now and then! Hostel life has been a fab experience but I would love to have my own room and space now, make new friends/potential housemates and enjoy staying in one place! Ideally I would be looking at 5-6months in an apartment with a private, furnished room and bills included in the rent. My ideal areas are walking distance to the city or a close tram ride - around South Wharf, South Bank, South Yarra, Richmond and possibly Fitzroy/Brunswick
Hello from Pakistan! Coming to Australia for the first time, I will be studying full time at Monash city campus. I do not prefer partying as much, I can be social but also respect ones privacy and would love to help around the house! I am a clean and tidy person, i like living in a laid back environment, little fun on the side, love to watch films, listen to music, can cook some things too. Can’t sit around at one place for too long, I walk a lot, always up for hiking or camping out or playing any sport. I also have a musical instrument (Rabab) of Afghan origin which I play then and now, radiating good vibes only!! 22, straight.
I've been living in the same apartment in the CBD for the past 2 years and I'm looking for a change in environment. I'm working in Camberwell so any of the surrounding suburbs would work for me. I'm looking for a nice place to call home with nice flatmates but most importantly someone who would consider living with a quiet, toilet trained really funny puppy. :)
Hi there. I'm an engineer from Turkey and will be living in Melbourne for 6 months for my language education. I'm a clean and tidy guy and easy to live with and I love listening to music
Im an emotionally mature guy who has (most of) his shit together. Im pretty balanced, i like eating well, yoga , lifting weights, meditation, reading, music, philosophy, and learning stuff. Im open minded, non judgmental and respectful. Im probably around an 8.5 out of 10 when it comes to tindyness and cleaning. Im not really into mundane superficial things, im pretty spiritual, and im passionate about leading a good, balanced, fulfilling life . I have a tattoo, a beard, i like plants, all types of music, and Japanese whiskey. I DJ occasionally, make electronic music, and learn about audio engineering so I can make better more interesting music. Im looking to live with one (or even two) guys/gals probably over 25 who share common interests and values. I enjoy both alone time and being social with housemates. I have some possessions for a sharehouse and im also happy to bankroll some other stuff we might need for the place. I dont have a car anymore so if we live in a place close to the city the park could be yours. I dont watch TV but netflix is cool. I used to have turntables and synthesizers and plants but i had to give them up to move. My favourite bands are Interpol, The National, and The Arcade Fire. My favourite DJs are Maya Jane Coles, Carl Cox, and Sasha. My favourite movies are Fight Club, American Beauty and Back to the Future. I do intermittent fasting most of the week. I have 3 coffees a day. I value honesty, transparency, relationships and communication, growth and open mindedness. Thanks for reading. Have a great day. Regards Rhett

Hi Everyone, I'm Melissa, Melbourne born and raised! I work in the inner suburbs as an Office Manager 9am to 5.30pm, for an Oil company. I've lived in share houses with friends as well as on my own in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland over the years. I love the outdoors, travelling, photography, time out with friends, live music and keeping fit with pilates, gym, hikes, soon adding boxing and spin classes! I am relocating to be closer to work and always in the city / surrounding suburbs socially. (I can't handle the commute to work by car and back forth socially anymore! haha) Looking for a private large bedroom in a shared house or apartment, with car parking, whether off or on street. Preferably with housemates that have good energy, sense of humour, drama free and easy going like me, non-smokers, no drugs, no parties at home and no pets. Within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to trams/train station. Flexible with age from late 20's to early 40's. I would like housemates that I can have the occasional drink, chat and meal with. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, especially a share place available and you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household. Cheers :)
Hey, I'm Emily. I'm level 25, working full-time, lived out of home ~5 years. Gamer, clean and considerate, a bit shy, keep to myself most of the time. Enjoy the occasional night out, metal/rock music. Non smoker (but don't mind if you are), no drugs, happy to share a beer or wine. Leaving my kitties behind unfortunately (with my ex) but love all animals so I'm happy to help looking after others' pets. I do own a horse as well but he's being sold soon. Easy on whereabouts but ideally South/East suburbs, need to drive into South Melbourne for work. Flexible on length of stay as I'm trying to figure out some shit in my life. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Aaand that's me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you!
