I am from India, recently moved to Melbourne working here as software engineer. I am a quiet guy, likes to watch netflix or play video games. I am working in the city usually 9 to 5. I am bit flexible on move date.
Hi, I'm Jemma and I'm an Australian second year nursing student. I live in country Victoria and find it hard to travel to uni every day so I'm looking for somewhere to live during the week. I really enjoy time to myself however also love catching up for some good food and a drink! I would prefer a share house with girls however am open to living with guys similar in age to myself (18-25) if there are also girls in the house. Would love to hear from you! :)
Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam

Hi, I'm Jacky. I work as a full time primary school teacher in Glenroy. I am looking for a home where I can stay long term but also closer to where I work. Having lived in student accommodation with a variety of people over the last four years in university and now also living independently with a flatmate (through flatmates.com.au funnily enough), it has made me adaptable and easygoing as a housemate. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long day of work and am introverted in nature, I am always down for bonding opportunities and exchanging some amazing banter over a couple of bevs. I am a fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, going to the gym, corny jokes and quality brunches. (Bonus points if you enjoy Netflix and can become friends with this nerd) I can have an active nightlife from time to time, however I keep that outside no matter what and never bring any of that racket home. If I have friends over, I'll always ask for permission first and keep noise to a minimum. Cleanliness has always been a priority to me and I make it a commitment that it remains so in communal areas. My ideal home would be: - Close to public transport and shops (walking distance preferred). - Have space for parking because I have a car (off street or on street is fine). - Inclusive of all bills. - Budget friendly (unfortunately my rent budget is non-negotiable and cannot go any higher than stated). Long story short; if you're looking for a housemate, a new friend, and a tenant who pays their rent on time - I might just be what you're looking for! As I work on a 8-6 schedule, I will not be able to take calls. The best way to reach me is through this website and I'll get back to you ASAP! Looking forward to hear from you soon :)
Hey potential flatmates! I'm coming to University of Melbourne on exchange from University of Toronto. I will be arriving in Melbourne mid July. I just finished my first year at Uni studying environmental and urban geography. I'm friendly, tidy, and respectful of others space and privacy. I am easy going and tend to go with the flow. I like cooking, baking and and trying new foods - I'm basically a foodie! I also love dessert, I'm pretty much addicted to chocolate haha! I enjoy working out, going to the beach and being outdoors. Canada doesn't get much sun so I'm definitely looking forward to some aussie sunshine. I love to travel and like hearing about other's traveling experiences. I've been to Australia a few times, mainly Perth and Sydney, and even did an exchange back in high school to Coffs Harbour, NSW. I haven't been to Melbourne yet so I look forward to going out and exploring the city! Feel free to message me if you are interested in having me as a new flatmate or doing a team up! Thanks!
We are both backpackers coming from New Zealand, one american and one italian (both fluent in english). Looking to work full time but also looking to enjoy the city and get to know the culture! We are both very reliable and fun (we think so).
Will join Melbourne as a student of University of Melbourne in July. Looking for a room with single bed option, no bunk beds (coz I'm kinda claustrophobic). An easy-going person and pretty friendly. Love a good chat but also respects personal space. Can't wait to meet my new roomies. See ya soon! :)
Hi there, I am Looking for a room to rent preferably in the northern suburbs. I'm a very easy going, open minded and understanding house mate. I work part time as a waitress and am studying hairdressing at the moment. I like reading, listening to music, singing and want to learn how to play the guitar or piano. Would love to start a band! I enjoy going for long walks in the evening, baking and spending time with friends and family. I am a very tidy, and quiet, like to catch up with housemates over a meal and a drink. I will respect your space, not a party person and mindful of any house rules. I Look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi! You can call me “Yong”. I’m from Thailand, I come to here to study in cooking to fulfill my dreams. I enjoy walking around city to see the buildings as I finished my degree in Architectural field, going out to see the difference in mix cultures. I’m a clean person with the very asian culture that not to wear shoes in the house and always wash the dishes after finished the food. I’m quite an introvert person, sometimes love being alone laying around watch Netflix all day, or maybe going out to the park would be my pleasure.

Hello! I'm Amandine (it's ok, nobody can pronounce it) and I'm French. I've done my first year visa in Australia already and will be back for the second in september. I have experience living with others as I lived in two different appartments in Australia and had a few different flatmates :) I never had a problem with anyone and always enjoyed a drink with them. I am coming back to Australia because of course I loved the country but also because I want to have more experience as a barmaid. Fell in love with this job in Melbourne :)
I love life, chirpy, outgoing. I get along with anyone. Love company, laughing, joking, making most of life but I really also enjoy and need my solo time. I am respectful of other people's belongings and very trustworthy. Was a gaming attendant for the past 3 years. Looking for work, but i begin a course at Melbourne polytechnic in a month
Hi there! :) I am a health-professional looking for a long-term accommodation. I have done a fair bit of travelling and living in shared accommodation over the years and truly appreciate sharing space with nice folks. I am respectful of your personal space, very easy going, and looking forward to a clean and comfortable home to come back to after a long day's work. I do not drink or smoke, but always love cider-fueled conversations over a lazy weekend. Depending on the weather and my work schedule, I would head down to the beach and try to catch some dinner. Otherwise, I might be in the mountains for the snow during the winter months. Please drop me a message if I sound like a decent housemate to you. Thanks. Sito
I am an enthusiastic person from Colombia, I studied architecture, I'm studying English, working hard and enjoying the experience living in Melbourne. I would like to live in a quiet and cleaned, place to have good rest after working, however I'm sociable and I like to know people.
