Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne the 22nd of July. I've a Working Holiday Visa. I'm planing to stay in Melbourne for 5/6 months and then travel around Australia. I'm looking for a private room close to the city. About me, I am friendly, tidy and respectful. It's not the first time I share a flat.
Hey there, **Below also applies to the Kensington Area and surrounds. If you are looking at anything else and want the cheaper option of being a secondary tenant hit me up! I'm looking to apply for a semi-furnished apartment in the Alt Tower on Mt Alexander Rd but I need some help from a friendly and easy going chap/chapette who's willing to take the second bedroom and jump on the lease with me (Long-term, 6-12 Months). I will be paying majority of rent so room will only be $175/week with split bills and you will have access to gym, sauna, sky deck BBQ area, beautiful view from living room, my various streaming accounts & my chill AF nature. I'm 29, Perth originated, working full time in docklands for a digital agency, love to cook (most times), stay fit (most times), have a drink (...some times?) and generally chill out. Open to chats but also like some space and if you want your own space, go nuts. You do you. All I ask in you is to be friendly & responsible. Also a stable job is pretty important. PM if you're interested or you want to discuss anything. Cheers!
I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. Originally from Adelaide. I'm working full time at RMIT. I don't drive - by choice, I haven't had my licence suspended or anything like that. Currently living in Northcote and would be happy to keep living in this area but also happy to live in similar locations e.g. Brunswick, Collingwood, Fitzroy, etc. I'm not very familiar with the south side of the city but would consider moving there too. LGBT+ friendly. Places that I am interested in have the following features: Close to public transport (preferably a train line but trams are okay). Close to shops and cafes. Housemates that are clean and tidy in common spaces. A bedroom that can fit a queen size bed and bedside tables. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Easy going and relaxed person, prefer to keep social activities outside the house. Hard worker with potentially future study. clean and organised. Happy to chat over a couple drink but also respect and like private personal time. Ideally looking for room with private bathroom and maximum 3 bedroom apartment. All female house mates preferred.
Current undergraduate student studying Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne and have just transferred from the University of Sydney this semester. I have experienced living with others when I did a French Immersion programme in Quebec City last year and really loved the experience. I enjoy reading, travelling, music, and going to the beach. I am responsible, tidy, honest and considerate. Very happy for my previous host family in Quebec (although some translating may be required as they only speak French!) or my former school principal to be contacted for a character reference.
We are two girls from Sweden who are planning to move to Melbourne for a period of time to work, and experience the lifestyle! We have both graduated from the IB programme and have lived away from home working for the past year. We both know how to make the greatest meatballs and promise to make you brunch every single morning*. *sometimes
Im a 23 year old flight attendant from Perth living in Melbourne. Looking for somewhere to live for a minimum of 6 months. Id preferably like an ensuite bathroom or own bathroom but not too fussy. I am away for work quite a bit so i wont be spending a whole lot of time at home. Im super laid back and easy to get along with.. non smoker, pet lover, I love to cook and I am a very clean and tidy person. I'd like to live with someone who understands or can respect the shift work lifestyle as there are times I finish work at 5am so I'd sleep a small amount during the day :) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have :)

Hello! My name is Shayna (aka Shay) from the US. I am a down to earth girl looking to apply for a working holiday visa in Australia! I recently returned from a backpacking trip around Southeast Asia and caught the travel bug (luckily that was the only major thing). Some of my hobbies include drawing/painting, playing guitar/uke/piano and working out (yoga/running). I love meeting new people and going out to explore. Would be willing to share my chocolate stash and a few glasses of wine (plus living expenses). Not sure exactly what I will be doing for work but I can support myself. Hoping to live in a furnished place with young professionals/ other backpackers to socialize with!
Hello, my Name is Dora. I'm 26 years old. I lived in Brighton, U.K for the last 5 years. I'm moving to Melbourne this summer to work as an engineer. I'm a clean and friendly person. I prefer relaxing at home or going to dinner / few drinks with friends instead of partying. I would love to live somewhere cozy and tidy that I can call home.
Hi! I'm from Malaysia, moving to Melbourne for a new start. I'm generally a pretty quiet person - I don't drink or party much. Which usually means that I wouldn't be bringing back parties with me. I might invite a friend or two back for a quiet night of watching television or just to have a nice conversation with at most. I like reading and running for leisure and having a good conversation with people. I like artsy things (like going to musicals and festivals and things). :)
Hello there potential flatmates of Melbournia, I am a full time young professional who will keep the fridge stocked with hummus. I've been living in the heart of the city for quite some time now but as anyone who has lived in the city knows...you must work to live. So I am ready to move out of the hustle and bustle and into the outer suburbs. As a flatmate you can expect Netflix marathons, tidiness and your privacy respected. Message me!
