TL;DR Arriving in Australia first week of August for work. Looking for a room and a garage or large shed for Windsurfing kit with on or off street parking. Less than 30 mins to Carlton. 25-35 year old flat mates. Full version: Third culture, house share trained guy moving from Europe to Melbourne for work. Native in English and French. University educated. Work in business development for a Defence company. Into windsurfing, cars, music, hitting the gym, good food etc. No drugs. Looking for a clean and tidy (essential) friendly household of full time workers (no students). Age range 25-35. Educated... Preference for living with tenants only - not living with landlords. No couples please. My office is in Carlton and I should be travelling quite regularly for work. I would like to keep commute under 30 mins door to door. Prioritising properties which have a garage (shared or not) as I will need to store my windsurfing kit. On or off street parking essential. Home is to be a peaceful drama free sanctuary - not a party house. However I’m still into wining and dining; naturally...
Just graduated with a first class honours in Sport and Exercise science and want to grab a feel of the Australian lifestyle. I am tidy, have great cooking skills (always a bonus), outgoing, adventurous, and have a very personable character. I will be looking to work part-time during my stay with the intention of returning in January if all goes to plan.
I'm just always interested in learning and experiencing new things. Recently I've been learning how to play the guitar (tho I'm miserable) and Olympic weightlifting. Who knows what's next? Meanwhile, I like to travel to different places (especially in Asia because it is very different from the western culture I grew up). I'm always listening to music and it varies from Rock to electronic, some classical and Brazilian popular music (MPB). I'm from Brazil. It is up to you to figure out whether I like soccer, samba, and caipirinha. I can teach you Portuguese, how to cook, software programming, nutrition, exercises and tell my crazy stories and theories. I'm moving to Melbourne to work as a full-time software developer.
Hi! I'm Tom from the UK. I'm moving to Melbourne for permanent work as an engineer after a year travelling. I'm a pretty chilled, clean and considerate flatmate looking to live in a friendly home with flatmates who are up for hanging it together. I like to keep busy and enjoy cycling, surfing, playing football and running. Love coffee and enjoy the odd beer too. Also like movies, music and cooking. I'm looking to move in ASAP from the 17th July. Hope to hear from you! Tom
We're Josefine and Robert, a Danish couple age 25 and 31 respectively. This July we're going to Melbourne to study. We're both nerds studying Computer Science... But social and awesome nerds! ;) We're looking for a nice place to live. A place to feel relaxed and at home. Sharing meals with roommates discussing everything from the latest episode of West World to the meaning of life would be of great value to us. And don't worry we won't be speaking Danish all the time :)
I'm looking for a private room. I'm Japanese. I came to Melbourne in February to study English. I go to English school every week day and have part time job. My school and work place are in the city I would like to live where I can go to the city in less than 40 minutes. I'm tidy, quiet, responsible, considerate and friendly.
Hi. I'm Sej and in art field. I'm from Korea. Have experience that live in NYC for 2yrs. Now, in Melbourne, I'm about to study more about arts. So, clearly I'm interested in arts and creative works, cooking and Love to hang out with nice people and have some good chat with beer or wine, but not too much. Most of the time, trying to be considerate as much as I can. And also care about keep it tidy :) I know it's not that easy to find somewhere or someone fit for me but I really hope I can find one and get along!
I feel I’m an easy going guy who likes to socialise, but also likes my own space. I’m originally from the uk and have been here for 6 years now. currently living in Sydney, but looking to relocate to Melbourne for the 7th July due to a new job.
Hi! The name’s Karishma. I was born and raised in Thailand, moved to Melbourne to pursue my masters degree (I’ll be going to RMIT). I’m currently 29 years old and gurantee to be someone easy and great to live with! 1. I can cook great food! :D 2. Since I do consider myself a sensible adult, I’m not loud. I love my share of peace and quiet. 3. I love cleanliness, yes please!! 4. I’m orgnised, so you can expect minimal amount of mess. 5. I love animals, so if you have pets, I’d welcome that! I was never allowed to have pets while living in Thailand (except for a few gold fishes and koi fishes xD) - so that’d be amazing! 6. I’m open minded and have a considerably good sense of humor? Though you can be the judge of that when we meet! 7. I love diversity and meeting new people 8. I absolutely despise discrimination against any religion, race, ethnicity or gender. I love everyone. We’re all human beings and deserve the right to live in peace. ;) In the end, we all croak and end up in the dust. (I can be so philosophical sometimes, it’s ridiculous!) 9. I meditate? xD so I could say I’m pretty calm - that means I don’t lose my crap easily. 10. Let's be friends and have a blast?! :) Extras: I read, write and draw.
Hello! I am an international undergrad from Malaysia studying commerce at University of Melbourne. I am a tidy and easygoing person who respects your personal time and space. Looking for a female housemate and a fully furnished apartment around Carlton or Melbourne to move out in July. :)
I will be relocating from the US to pursue my master's degree in international development at the University of Melbourne. I plan on working part-time as well, so I'll be pretty busy. I like to keep my belongings and space tidy. During my free time, I like to have fun by working out, going out for drinks, enjoying the outdoors, and/or hitting the beach. I can also be laid back and stay in to watch a good movie or Netflix series... so I'd say I'd be a pretty well-balanced roommate! A sociable roommate would be ideal since I'll be new to the country and will want to make new friends :)
Myself(Luke) and Mia are both very laid back while still maintaining a clean lifestyle. I work full time as a Kfc manager and also looking to start bartending. Mia is a student, but is taking some time off at the moment. Both enjoy a night out with a few drinks. Although a night in watching a movie is also great. We have lived in a number of share houses so we know how to be respectful of others. We are also looking to get a Puppy! So keep that in mind.
Hey everyone JD here. I'm a tidy, easy going and really respectful. Mostly keep to myself but always down for good banter. I'm into fitness, cooking and definitely a drink or two :) I trade crypto online so I'll mostly be glued to my laptop haha. Heading to Europe (again lol) soon just after a place for two weeks. Cheers!
