Hi, I'm Victor, 25 years, I'm studying IT (Software Development) in Melbourne at Academy of Information Technology (AIT). It is my second Bachelor degree. I'm a positive person and I'm always open to a good talk, drink some wine/beer, and cook. I consider myself easy to get along, as I've already shared apartments when I was living abroad (USA, Germany and Brazil). I have never had any kind of problem and also got good friends for life from those experiences. Moreover, I like to keep my place well clean and organised and I'm also really respectful and responsible with my commitments (studies, work, bills, and everything else). At home I generally take some time to study, as I'm also doing a research with a professor in a Brazilian University. On weekends I like to go out with friends to bars and restaurants, but I'm not a party rat. I also love to enjoy my relaxing time going to cafes, restaurants, museums, seeing some movies... I always try to practice some sports and walk around the city to know new places.
Hi, I'm Falana Kelly and I will be an exchange student from the United States. I will be studying at Victoria University. I love cooking and yoga. I would love to explore Melbourne while I enjoy my time abroad.
Hi! My name's Brooke, I'm 20 years old and from outer south-east Melbourne. I work as a library technician while studying librarianship. I'm wanting to move closer to both work and Melbourne's cultural life. I am looking for a private room in the inner south-eastern suburbs (Toorak, South Yarra, Prahran etc). Great public transport links are essential, preferably on the Pakenham/Cranbourne train line. I am in no hurry to move, so move in date is flexible. My budget per week is $190, or $220 inc. bills. But this is flexible and I'm currently reevaluating my budget. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends in the area, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay rent and bills consistently. Monday-Friday is spent working and studying, so I'm pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home and I don't bring the party home with me. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your home! Cheers!
I am Management Consultant and coming from Boston for a year or longer transfer to Melbourne. My office is in CBD, so would ideally love something nearby but open to looking in the broader area as well if we can find a sweet deal. I will be moving to Melbourne starting August 1 and would love to have something pinned down before that. I am an avid trekker and runner. Loves traveling and diving. Pretty chilled out and don't sweat the small stuff. Hit me up if you are interested in teaming up for the housing.
I'm originally from "Foster, Victoria" and am currently living in Frankston. I am applying to undertake study at RMIT University for Sound Production, I'm very relaxed and a goof and love a few beers when the time is right, I'm out-going and yet very humble and respect privacy, beliefs and values. On the weekends I love to experience the city's secret places, meet new people and eat all that good food! Summed up, I'm relaxed, looking for a new home and want to have fun achieving it.
Howdy future roomie! Bailey, 21, male, not nearly as funny as I think I am. I've just returned from a couple years overseas in the US and Canada; I worked consecutive summer camps in California and spent the rest of my time travelling and bartending, now I'm looking for some city life in my home state! I'm currently subletting a place out of Carlton, although I'm searching for something longer term so that I can fully establish myself in the city. Work wise I bartend 40 hours per week, I also study part-time at HFAS in North Melbourne and play guitar. My hobbies include cleaning up after myself, not making loud noises at unreasonable hours and consistently paying rent on time.
I work full time as a manager of a retail boutique, I live an active life with work and gym, but when I’m home I love to have a bit of banter or relax with some nextflix. I’m very respectable of each persons space as well as like to live in a clean place. I’m just looking for a place I can call home and hopefully have a warm house environment amongst housemates.
Hey! I am an undergraduate student from India and will be interning at the University of Melbourne from July. When I'm not writing papers, I love to travel and I really like adventure sports. I am looking to travel through Australia and meet new people during my stay here. Would love to meet some locals to show me around and get the best experience this country has to offer!
I’m looking for someone to team up with and get a place together so that it feels like ours etc but happy to consider moving in to the right place as well. I’m very easy going and am also respectful, trustworthy, reliable, clean, always pay my rent and bills on time and would need someone with the same mindset. I’ve been sharing with 3 awesome people and while they don’t want me to leave it was only ever a short term stint for me while I house hunted after being transferred interstate for 12 months. If I can find the right person to get a place with that would be great otherwise I’ll get something myself. Only interested in people wanting to pay at least $300pw for something. If you don’t want to pay that much then it won’t work as we’d be looking for properties of differing calibre. That doesn’t mean we won’t find something great that happens to be less. In my spare time you’ll find me at the gym, out with friends, holed up in my room catching up on work / watching the tennis / mucking around on my phone or pottering around in the kitchen. I love to cook and like to eat healthily for the most part. Happy to eat together or do our own thing. I have some furniture, TVs / DVD recorders, white goods, kitchenware etc if we need it but it can all just as easily stay where it is - in storage at work. No couch potatoes please, I’ve shared with someone before who was a fixture on the couch. Also someone with their own thing going on is good. Flexible re suburbs and commencement or move in date - earlier or later is fine, happy to commence as soon as we find something. Also flexible re length of stay though an initial 3-6 months is the minimum needed for teaming up.
I came out to Aus just over a month ago from the UK on a working holiday visa. I’m intending to stay in Melbourne for the majority of the time. I have been temping for the last few weeks but start a new job on 19th June (Mon-Fri 9-5) working as an event coordinator for a fun run in Melbourne in September. I’m 28 years old and like to socialise on weekends with/without flatmates. During the week though, I’m fairly quiet but maybe enjoy the odd meal out with friends. I also play netball every week and like to catch the odd AFL game on a weekend if I can!
Hello future housemates my name is Maria work pretty much full time at a spa in Carlton North . I work most days of week, I am a very social person but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax. Love taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy and fit. I want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates and make friends. My lease ends at the end of July but I am trying to find someone to take over my current room to move out earlier so move date isn’t clear yet. ******I also have a washing machine and a big TV and a few other things that I can bring to the household if needed
Hi mate!, I am Pandu from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am taking Master of Engineering Management at the University of Melbourne. I love walking, running, swimming, hiking, and gardening. Always respect towards everyone. I accept and welcome anyone. I have been living for 6 months in Apartment CBD but I think I prefer house outside CBD or in suburb especially when you have a garden to plant vegetables/tree haha. Anything you want to know just message me. Cheers,
Hello! We're a very open-minded couple from Egypt (Australian) & the UK. We've both explored the world and speak multiple languages (English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Catalan, and a bit of Thai too). We're both neat, want to explore the city, and engage with whatever it can offer. This will be our first time in Australia, so we want to find like-minded people to share an apartment with and explore the city together :)
Hey there! I'm from California, and I would describe myself as friendly, clean and easy going. Starting in July 2018, I'll be a Master's student at University of Melbourne studying International Relations. I also plan to work part time, so I will be pretty busy. I always make time to unwind and have some fun, though. In my free time I enjoy exploring the city, going wine tasting (I have a wine certification with WSET), discovering new restaurants, and catching up with friends. Though I am from the United States, I've been to Melbourne many times and also enjoy going to AFL games, the museums, and the parks. I am quite social, but always very respectful of other people's space, sleep schedules and privacy.
Hi! My name is Marco from Germany, male and I am 21 years of age. I've recently graduated and at the moment work in the hospitality industry. If everything goes well, I intent to stay for 1-2 years. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more details. Best Regards, Marco
