G'day flatmates! I'm a 30 yo guy from France originally but lived in London for the past 6+ years. I've only just moved to Melbourne on a whv and was hoping to stay here for a few months before exploring the rest of the continent! I'm super easy going, I love to meet people and spend time over a chat, a drink or a cooking session. I'm pretty tidy, I don't carry much so will hardly make any mess and I respect others' privacy. I do see flat sharing as living with friends though - not interested in hibernating bears! Cheers for now ;)
Hi, my name is Carolina, I'm Dutch/Spanish and I have recently arrived in Melbourne, I'm hoping to stay here for 3 or 4 months. I'm a very quiet, considerate and respectful person who likes to live in a clean and tidy environment. I'm very friendly and can be outgoing in social situations but for the most part I like to relax alone in my room on my laptop. This is why I definitely need internet and a desk and chair would be great too.
Hi I'm Shaun. I'm a pretty easy going guy looking for a place to stay for up to 6 to 12 months. I'm clean, responsible and reliable with rent. I'm a qualified butcher but I moved to Melbourne from Alice Springs to study building design at RMIT. I have a long experience with renting and living out of home and I am able to take care of myself. Also don't mind having a good laugh. Looking to find a place ASAP as I will be starting classes again on the 6th. Please let me know if there is anything else you wish to know and we can go from there. Cheers.
I'm 25-year-old Finn who loves traveling the world but is now looking forward to settle down in Melbourne, for at least 3 months. I'll be doing an unpaid teaching practice in North Melbourne, so a room close by that area would be great! I'm a super easy-going and I get along with everyone. I always take others into consideration in all possible ways. I can talk and party a lot but also I need my own time which I usually spend by going to yoga or running. I'm clean and I wish my flatmates to be so as well. Looking forward to share some awesome time with you!! :)
We are three friends from Sweden and New Zealand who are looking for a place to stay. We are easygoing, tidy and happy people. We respect privacy and understand how important it can be even though we love to socialize and meet new people. We have no problem sharing kitchen or bathroom, but would like two separate bedrooms. Hope to hear from you!
I currently live in a small country town 2-3 hours from Melbourne. I am looking for a tree or sea change. I work at an RSL club as a kitchenhand part time. I am also a musician and and online radio DJ, which also keeps me out of trouble! I am looking for a room that has the room to not only add a bed but to also ad a desk in as I have a small studio set up. I also have a Boyfriend who does not live with me. However I do spend most of my weekends with him. I have been told by others that I have a good sense of humour. I see myself as an easy going person who likes a balance between alone time and the company of others. I am respectful of others. I am clean and reliable. I can also be adventurous and don't mind a night out here and there. I hope I can get to meet like-minded people and make the change! If there is anything else you'd like to know feel free to please drop me a message! I would love to meet you!

Hi there! I am an outgoing 23 year old moving to Melbourne from the north (brrr) of Sweden. I am starting a Master's Program at Monash University and am looking for a long-term rental. I am not too picky about my accommodation except for a private room and preferably close to the Caulfield campus. I am a non-smoker, keep my common areas clean and can make some yummy Swedish desserts. I enjoy the outdoors and travelling, have spent my last year in Cape Town working and spend a lot of time snowboarding during the winter. I will be studying at Monash during the days but hopefully meet some interesting people along the way in Melbourne so if you have any rooms available, please let me know! /Emma, your future roommate
Hey there, I'm 22 work full time in the financial services industry. I'm pretty tidy so no issue there. Love going out for a drink on the weekends or just catching up with friends! Would love to hear back from you. Albert.
I clean! I have average cooking ability. Generally up for fun activities and adventures. Respectful of space and privacy. Probably the greatest thing to happen to you (please help me find a room!). Bonus if you have a dog.
Watcher of movies. Player of piano. Tidy. Capable cook. I'm from Perth moving over to study at the University of Melbourne, so I would like somewhere within range of uni. I'll be doing full-time postgrad, which means a) I'm on a student budget, and conservative with bills etc. b) Although I'm generally friendly, I will probably have my head in a book a lot of the time and would like somewhere quiet. But I definitely enjoy the occasional night out, night in, or weekend activity - particularly movies, games, or outdoor things like hiking.
Hi, my name is Chirag. I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities prior! My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees! I am very social and go out a lot for events and stuff around Melbourne. I also love to swim, ride my bicycle and explore Melbourne and rest - well you will have to chat with me in person - yeah? :) While at home I enjoy watching movies, like to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mates, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :).... A bit about myself; I work in Software Sales for a IT company in South Yarra. I moved back in early 2015 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years (2000- 2010) - I worked at ANZ Bank in various departments for 7 years! Went to study full time for my Masters at Melbourne Uni, graduated and found a job overseas and hence the overseas living and working :)... I would like to live with matured flatmate/s who are "neat & clean" and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). I am down to earth and easy to get along with. Would also be great to have chat over a drink, eat together etc. at times. - instead of being a person living in the next room : ). I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat please, thank you. I love to cook and buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing. Like a glass of red with a nice meal and specially in the winters, to keep myself a bit warm :). I have my own stuff for the room, bed, tall boy and side table etc. and my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and stuff for kitchen nothing major though and no other furniture, thank you.
An Aussie and a Swede have moved to Melbourne to explore the culture of AFL fanatics and brunch connoisseurs! We met in Canada whilst living abroad and it's been one big adventure, roaming multiple countries and hunting long-lasting memories along the way. Located in Sydney over the last 5 months or so (don't worry, we've seen the light). We both have a degree and are looking for work in our fields. We enjoy exercising (so that we can eat everything) and exploring new ideas. Not massive on the party scene anymore and would much rather a casual drink in a quieter area
Hi future roomate :) We are two easy going guys, in couple, coming in Melbourne in January. We stay here for 2 months (at least), and we are looking for an apartment in Melbourne CBD or close to, starting from Jan 20th. John is the great housekeeper, and Dryss the amazing vegetarian cooker :) Both energic, sympathic, and talkative. We are looking for quiet roomates, absolutely non smoker inside the apartement. We really pay attention on bills, and didn't any problems in other rent about that (even if we don't find job : Dryss continues to earn money with his french job). We will be glad to meet you, with a drink, to discuss about a serious rent :) See you !
Hi, we are a couple from England. Both mid-twenties professionals working in Melbourne's CBD. Both moderately charming. We are looking for a short term stay 20th-29th of Jan. We move out of our current house on the 20th but can't move in to our new place until 29th! Happy to meet up and pay upfront for the room if that suits. Any questions, let us know. Thanks!
Hey, I'm Anna and am looking for a room to rent while studying at the University of Melbourne. I study business and law and currently work part time at a home organization store (so I know how to keep my space tidy). I like to drink coffee, pet stranger's dogs, go on adventures, and occasionally go out with friends or have a few friends over for a drink. However I am also happy to stay at home and read or watch a movie. I have only had female housemates in the past but would be happy to mix it up! I am respectful of common areas and can give others their space when they need it however I would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. I am American and will be moving to Melbourne from Seattle so it would be a lot easier if there was at least a bed in the room but if its the right fit I'm willing to figure out the furnishing for myself. The earliest I am available for inspections is February 8th, but I would be able to move in right away afterwards. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Hi there! ;) My name is Karla, I'm from Italy and have been living in Melbourne for 2 years. I work and study law in the city and I'm looking for a room in share accommodation in the city. I play tennis, I enjoy going for runs/walks, watching movies and listening to music. I enjoy my quiet moments, especially when I'm busy with Uni work but at the same time I enjoy going out, spending time with friends/family and have some fun. I am a postgrad student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Environmental Study; commencing my study in Feb 2017. I previously worked for NGOs focusing on sustainability issues and community and gender-inclusive empowerment programs in Indonesia. I have tangible passion in environmental protection and human right issues especially the queers since I'm gay myself. I Love to travel, read, listen to music and party when it is the right time to do so. I can assure you that I'm an open-minded person and respect differences and diversity because I believe everyone is unique and has a right and freedom to do what make them as a person and of course happy. I'm very tidy and always take a good care of my house. If you require a reference letter from my previous landlord in Perth, I'd be happy to do so. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I love cooking Indonesian cuisines too when I have some spare time and always proud and glad to introduce it to my friends from different background. 🙂 I love to make friends with people from any backgrounds, this was also the reason why I became an Airbnb host when I was in Jakarta. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Cheers, Randi

Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. I am going to move to Melbourne to student a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) as a first year at University of Melbourne. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room. Thank you.
Hi, I'm a full-time philosophy student from Tasmania, relocating to Melbourne this year. I've lived in a couple of share houses over the past few years, and I am a reliable and considerate roommate. My interests are fairly lowkey (my studies, other reading, hiking and running), so I value a clean, quiet, and amicable home environment. Always up for a good conversation or a trip for fresh veg.

Hi everyone! We are an easy-going, Mexican couple, moving to Melbourne to study for 2 years (In CBD and Hawthorn) and work in part-time jobs. We like to have a good time, from going out and party to having a relaxed time at home watching Netflix. We love pets, don't smoke and enjoy a good laugh with friends. We also enjoy the casual board-games and a good volleyball match. We're tidy, honest and trustworthy people and very respectful of others and their privacy. Needless to say, we're more than excited for this new stage in our lives!
Hello hello, I'm a 20 year old student from Paris but moved to Melbourne two and a half years ago and love it here! I'm finishing by bachelor of commerce majoring in Marketing and Finance. I lived at college for the first two years of study but I've had enough and want to experience something else. I would describe myself as a very bubbly and happy person, I'm very social and like to go out with my friends a lot. You are welcome to join us, all of my friends love to meet new people! However I will not bring them home, I fully understand that the house is a calm place that you want to come home to after a long day. I'm very tidy myself but grew up in a messy family so I don't really care how the house looks, it's up to you. I think that I'm super easy to live with, it's very hard to get me out of my good mood. I'll have to study quite a bit since it's my last year so I'll probably be at uni during most of the daytime and I try to go to the gym four to five times a week. My New Year's resolution is to learn how to kite surf so I'll be heading to the beach at least once a week, join me if you'd like, the more the merrier! I love to binge watch Netflix with pizza and wine but generally eat quite healthy food (or at least I try) that I am happy to cook for the entire house. I'm looking for a fun household of open minded people who are keen to be friends over flatmates. Cheers for reading all of this and maybe see you soon! Alexia
