Hi there folks I’m steve and Im a Salvation Army volunteer at boronia church on crn Liverpool Road Boronia.
I’m a talented musician who plays drums professionally and guitar and piano is my learning how to play, And a song writer.
About the drum kit or practicing I only practice guitar and piano and drums at church!!
I do have an electric drum kit which makes no sound at all I only practice my sticking techniques to keep me in shape!!!
I’ve been on television in the past with a well known corporate band called The Echoes in late 90’s to 2002 that was my highlight and I learned so much about the music industry and how to get every single person out on the crowd to dance and follow the band !!!
and most well known cover bands in Melbourne playing the Victoria NSW circuit.
When the GST was introduced the pub pokies and band venues throughout Australia started to close down and getting paid was a lot less than last show!! So the whole band decided to finish up late 2002 the final show was in Laverton hotel which was our residence which lasted for years!! I so miss the band members and the people that used to watch us and Dance the Night away !!! So since then the last 8 years I’ve been with the Salvation Army being a big part of the worship team leader and helping out with food help and checking power devices with testing equipment which I’m qualified.
