Just testing the waters at the moment. Some time during 2026, not early, no rush, I'd like to co-rent a place with one other person of similar demographic. I want to get a 2 bedroom apartment near a station on the southern line anywhere from Peakhurst to Sutherland, and possibly further down toward Cronulla. I am a middle aged man, single, no children, no partner. I am between jobs, pursuing a career change into computing industries having completed a Computer Science degree in 2024. My entry into the industry has been slow, with only a bit over 2 years experience at a financial institution a few years ago. The work dried up a couple of years ago, and I have mainly been living off savings since then, paying Sydney rentals on my own. I currently live near Hurstville. I feel this coming year, 2026, would be the time to change to a more affordable living situation, and live in a location more convenient to the things I do. I am involved as a trainee radio operator at Marine Rescue NSW and I am going to study Databases and Data management systems through Tafe NSW in 2026 to supplement my recently gained tertiary knowledge. My personal interest is Theravadin Buddhism, and I like to listen to online dhamma taIks and go to meditation centres and monasteries. I am a non drinking, non smoking, non drug person. I have given a long description here, however I just want to put myself out there so people can have some understanding of who I am, and we can take time during 2026 to see if there some possible match up for co-renting a place.
