Samantha Howe and Kevin

Kevin and I have lived in many share situations, both as renters and lease holders. We will contribute to a harmonious household by sharing chores, keeping the space tidy, respecting quiet hours, privacy, and keeping open communication to ensure everyone is happy :)

The story, the deets!

Kevin and I recently arrived to Australia after living in Canada for the last three years. We are roadtripping down the east coast on our way to Torquay, so our move in date is fairly flexible but we hope to be in a house by the end of the month. It is more important for us to find a good fit. We have working holiday visas for the year, so we are also flexible on lease length but have preference for longer.

About us:

Kevin is from the US originally, myself from the UK (met in New Zealand). We are both warm and social individuals; Kevin in a more quiet, calm way. He is an engineer by trade and a handy man in the home. His love language is the suggestion of a games night but he is in general, quite the yes man. Always up for an adventure or to try out any new activity. While living in the US and Canada he spent his free time mountain biking, ski touring and hiking. Here in Australia he hopes to do more surfing and spear fishing - any housemates into spear fishing would be a bonus!

I am very curious, I love people and hearing their stories! While I do love indulging in conversation, I respect home is the place where social batteries are recharged, so I will be both delighted to chat and to enjoy the quiet. I studied Clinical Psychology back home in the UK but ive mostly been working in hospitality and various other jobs while travelling, which is what I will continue to do while I study nutrition and hormonal health. In my free time i'm doing yoga, hiking, baking, reading, "surfing" (paddling) and finding swim holes.

The share houses which work best for us are the ones which feel like a home shared. So if youre looking for housemates who would care to hear about your day, share occasional dinners, games nights and activities - we would love to hear from you.
