Hi. I'm Finn, here in Korea on a working holiday.
I'm scheduled to stay at a temporary accommodation for 7 days, and my planned arrival date is March 18th. I can start looking for a place to live from the 18th. I'll now share my experiences living in communities.
I have 13 years of experience living in four different communities. The first was in an 8-person dorm room. I lived diligently, following the rules we set with my roommates. Because of this, I was recognized and even became the floor leader during my final year of high school. I believe room cleaning and bedding organization should be done every single day.
The second time was in a four-person dorm room. This time, I got along well with friends from different majors and was selected as a model resident, earning the chance to choose my roommate. I enjoyed another year with the same group, totaling two years of dorm life.
Third, during college, I lived independently with just my younger brother. Since he was a student, I handled almost all the household management. That experience established standards for how roommates should interact, and I think I was able to teach my brother those things.
The fourth time was when I lived with six friends from my university club. While our daily routines differed, we shared a club life and lived together with like-minded friends. Each of us took charge of what we were good at; I handled cooking and kitchen cleanliness. We didn't have any major fights during that year, but when I felt hurt by something, I talked it out and we resolved it well.
I enjoy cooking. I also make a point to exercise regularly.
I believe eating habits are an extension of exercise, so I try to eat healthily, but I enjoy eating everything. I love desserts and cafes. I usually wash dishes right after eating. I wish my other housemates would wash dishes promptly too.
I clean the bathroom every time I shower. I've also prepared cleaning tools to tidy up the hair that comes out after drying my hair. I consider personal hygiene very important. I don't think it's just a matter of respect; it's essential for living together.
If you lend me tools for cleaning the common living room or bedrooms, I can maintain them cleanly during non-disturbing hours. Vacuum filters, washing machine filters, kitchen sink strainers... I have a strong stomach, so I can handle cleaning any area well. But I've heard Australian bugs are big, so I'm a bit scared. I can see them and catch them with tools, but I guess I'm still scared.
Thanks for listening. That's all I have to say.
If you're interested, let's set an extension date.
