About me

My name is Fang Meichen, and I will be applying for the property you have listed together with my roommate Si Enyu. After carefully reviewing the listing details, we have developed a strong interest in your apartment and believe it fits our living needs perfectly.

We are both Master’s students in Applied Finance at the University of Queensland. We are very fond of the neighborhood where the property is located, especially the well-known restaurants and cafés that add so much charm to the area. Additionally, the overall environment of the community is impressive, and we look forward to spending pleasant time here.

Regarding the apartment itself, we particularly appreciate its excellent location, practical layout, and abundant natural light. The convenient location will significantly reduce our commute time, allowing us to focus more on our studies and personal life. The thoughtful layout and ample lighting provide a comfortable and spacious living environment where we can relax and unwind after a busy day of study.

We understand the importance of maintaining a good relationship with the landlord and any housemates. We commit to not keeping pets and to keeping the property clean and tidy throughout our tenancy. As I have mild rhinitis and am sensitive to dust, we will clean the apartment weekly to ensure a hygienic and comfortable living space. We are also mindful of our cooking habits—we avoid preparing strong-smelling foods to ensure we do not disturb others. We prefer light meals such as steaming and baking, which aligns with our preference for healthy eating.

Financially, I have sufficient savings to support my studies and living expenses in Australia. In addition, my parents provide me with financial support of AUD 800 per week. Given that our Master’s program will last for one and a half years, we prefer to sign a long-term lease to ensure a stable and comfortable living arrangement throughout our studies. If needed, we are willing to pay two months’ rent in advance as a deposit to demonstrate our sincerity and commitment to this tenancy. We are also open to paying three months’ rent or more upfront if required.

Please note that, as a student, my primary source of income is support from my parents. The proof of funds I provide will also come from my parents. Regarding financial documentation, since I mainly use Commonwealth Bank and Bank of China in Australia, I can provide relevant bank statements.
