Im seeking a long term home for me: 54 yo wholefood omnivorous working massage therapist, and my quiet calm scruffy senior INSIDE neutered female dog, 8kg 12yo. Into permaculture (also qualified horticulturist), have anarchosocialist values, like to laugh, dont watch commercial TV, clean up after myself and Pip, contribute to cleaning shared spaces and yard maintenence and come with a kickass whipper snipper. I pay rent and bills on time and am relaxed and compromising around the house, using natural cleaning products and appreciate the same. I dont wear sprays colognes or perfumes, or use incense and like to live in a home where others also dont. Ive not much household stuff, except a small lounge which i like to have in my room (or can go elsewhere) and a desk, so need a largish room. Ive got a couple of bicycles and a kayak I need a secure undercover storage space for, and a trailer I need some yard or carport space for.
Additional to working in a clinic 3 days a week, i do mobile massage which necessitates a dryer to maintain the towels so i need to run that at most once or twice a week and i use the sun for drying everything else. I eat a lot of fresh food so need fridge and freezer space or to be able to have another small fridge/freezer.
Ive can afford 300 pw including bills.
Ive owned my own home way out west since 2021 and have rental ledgers from before that to share as well as references from people Ive house/farm-sat for over the last couple of years whilst I was studying.
Successfully lived in a skills exchange for rent situation before, so would consider that or part thereof, and hope to be within 50km NW, W or south of Taringa..will consider further for the right people to share with or a solo dwelling.. however not North or East of Brisbane coz traffic ya know.
