Hello my name is Jake,

I’m an ex army veteran, who owns 2 businesses in the sunshine coast area which is a rigging and crane services company.

The other is a cyber security business which I’m currently continuing my studying on top of my degree in computer science which I already attained / completed 3 months ago.

I’m clean and tidy to the point of ocd, one the perks of living with me or entrusting me with your house is due to my service and injuries sustained whilst deployed, I have a DVA Gold card.

Which entitles me to 2hrs of professional cleaning and 1hr of lawn mowing.

Accompanied with professional window cleaning up to 3 times per year.

I moving back to Newcastle as I lived here previously and my son lives in the Hunter valley area.

I’m looking to attain a commercial / industrial yard in the Heatherbrae area and move my rigging and crane services business down here.

I also do a lot of FIFO work with both of my businesses, so am not home a lot.

I’m currently off work (Physically), in saying that am still very busy through the day with the operations manager side of my company with teams meetings and never ending phone calls.

Along with a lot of hours on my laptop between that and my cyber security business and furthering my study to specialise in red team penetration testing.

I currently am towards the end of my rehabilitation from my wrist surgery, which I attend an occupational therapy hand specialist once a week.

As well as physiotherapy and exercise therapy twice a week.

I have perfect rental ledgers accompanied with a current paid for rental back ground check.

With my A class military pension and income Protection and in capacity payments I take home after tax $5114.14 per fortnight.

Which I can provide pays advices / wages for both and letters of confirmation and invoicing to DVA (Department of veterans affairs) for all the above.

I also make an income off my two business which I have both set up in a family trust business model due to tax and other personal benefits.

Unfortunately because of my current situation with my income protection and A class military pension am finding it hard to attain a house as I’ve never been declined for any house I’ve applied for.

Also due to the fact that for the past two years I’ve lived with my currently separated partner and my rental ledgers are from realestate agencies that have either closed over the years or been bought out via mergers with larger companies, closed or the realestate agents have moved on.

So in the property app it will not let the agencies for the listings even open my profile or let me apply because it no longer lets you upload your rental ledgers and they have to be requested from the agencies and are left on pending due to this reason, not allowing the renting agency to even open and review my profile.

I’m looking preferably looking for a whole house or some one to go halves in a decent sized house or apartment or at worst a room to stay in for a 1-3 months minimum or at a time until I can attain what I’m looking for.

I’m currently paying $1100-$1900 per week depending on holiday periods.

As well as having to apartment / hotel hop between different accommodations which is becoming quite annoying as like to be in a routine.

I’m a friendly easy going 38yr old, with a good sense of humour with an affinity for animals and children.

I’m quiet respectful, I don’t really have any friends in Newcastle and keep to myself.

I train most days of the week on top of my rehabilitation for my wrist am quite and active person, I enjoy Muay Thai which I still train twice a week just don’t use my left glove due to my recovering wrist injury.

I participate in yoga and Pilates as well as enjoying hiking and spending time in nature I.e the beach and hiking.

I love and own a collection of motorcycles both road and off road, and own 3 cars.

Which are mostly all in storage in Newcastle
at the moment.

I own a full house of brand new appliances and furniture and tools and etc.

In saying that an happy to move into a furnished house / apartment / room.
