Hi, I’m Kinjal, 25, originally from India and currently living in Melbourne. I’m a University of Melbourne student and also interning at L’Oréal, so most of my days are usually spent between uni, work, cooking, studying, and winding down with some Netflix.
I’m looking for a home that feels peaceful, clean, warm, and friendly. I’m a very clean, organised, and considerate person, and I genuinely enjoy keeping my space nice. I’m the kind of person who watches cleaning videos for fun, so safe to say I take cleanliness seriously. Personality-wise, I’d say I’m a mix of Claire Dunphy and Monica Geller: friendly, precise, honest, and caring.
I’m quite social and would love to be friends with my flatmate rather than just coexisting in the same space. I’m also respectful of personal space and boundaries, especially during busy times like exams or early mornings. I cook often, mostly non-vegetarian food (chicken), and I enjoy creating a cosy and welcoming home environment.
I don’t smoke. I’m not much of a partier or frequent drinker. I may occasionally have close friends over, but I always believe in communicating openly and being respectful of the shared space. I don’t have pets, but I’d be happy living with a dog since I’m definitely a dog person.
I’ve lived with people from different cultures and backgrounds before, and I really value mutual respect, honesty, friendliness, and understanding in a home. I’d love to live with a female flatmate who is clean, respectful, considerate, and ideally someone who enjoys a warm, comfortable home. Bonus points if you’re funny, sarcastic, and enjoy a good chat about life, the world, or the universe.
