Hi, I’m Marlene!

I’m 18 years old and I recently graduated from high school in Germany. I know I’m quite young compared to many people moving to Australia, but I’m a very responsible, reliable and independent person. I’m really excited to start this new chapter on my own and make the most of the experience.

I want to make one of my dreams come true and spend around six months, or possibly longer, in Australia doing a Work & Travel experience. I’d especially love to stay in Sydney for most of my time and hopefully work in hospitality.

I’m friendly, open-minded and easy-going, and I really value having a comfortable and respectful home. I’m tidy, reliable and considerate of the people I live with. I’m also calm and communicative and prefer a relaxed atmosphere without unnecessary drama.

I’d love to get along well with my flatmates and hopefully become friends along the way. I’d be happy to have a morning coffee together, cook something or occasionally explore Sydney together. ☕️ At the same time, I’ll probably be out quite a lot because I want to work, discover Australia and experience as much as possible.

I may be 18, but I’m ready to take responsibility for myself and for the place I live in. I’m looking for a friendly, relaxed home where everyone respects each other and feels comfortable. 😊
