Tristan and Melanie

Hi, we’re Tristan and Melanie, an engaged couple from California relocating to the Wollongong area on working holiday visas. We’re friendly, respectful, clean, and easygoing, and we’re looking for a calm, safe, and well-kept place to live near the coast.

We both love nature, beach life, travel, health, and staying active. Tristan works in environmental biology and loves bodyboarding, surfing, fitness, pickleball, and anything outdoors. Melanie works as an architectural drafter and is kind, thoughtful, creative, and shares a love for nature, coastal living, and a healthy/vegan lifestyle. We’re both very open to experience the beautiful people, places, and culture Australia has to offer.

Ideally, we’d love a private or self-contained space, but we’d also be very happy in a clean and comfortable home with respectful, low-key people or a family. We’re not party people and are looking for somewhere relaxed, friendly, and easy to settle into while we get established in the area. We plan to work, travel, or generally just be out seeing the world (most likely at the beach).

We’re responsible, considerate, and happy to provide more information about ourselves if helpful. We are also flexible with our budget and length of stay. Ideally we have a kitchen/kitchenette or just a stove we can cook on.
