My name is Zach and I am currently looking for somewhere to call home. I have just completed my studies and am currently employed full-time at the University of Wollongong. Just like many others, I am stuck in the current rental crisis and have not had housing since the end of January. A little bit about me, I have always regularly kept up with rental payments and ensured the property is tidy with no damages. I live a reasonably busy lifestyle so most of the time I will be working or out of the house with friends or family. However, I do enjoy spending time at home, whether that's watching TV, practicing my art, or socialising with friends. I was previously living in a townhouse as the main tenant and can provide a rental ledger and reference if needed. I would ideally be looking for something quiet and central to Wollongong. My budget sits at $250-$300 per week inc. bills. A room with a private ensuite would be preferred, however, I am happy to share as long as the space is kept clean. If you are short-term and are looking to hand over the lease then that would also be preferred. I came to the Illawarra for University and now hope to make the area my long-term home as I step into this next chapter of my life. Please message me if you have any further questions.

Hi, my name is Anuj Jayant Dixit. I am from India. I have an admission in the University of Wollongong for Masters Programme in Business. I am neat, organised and prefer a minimalist approach. I enjoy reading, and playing guitar. I am looking for a basic room. I would 'prefer' to have a ensuite bathroom. It will be nice to have the basic furniture on board. Also something close to the University would be nice.

Hi, I am relocating from Sydney to Wollongong, and I am looking for a quiet place that will have no parties/ non smokers/ and I prefer no pets (dogs) inside the property (however I would not mind if they will be outside in a garden or somewhere separate, and the parties will be occasionally and not every weekend). I have been living in the current shared house for two years and had no issues. I can provide references if required. I am a clean tidy person and expecting the same from other housemates who will respect the sharing environment. My budget is up to $250 depending on the location, number of tenants, cleanliness of the property, bills included or not, etc. We can discuss any details in person after inspection. It would be nice if the other housemates are early birds as me and use the night for sleep, and may be interested in surfing, doing exercises, bushwalking, driving adventures, etc., however, it is not a big deal if they prefer to spend some time by themselves too.

Hi! I am currently doing my masters in social work in UOW and working part time. I enjoy a chilled relaxed household, with sincere down to earth company and people who are generally empathetic, kind and easy going. (Enough stress from work and life😂) In my free time, I enjoy music, artsy stuff, or going out into nature for hikes and walks. Would love to be friends with my future housemates and even do these things together if you enjoy them too! On Sundays I go to church, and do enjoy having a friend over every now and then. But I also enjoy quiet nights in, just to chill and unwind✨ am also not a loud person. So i fully understand and respect personal space and time. Hmu if these feel like your vibe too - or if you're not sure, we can chat a little to get a better idea :)

Hey! I'm a south coast boi (Batemans Bay) who is relocating to the lovely city of Wollongong to continue my studies in the Exercise Science field. I work at the Win Entertainment Centre and my hobbies include cricket, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, gyming, chess, and gaming. I'm energetic and a bit goofy, and whilst id like us to be mates and occasionally watch movies together or do other activities, we don't have to be best friends. I'm a pretty social person, but also like alone time. I'd like to be able to bring friends over, but not live in a party house where there's a lot of people over all the time. I don't mind if gatherings and parties are held, as long as I'm made aware of them ahead of time. My sleep schedule is pretty normal, usually around 11pm-8am. My work hours are mostly during the day and afternoon, however rare instances require me to sometimes work until late. I drink on occasion but do not smoke, however I don't mind if you are a smoker. I keep my room reasonably clean but make more effort to maintain the cleanliness of communal areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Hoping to move into a place sometime in July, preferably somewhere close to the University. 1-3 other people would be ideal, but open to more. Would love a place with a yard. Cheers for getting through this essay! :D

I'll be moving to Wollongong (from Sydney) to finish off my degree in geography. I took a year off to travel around Australia and I am ready to settle myself down again. I love exploring the outdoors and going on camping trips when I can. I enjoy cooking and I love to share meals with the people I live with. I can be outgoing and social but I like to spend time alone reading or journalling too. I'm a neat and tidy person and I appreciate living in a cleanly maintained space. Looking for like-minded people and a house that feels like a home. Ideally a longer term lease would be good as I have about 1 and 1/2 years left at uni. My move in date is flexible too. Keen to hear from you!

Hi there, I‘m looking for a place to stay in Wollongong for one year starting in mid July. Preferable in Fairy Meadow or close to the uni. I‘m easy-going and up for every fun. I like to cook dinner together in the evening and play some games. Normally I’m out all day, studying or meeting up with some friends. I like to keep my place clean and tidy and am respectful to ones privacy. I really do like pets, so if you have one that won`t be a problem. If you think we might be a match hit me up! :) Cheers
