Currently opening up my housing search to Australian, or International cities .....
Keen on either a share house situation, or a team up for a new house in a family friendly area.
Searching for $300 a week rent approximately...depends on extra travel costs ect....bills ect so it could be around $350 depending on location and travel expenses.
I have great mostly long term references.
I love sharing with others, I am pro-social, keen on homey social vibes, paying bills in advance, having an organised, secure but relaxed/positive health kindness orientated vibes.
I am considerate, kind, and super focused on impact project goals. Werking on Goal 2 Zero Hunger! So no haters please it's hurts my psyche. I just don't have the time.
I am also keen on low cost eco solutions, balconies/decks, gardens, wireless earbuds, occasional shared relational meals at a healthy local cafe, reading, books, writing, studying, recycling, bukashi bins, community gardens, civic events and participation processes. In short I am a community person.
If you love water polluting toxic chemicals that kill animals we probably won't fit, I am chemically sensitive. Bleach makes me extremely ill and cleaning vinegar is more affordable and doesn't harm the seafood, or end up in the ocean pool at Mereweather. Ocean warming means no salty fresh seafood, so count me out of unnecessary chemicals.
I am not vegan but love vegan, vegetarian food. I have a low fodmap medical diet so I could purchase a small extra fridge for animal products .....happy to work around stuff and be genuinely respectful to others food needs. I have my own pots ect and a budget/climate friendly portable induction cooker.
I really value quiet time at home and time to recharge, so interdependent vibes are ideal.
Currently study werking from home, pretty focused, occasionally at University, or in the community, or on the road away. I am from Sydney so I sometimes need to touch base for geo sanity.
Born in Australia, raised in the EU , I love travelling, ocean pools, beach walks, city buses, community cinema's, health and wellness, learning, meditating, cooking, studying and listening/singing to music.
I don't smoke, drink ect, or judge those who do, that's important but I am keen to live with people who are practising a health positive lifestyle.
I love chilling out, sleeping, meditating; and relaxing at home when not werking on projects. I like a home that is sacred chill space, friendly energy vibes and limited drama.
Not keen on bill shocks. I am a planner and a plodder.
So... I would need an outline on annual bills costs before moving in.
The NMI (National Metering Identifier) on the electricity bills gives an outline of the annual costs. (Energy Made Easy)
Keen on a rental that's up to legal specs with a smart meter and can provide the 3 hours of free power /solar spilling that started this month in July from 11 - 2 pm. Who doesn't love cost of living discounts? I have a few timers ready to go for the washing machine ect.
I like mature upfront boundaries/cleaning commitments. But nothing too micro managey, or pedantic but definately not rental novice habits, (apologies.) A participatory agreement sounds like a great solution for upfront share home conflict avoidance and management. eg how to manage the common disasters that occur in share renting, cleaning standards, emergencies, contacts, red zones needs, extra costs, end of lease financial exits.
Super keen on fresh air, open plan living and easy to clean spaces.
My favourite cleaning product is orange oil. It smells great and removes unknown weird stuck on grime from previous tenants..
For Team ups!
Not looking for hook up flatmates but singles and oddsocks are definatley welcome. I value diversity.
Animals could be ok if properties allow for it and for an inground dog composting unit to manage the pets needs.
I have a few household items to help set up a new home for a Team up, and I have found a few suitable rentals that would make great homes to share that have plenty of spaces in between; enough toilets to make it livable. Happy to send links to see if its a match.
I have 10 boxes of books, a light wire frame bookcase, an energy/water efficient washing machine, an energy efficient fridge, storage shelves, kitchen items, solar lights, a carpet cleaner, drying hanging racks, a white board, random eco cleaning stuff/tools ect, a coffee machine, washable rugs and a desk.
Keen on a bedroom, large enough for a desk.I really do like my own company and study time.
Space for books; a wireframe book case in a common area, some storage for unused extra's that don't fit with the house vibes until they can find a new home.
I am keen to live near the city, beach, city campus again. Somewhere near the Newcastle interchange? On the 11 bus route for John Hunter Hospital and UON university access.
I would prefer to live in an all ages home with women, but also pretty flexible....it's about the vibes. Keen on soft gentle vibes.
Looking for 12 months, or longer ✅
Something stable while I werk on developing projects locally to make Newcastle, Australia and the world a greater place to live for EVERYONE.
Keen to connect, or zooms for a security conscious intro before meeting in person.
I have learnt that viewing properties alone in Newcastle can sometimes be risky and intense.
I am a slow decider about important life decisions, so don't expect a rush. That being said I will respect time constraints.
If you are keen to share a home with me after reading this, or finding a property to rent ASAP. I
looking forward to hearing from you and learning about your living needs in a share home and whether we could share a home together.
I am a global citizen, so definatley welcoming of LGBTQI communities and internationals communities.
If I can't find anything in Newcastle that werks. I am happy to move anywhere with a great hospital, or university. I have been looking for accomodation for 3 months now with hardly a return message....I need to open up to other options, or cities. Give me a message if you get a lead of somewhere with affordable accomodation near a university and hospital.
My plan B pivot is storing my belongings and grabbing a train/flight for the next city.
Hit me up if you are looking for the basics for a studio...I might only be able to find furnished accomodation so the furnishings I have would need to go to a new home.
....Happy to see them go to a new home to help anyone leaving a DV situation and needing to start out again. Pass it on!
Oh forgot to mention I really like compost so a home near a community garden or with an appropriate low maintenance space for a compost would be ideal. Composts are great for feeding birds and cleaning the bin is a huge chore. Compost keeps life and bins really simple. Life is short.
Keen to connect via zoom(/or other alternatives) for secure first introductions.
