Hello there! I'm a 21 year old aspiring Earth Scientist who will be in Canberra for 3 months from May to July to take on an internship at the ANU. I'm into reading novels, watching TV shows, game a bit and enjoy travelling and just generally like going to new places. I keep clean (most of the time), don't smoke, and will respect your privacy. I am currently looking for a place at not too far a distance from the ANU. Basic amenities like Internet, Washer and a Kitchen would be necessary. Open to sharing rooms should such a circumstance arise. Also, I'd be staying for 3 weeks from 6th-26th July. If you're easy going and are kinda into the same things I am, then we will get along pretty well!
Easy going, friendly and self sufficient! Looking for a place for around 6+ months from end July. Prefer to own bathroom and stay with one other person! I am a Coeliac so kitchen hygiene is essential!
Hi everyone myself and my partner are looking for a 3 months property to rent or a house to share . We are pretty easy going , tidy ,clean , respectful people and We both work full time , I’m currently renting a whole 4 bedroom property in yarralumla so my lease will run out end of oct. I know it’s quite early to put this ad up but it’s better to leave it out here as we would like to find somewhere before we have to move out from where we are currently live , We are looking for a 3 months stay as We are planning to move out from cbr by begin of next year , We have a small dog she’s 3 years old 🐶 she’s well trained and well behaved little one she’s a inside/outside dog.
Moved to Canberra February last year to study, originally from a small property just inland of Coffs Harbour. I love anything outdoors and animals and am hopefully moving my horse to Canberra towards the end of the year, although I do also like some quiet time to just relax and read or watch netflix. I am very clean and always clean up after myself. Looking for at least a 6month stay. I deferred my uni course this year as I want to change to study part time nursing next year, but for now I am working casually as an event supervisor at Parliament House roughly 30 hrs a week and hopefully start full time work in August if all goes well. Not in Canberra until First week of August but will be visiting for at the end of June end of July and would be happy to meet up if needed.
Hello!! My name is Erinne but everyone calls me Rin :) I am born and raised in Canberra but have lived in 2 other states in Aus. I am currently looking for a share house as I am living by myself and it is getting quite expensive! I am a full time hairdresser, I work a lot of hours so I spend a lot of my time at work. I am a very tidy person and very mindful of other people’s space. I like to keep to myself but I also have a very energetic personality so I’m always down for a good chat or to hang :) I have lived out of home since 18 so I am very independent and have lived in multiple share houses. I am a smoker but would not EVER think to smoke in a house and I make sure I am very considerate of others so it does not smell, working in the hairdressing industry has taught me to cover the smell so I hope this is not a turn off.
Hello there! I’ve just moved to Canberra (from Perth) to study at UC and am looking for a room in a share house. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality and will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. She isn't destructive, doesn't dig and once settled she won't even pee or poo in the backyard. She'll be going back to WA at the end of the year so it's not a long term commitment. I’ll be studying part time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. The best thing about living with me is the amount of free food I get from work! I work in food distribution, we sell a lot of bulk items and I take home anything that's damaged.
Hi, My name is Rebecca and I am a 46 year young single female. I have recently moved down from Hamilton Island (I know just in time for winter!!). I am a manager in the food and beverage industry. I will be working lots of hours including weekends. I am easy going and although quiet, also enjoy the occasional social times, love cooking for both myself and my housemates when home. Not fussed about actual home but definitely want a decent sized bedroom and own bathroom. Would love to hear from any prospective housemates! :)
Hi! I am starting Masters of OT down at UC in August and am looking for a place to live with some awesome people. Originally from Sydney, I plan to be home every weekend/second weekend to work. I am fun, personable and respectful of personal space etc, but always up for a good chat! If at all possible too, it would be great if there is flexibility for me to have my boyfriend come to stay for a few nights a month (and paying more rent for his stay) - open to discussion. Anyways, feel free to ask me any questions!
We are two friends moving from tiny Albury, to Canberra! Jacquelin: I'm 23, and work full time for a building company. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. I love an adventure, however I also love binge-watching TV shows and movies. I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I have a beautiful 7 month old German Shepherd puppy, who loves all the cuddles. Sinéad: I’m 25 and work full time in childcare. I’m quite outgoing and love to socialise. Enjoy going on hikes on the weekend, and having a drink after work. I respect everyone’s need for space and privacy and am very tidy. I have a 6 year old Boxer Cross that’s a rescue. We are looking for someone interested in finding a house to rent, and that is a dog lover. We want somewhere to call home, and not just a house we share with a stranger. If you have any questions, or are interested, please message us.
I'm studying a bachelor of journalism at the University of Canberra. I've just had a 1.5 year break from the course and went travelling. I'm finally ready to continue studying and finish. So just looking for a room for the next 6 months. I've flatted before so I understand how it works. I'm neat and tidy, and I'm easy going. Would love to find people who are up for a chat/watch tv and chill, but also respect each other's space too.
My partner and I are moving over from Wellington to work with my former boss doing Traffic management! I’m currently training in becoming a vet nurse and my partner has a passion for music, he currently building himself a following on Spotify and instagram which is so great! We love animals and love just exploring! I previously lived in the Gold Coast and fell in love so I think it’s time to come back!
