Just moved back to Canberra after travelling overseas for six months, having graduated from ANU with a degree in genetics and immunology. I'm clean, professional, gay, and I love cooking and gardening.
I'm an easy going, fun 23 year old currently working full time in event management. I've been in Canberra for 5 years and just returned from exchange in the USA. I'm usually pretty busy but in my free time I'm usually at the gym, catching up with friends or binge watching Netflix. I'm fairly easy going, love a clean house and have lived in previous share houses so I appreciate other people's need for quiet time!
I'm a full time worker at JB HIFI and I love my job. My hobbies include reading, swimming and playing video games to name a few. I have all my own furniture and am a very tidy and organised individual. I'm that kind of person that enjoys cleaning and loves to socialise but also needs down time. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. Any questions feel free to contact me!
Originally a Sydneysider, but likely moving to Canberra for full-time psychology honours next year. I'm friendly and love meeting new people, although I do appreciate quiet time as well. I enjoy casual nights in, shopping, and hanging out at cafes. Hoping to live around UC and work part-time from February to December 2019.
Hellooo - I'm Elsa. Before you ask, yes I've seen frozen and no, surprisingly the Disney jokes haven't killed me yet haha. I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra at the beginning of February next year. I'm 23 and graduated uni back in 2015, and have been working full time in the corporate world since then. I've also lived in 3 share-houses over that time, and am a pretty clean and tidy person, especially in communal areas. I'm looking for a social house! I love movie nights, and wine and cheese nights and want/need people who I can drag (or who will willingly accompany) me to a nice bar, or cafe/food place. I love the idea of having a group of friends over for a drink and chat etc, but I'm probably not overly keen on any regular parties. I also definitely need time for myself, and respect when others need that too. P.s. i also own a cat who is very sociable and (eventually) good with other cats who i would love to be able to bring with me, but this isn't essential at all (he has a place to stay in qld).
I work for the government and have a contract until 30 March 2019 with the possibility of extension. .My partner lives in NSW so I will be away most weekends or she will be in Canberra. When I am home I'm considerate and quiet but like to share dinner sometimes or a glass of wine and a chat. I don't really know anyone in Canberra so I will be hoping to meet people along the way.
I am Tikarra, I’m 22 yrs old and work full time in a school as well as studying my Primary Education degree. I play alot of sport so I am usually out most weeknights. I’m quite easy going just looking for relaxed roommates, who are neat and tidy and can handle a bit of banter :)
Hi, I'm Anna. I'm a 20 year old full time student, working in retail casually. I'm looking for a longer term place, for more than 6 months, and am a clean and tidy person. I'm quiet and keep to myself, but am always up for a chat. Move dates are flexible.
Hello I'm Jem! I'm 23 currently trying to make a move away from my hometown and begin a body piercing career. I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have full time work where I am now and have located many suitable jobs in the Canberra area! I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for a year and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing and drawing but also love to binge watch stan and Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I like cooking I don't know if I would call myself a good cook but I do make a killer potato bake I promise you that! I have a friendly calm 6 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals. I will very rarely have a cigarette maybe once a week but never in my life have i smoked inside a house and I never will, I'm on my way to completely stopping. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so i can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed. Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances I am now unable to move from my hometown until mid-late Feb.
(TEAM UP FOR NEW SHARE HOUSE ONLY) I'm wanting to team up with 2-3 people to sign a new lease for a 4-5 bedroom house around $700/wk in a North Canberra suburb. If you're interested in applying with me, please send me a message. We can choose a suburb close to your work or university. Clean and tidy, kind and courteous. I study at UC and work part-time, I'm very friendly and sociable. I've shared before too, so I have experience and good references.
Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm moving to Canberra around mid January. I will be working full-time at DHS. I'm looking for an accommodation for at least 6 months to 1 year+. I'm neat and respect personal spaces. I cook nearly everyday, workout often and enjoy making cocktails on the weekends. P.S. I prefer private bathroom, no smoking indoor.
G'day all, I'm a 23yo public servant based in Canberra. I'm quiet, respectful, considerate of others privacy and like to keep common areas tidy and clean. I'm a pretty chill dude, and enjoy the occasional chat with housemates. Will tend to be out a fair bit doing exercise, playing tennis, catching up with mates or going on outdoor adventures. Otherwise, you may catch me testing out new recipes or playing PC games in my downtime. Looking for a new place to live in with (ideally) one other person in a fairly central location. Fairly flexible with discussing a move-in date, ideally anytime around end Jan 2019.
