Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
Moving to Canberra for a summer internship from Newcastle, so will be working full-time in the city. Ideally looking to sub-let an entire place, looking after the place while they're away over the break. It'd be great to find somewhere within walking/cycling/bus to the city, as well as being close to some cool venues for food and wine! I'm neat, clean and tidy and very easy going! Young, male full time student from the Newcastle/Hunter region. During the week, I'll relax either by watching Netflix or listening to music. Hoping to explore what the area has to offer over the weekends!
We're tidy, reliable, and fun to be around. Our ideal accommodation is an independent flat (including a private bathroom) and one parking spot. We are both full-time public servants that are relatively new to Canberra. A young(ish) couple that enjoy nature, banter, and the occasional cheeky beverage with housemates. We are very social but also respectful of other peoples' space. We like to spend our nights cooking, socialising, and taking late walks. Discussions about life, the universe, and everything are always on the table. Feel free to shoot a message if you think we might be a fit for your space.
I am a shy person but very easy to get along with , I love my own space and too keep quiet also neat tidy and respectable.i work 5 days a week from 8-4 doing housekeeping. Have only just moved to Canberra from the south coast.i work in Kingston but am not fussed on where about in Canberra. I am in need of something as soon as possible!
Well, I love video games, music, movies and board games. I’m a pop culture nerd who is looking to move closer to the city. I work most of the day do you prob only see me at night during the week, but weekends I like to go out and have fun. I enjoy being social but respect others privacy.
Hi, I'm Stacy! I'm 25 and I am working full-time in government. I am active and social and love keeping busy. I am a relaxed, clean and tidy person and I am also very respectful of personal space but enjoy relaxing and socialising over a glass of wine. I am looking for a place to move into by the end of the year, and happy to move into an existing sharehouse or start a new one (would love to look for a nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place with one other person). If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!
Hello, I am a youngish (at heart) 32 year old professional in a stable job. I'm looking for some place quiet(er) than my current place and closer to work. Originally from Queensland. I have a stack of law and arts degrees. In my downtime I hike often and play board games with friends. I am a pretty laid back person and have lived in shares houses for a long time. I don't smoke and will always pay bills on time. Ill pitch in and keep things clean, but don't really want to cook combined meals together or that kind of thing. (Happy to chat, hang out and eat together sometimes though). Like I said. I'm looking for a place that is a bit quieter. Where music isn't played loudly late on weeknights and not a party house every weekend. Ideally with others who are full time workers.
I'm currently working at the National Press Club in Barton and Selli's in the City part time whilst also recieving Centrelink benefits, implying that I have a stable and substantial income. I've been living in various short-term share housing rooms since I moved here. The owner of the current property I'm living in has had to sell due to debt. I love music, reading, plants and having a bit of banter.
Hello! My name is Sammie! I’m 23, a full time student, finishing my first year in Interior Design. I work full time at a couple of bars in the city, so my working hours are a little all over the place. I have a car but I’m thinking of selling in next year after I get back from vietnam in January. I’ve lived in share houses for almost a year now. I’m a really chilled person, tidy, and social. I have a puppy that lives with my sister, on my days off I try to take her on as many adventures as I can! I welcome anyone one who wants to join us! I can come with some kitchen appliances if you want! Fridge, rice cooker, sandwich press, smoothly maker or a stand alone freezer. I’m happy to put everything into storage if you don’t want to make room for them!
Professional, work as a Contractor for Government, early 30s with upcoming role in Canberra seeking to share a place with similar. Also a qualified chef so enjoy cooking!. Enjoy hanging out with a beer or wine, and getting out and about on weekends on the bike or hiking. Prefer newer type place and need somewhere to park. Looking at 6 months, but could be longer...
Hi my dog and I are looking for a place! I am moving to Canberra to start my grad job in February 2019! I'm willing to move in as early as December 2018 though as I know renting will become extremely competitive come Jan/Feb time. I studied at ANU for five years so I'm already very familiar with Canberra. I am quiet and I'm clean. I will look after our common areas e.g. kitchen, bins, it's not a big deal. I'm extremely easy to get along with and have stayed with mates before who can vouch for all this! On weekends I will probably stay in, go on hikes, run errands, and/or brunch. Drinking/partying/being rowdy isn't my thing. If I invite anyone over I will tell you in advance and it will be during the day and not at nighttime. I've been looking at places to stay on Allhomes and Realestate and I'm very interested in renting furnished places in Kingston. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ones are around $600 per week. Somewhere that is close to work, gym, and post-office. I will probably just order groceries off Coles Online so a supermarket being close by isn't necessary. I really want to bring my small dog, Mary, over to Canberra with me so I'm trying to look for a pet-friendly place that will allow dogs. It'll be difficult but I have friends who have found places like that last year AND I am also willing to pay extra. She's small (3.5kg), super friendly, potty-trained, non-shedding, can do like 15 tricks, and loves other dogs. She is desexed and fully vaccinated. I walk her twice a day. I would like a flatmate who has had some experience with dogs before but that's not necessary (not because I want you to look after my dog, I'll get a dog-sitter for that. Just want to live with someone who will be careful about not accidentally dropping grapes or chocolate or other toxic food items on the floor and other little things like that that only dog owners or those who have had prior experience know more about). I can also make a few trips down to Canberra on weekends in November/December to inspect the properties with my dad who knows a lot about these things. Oh and you can definitely share my Netflix account :) I'll message you my social media accounts (FB and IG).
G'day, I am an IT professional who is starting a new project in Canberra in November. The project is expected to run for 3 months from November 26th 2018 and I would relocating from Brisbane for this period. The project is based near Canberra Airport. I am easy to get along with, organised, reliable, clean/tidy and quiet. I am respectful of others and their space. I have lived in share accommodation before and I would be a quality tenant or flatmate. I enjoy cooking, travel, going for walks and an occasional drink. I will have my own car. If you feel you might have a room or a place that would be suitable, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'd like to inspect places possibly the week of the 26th November or preferably the weekend of the 1st - 2nd December. My preferred locations are not set in stone and I can be a little flexible on budget if it's the right place. Thanks for reading my profile.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane at the beginning of February to start in a graduate program. Never lived in Canberra before so I'm a little lost on ideal locations. I know I'll be working on Northbourne Avenue in Braddon. I'm looking for a max 30-45 min commute so if you think your place would work please let me know. As for me, I'm a tidy, friendly and respectful person. Happy to make a trip down - it's always good to make sure all parties pass the serial killer test ;)
I'm quiet, very neat and keep to myself. In all likelihood you would hardly notice Im there. I work Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30am - 2:30pm as a manager in a civic hotel. Im also a masters student of archaeology. I have two charming cats called Aspasia and Hammy. Hammy is social, playful and loves cuddles. Aspasia is happy being lazy, eating and having pets. In my spare time Im out with friends or home with the cats reading. Im 100% a dork and play dungeons and dragons with my friends. I wouldnt suit a party house, a peaceful place which is clean and easy going would be the best fit.
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!

Hello everyone. My name is Aimee. I am looking for a room to rent in Southside Canberra. I am a clean and tidy person who is easy to get along with. I can afford $100-$200 a week rent. I have no animals but do love animals. Am available to move in now. Doesn’t bother me if room is furnished or unfurnished. I will be spending time at the gym 7 days a week in the afternoon for a couple of hours. Needing something very soon. Thanks in advance Aimee Baker ☺️
My name is Ben and I am a 26 year old public servant who has lived in Canberra for three years now. I’m originally from Bathurst in Central West NSW. I like good food, wine, and nerdy things like reading and board games. I am a keen runner and am currently training to do a half marathon early next year. I also enjoy good conversations about news and current events and have been known to go on the occasional hike/ bush walk on a weekend. I'm looking for a housemate/s who will give me my own space, but whom I'll also get to know and hang out with from time to time. I believe in doing what I can to make sharing a house together work (tidying up after yourself, doing my fair share of clean up and not making too much noise etc).
