Easy going, busy, hard working and tidy. Like to get on with everyone and usually do.
Easygoing, considerate, friendly, responsible, tidy, social (but not excessively so) mature male. I work in IT. I'm a Sydneysider about to commence a fixed-term role in Canberra. I'm originally from the UK, but have lived in Australia for over 20 years. I have family in Sydney and will mainly only require accommodation during the week. To relax, apart from the usual social activities, I do a little bit of photography in my spare time. I'm also working on improving my fitness so I would happy to be around active (or trying to be active) people. I'm not much of a TV watcher, so I won't monopolise the lounge room! I'm more of a music and movies buff, though I like some sports - (mostly AFL, some rugby union, cricket, motorsport). I'm a good conversationalist. I'm non-religious, non-ageist, pet-friendly. I am straight, but LGBT+ friendly, I'm a non-smoker, a light social drinker and an omnivore. I'm open to sharing or sole tenancy, though my preference is more the former.
Hey Everyone I'm Sean! My housemate is planning on having her partner and his daughter move in next year so I'm looking for a new place to stay before uni starts up again. A bit about me, I'm 27 from an Irish family (so I love a good drink and a chat) from Sydney and I've just finished my second year of science at ANU and looking forward to the next. I'm into anything active running/rockclimbing, particularly bouldering/cycling/hiking etc but I also enjoy a chill night home with a pizza and some mates. I'd love to live with some cool people who are up for a shared meal or a movie night but also interested in living with someone who would prefer some privacy. Most importantly I'm clean, friendly and respectful of peoples space. I'd like to live in a place where I'd be welcome to have my friends round for a drink or two (but this isn't a dealbreaker) after a long day of uni or after a night at pool and I'm very comfortable with organising days/nights when people would like an early night or their own space in the apartment. If anyone is looking for furniture I can provide a reclining couch, a smart tv, a mid-size fridge. I also have my own bed and desk for any unfurnished rooms. I have a car so reliable parking is a must, but street parking 1-2 streets away is good enough for me. Please hit me up if you would like to know more about me. Cheers, Sean
Hi there! I am a final-year law student at the ANU with many years of sharehousing experience. I have been taking a year off in 2019, and am excited to move back to Canberra in February 2020. I am looking to join a sharehouse with two housemates, preferably later year students or young professionals. Also interested in one-bedroom properties. I am clean and tidy, extremely respectful of common areas and my housemates' privacy, and have excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. My main focus in 2020 is studying, so will mostly keep to myself. We don't have to become best friends, but I'm definitely up for a glass of wine or a trip to the farmers' market. I also come with a cat! Kirby is 5 years old, and very well-behaved. He has a standard cat personality - can be very friendly, but likes his personal space. Most importantly, he is very pretty - pictures are available upon request :) Please message me if you think I'd be a good fit for your household, or if you have any further questions! Currently based in Sydney but can come down for inspections/interviews.
Hey I'm Luke, I am a qualified painter by trade currently living in Canberra with my parents and am looking to move out. I am an honest, hardworking 24 year old, who enjoys gaming and socialising. I am looking for a room share with some like minded people. Looking to move out in December but happy to have look or discuss any potential places beforehand. I have my own car and can bring furniture if required.
I'm Josh, i'm 22 work full time as a plumber, respect other people’s space and don’t mind a couple beers after work or a chat and always down for an adventure or too catch a gig in town. On the weekends if I’m not working i try and get out and go on some adventures, camping, hanging out with mates etc.
I am looking for a room until I find my own place. Prefer a short term stay but flexible. I am quiet and respectful but also enjoy a chat over a meal or a glass of wine. I enjoy getting out and about going for walks and socialising with friends. I work full time in Barton.
Hi :) I am a 24 year old male moving from Melbourne to start a position in the APS. I like being outdoors, going for walks and watching sport, but also enjoy relaxing and watching a good Netflix series or playing board games. I'm more than happy socialising but also appreciate my own time. I am reliable, responsible and respectful of others and hope for the same.
Hi Everyone! I'm currently completing my studies in Adelaide and have secured a graduate position for the government so am looking to find a place to live in Canberra. I have a car so a car park would be a must and ideally would like my own bathroom (but not a deal breaker if not). I am a very clean person and am looking for people who are the same. Also a huge animal lover, so pets are fine! I like to hit the gym, go for hikes and watch Netflix. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be a good fit!
Hello! My name's Hayley and I'm a 24 year-old professional musician looking to move out of home. I've been in the same place for 24 years and need a change! The life of a musician is a busy one, so lots of early starts and late nights so you likely won't even see too much of me! However, I do love the occasional wine or a sneaky G&T and a chat. Looking to move out ASAP and very excited about it. Looking for places around the CBD and potentially around the parliamentary triangle.
Hey everyone! I'm Holly and I'm a Public Health graduate moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a grad job early-mid January. We'll get along if you're looking for a flatmate that: - generally keeps to themselves but will always be up for banter - has prematurely aged past their partying days but will never say to a glass of wine or a GnT - keeps active - if you want a hiking buddy hmu! - will keep our shared spaces clean and organised - advocates for intersectionality - you might occasionally walk in on dancing badly while cooking I've been offered an 18 month contract so preference for accommodation that's 12 months or more!
