Hi, my name is Sagar and I am from India. I am looking for a single room in Canberra as I am going to start working full time at the Crowne Plaza hotel. In my free time, I like to watch Netflix or go out to a bar and have some beers. I don't know how to cook so I won't be using the kitchen a lot.
I am moving to Canberra to take a job as an APS. I am quiet, clean, friendly female looking for a 6 month stay in a non-party but friendly house. I love dogs (but won't be bringing one), cycling and a chat over coffee. I am married, so will travel to see my husband in Albury every 2 weeks. Would like a house that would be ok if he visited me for a couple of nights once a month.
Hi there, my name's Felicity and I'm a current master student in physics at the ANU. I'm an easy-going and friendly person who's up for anything. I think getting along with housemates is important so I guess above all else, I'm looking for people that can make me look forward to coming home. When I'm not plotting away at uni, I like to go cycling and bouldering with my friends. Ideally, I'd be looking for a place either close to the city or near a bus/tram stop as I go to Sydney once a month and lugging around a big suitcase can be a hassle.
I'm a student entering my final year of university at the ANU (International Security), and am looking for somewhere to live in the Inner North for 12 months. I currently live in Braddon, but that lease is ending on December 9. I work part time in hospitality when I'm not at university, but I also enjoy running and cycling, reading, going to the movies, socialising. I'm keen for somewhere with chilled out and peaceful flatmates.
I'm looking for my own room with BIRs, large enough for a double bed and desk, while finishing up my PhD at ANU, ET 3-6 months, with a possible longer stay, dependent on PhD/work situation. I'm aiming for locations within a 15 min driving distance from ANU. I have savings which can guarantee my share of rent and bills for at least 7 months, and also have intermittent work demonstrating, tutoring and invigilating. I'm a very clean person with few obsessive quirks. I'm very happy to pitch in on the shared household chores. Ideally, I would want my own bathroom, or only have to share the bathroom with one other. I do weekly food prep, so would definitely need a functional kitchen and preferably a good oven to bake goodies to share. I have a keen interest in outdoors sports such as tennis, basketball, hiking, cycling and running. I enjoy reading, music, Netflix, sewing, knitting and just having a good chat. I play the harp, but don't practice at weird hours. I'm usually doing my PhD or playing tennis. I am friendly and down for the occasional dinner/drinks/hang but definitely would not suit a party household. I love animals, particularly puppers and kittens, and would be more than happy to join a share with pets (I do not have my own pet/s). I am currently sharing an apartment but our landlord wants to sell and my current housemate is thinking of going to Sydney. I have lived in 2 shares over the last four years and know how to be a considerate and respectful housemate.
My name is Jeremy and I am an easygoing, IT Professional in his 30's who has recently moved to Canberra. I am social but also respect peoples privacy. I am clean and like cooking, so happy to cook an occasional meal for the house.
In between work, uni and sport, I like to watch Netflix (well, any tv streaming app). My favourite cooking method is the oven or microwave... So I make minimal mess when preparing meals. I am tidy and respectful of space; would enjoy chats here and there. For work, I am a cafe all-rounder and barista - so I love coffee and would always be down for brunch! I'm looking for somewhere of a similar dynamic and somewhere in which I can stay long term (>12 months).
Hi! I'm a Canberra local and work full time as a Soft Tissue Therapist, I'm easy going, tidy and active. I have a medium sized well trained doggo who I take for walks twice a day who gets along really well with people and other dogs. So I'm looking for a place with a medium or large yard with a secure fence or a room on property somewhere surrounding Canberra. He's not really an escape artist though, so if you aren't too sure about the fence but think we might be a good fit let me know and I can come and have a look. If you love dogs but don't have time time to own one yourself or you already have a dog and want them to have a friend to hang out with during the day it could be perfect :). I spend most of my spare weekends going to the coast to visit my parents (dog in tow), snowboarding or finding fun places to go for a hike.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into an already established sharehouse. I would prefer a smaller place, maybe only 1 or 2 other people if possible. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix (aka I'm a huge homebody). I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie/trashy TV marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. Pretty flexible with move-in dates and can do any time between the first of December to the 30th of Jan :)
Easy going reliable, quiet and tidy room mate. I don't mind having the occasional chat but i do respect privacy. Just finished a bachelor of Software Engineering at the University of Canberra. Looking to move into Canberra as I have a full time job lined up to start January 6th. Enjoys sports, going to the gym and socialising, but also likes a quiet time inside and respects sound levels.
