Jinwon

Hi, I’m Jinwon, a 26-year-old Korean guy currently in Brisbane on a Working Holiday Visa, valid until June 2027.

I’m looking for a clean, friendly and respectful home from around 12 August. I’m hoping to stay for at least three months, and ideally longer if the home feels like a good fit. I’m available to inspect before then and can make arrangements quickly.

A little about me: back in Korea, I studied Environmental Engineering with a second major in Mathematics, and worked in a university research lab. I was also lucky enough to have a paper published in Frontiers in Toxicology — although at home I’m much more likely to be making a simple meal than conducting an experiment. No kitchen laboratories, I promise.

Before coming to Australia, I worked as bar support at a musical pub alongside musical performers. It was busy, fun, and sometimes felt like working backstage in a show. It taught me how to stay organised, clean up quickly, and get along with all kinds of people.

I love travelling, hiking and spending time outdoors. Some of my favourite memories are from trekking in Patagonia, especially Torres del Paine and Fitz Roy. I’m also into weight training, gaming, and finding good food or coffee spots around the city. I enjoy a friendly chat at home, but I’m also very comfortable doing my own thing.

At home, I’m a non-smoker, tidy and considerate. I clean up after myself, respect shared spaces and people’s routines, and appreciate open communication and privacy. I’m looking for a calm, friendly household where everyone is easy to live with.
