Looking to move closer to the city again! Currently have my own place but the lease is up in October so seeing what’s out there and looking for some cool, fun house mates! I’m recently single, 30yo working in Marketing and a bit of a workaholic. In my free time you’ll find me at the beach, road tripping or hopefully at the gym because I’ve just signed up looking to get into the gym life. Also a sucker for a good tv show binge and definitely likes a cocktail or two! I’m looking for a new / modern townhouse or apartment with a pool - I’m super clean but my cooking skills are average. I love my own space but I also get along with pretty much anyone I meet. I have a house full of furniture but happy to compromise on what to take to the new place. Looking for likeminded house mates to make this an amazing summer.
Hey I'm looking to team up with one or a couple of people to move into a place in Brisbane! I'm not fussy which suburb, as long as it isnt too far away from the city! I work at Kangaroo point, I study full time also & I do enjoy my glass of wine! I enjoy my own space, but also enjoy sitting down having a chat! Let me know if this appeals to you :)
Hello! I am a 37 year old female looking for a lovely, drama-free place to live in Brisbane, by the end of September! (Please note, I cannot move until my lease expires in September. Cheers) I would prefer to share with like minded people who are between 35-45 years old, and enjoy a peaceful life! I currently work in retail, and I am also an Art Therapist. I enjoy creative endeavours and gardening, so some space for these pleasures would be essential to my survival! I have spiritual/new age interests which makes for a meaningful, quirky and fun life at times. I also enjoy bushwalking, op shopping, camping and kayaking. I would like to have my own cat. This is very important and I cannot stress this enough. LOL. A pet friendly place please! (Please note: I'm not looking for a tiny cupboard-sized room or a converted sunroom.... its just not my thing. Cheers) I think I am good to live with because I am considerate, respectful and self aware; funny, friendly but I also like my alone time; I always pay rent on time. I am quiet, but not anti social, and like a harmonious living environment. Not sure what else to say! My current lease ends at the end of September, so lets get on with it! Hope to meet you soon! *Genuine responses only, and please have a current listing of your place/space for me to peruse*
Hello John and James here! We're two mates looking mainly to team up with some like minded people though we will consider rooms in an existing sharehouse. John- I'm very friendly, outgoing, get along with just about anyone and love meeting new people. Always up for beers, chats and a good laugh though I'll always respect privacy and alone time. I work full time as an apprentice carpenter and on the weekends I enjoy nights out, going to the beach, hiking, catching up with mates or just having a chill one. I've lived in a sharehouse for a while now and absolutely love it. Moving out of the current place as its being sold and I'd also like to be closer to the city. I'm fairly flexible in terms of where we move into though Id love a place with a yard and somewhere to store some tools. I'm also happy with pets if you have any. James- Hey I'm James, I'm currently a full time apprentice Electrician. On my time off work I usually keep to myself but I do love a chat and a beer/night out with mates. My mates would say I'm friendly, polite, easy to get along with and tidy. First time into a sharehouse and keen to meet some new people! Please message if you would like to know more about us and perhaps we can catch up. Cheers, John & James.
Fitness enthusiast and busy professional. I work in the Fortitude Valley and trains at Goodlife 4-5 days a week therefore I’ll be spending very little time at home during the week. (If you ever catch me home, you’ll most likely find me in the kitchen -bonus points if you have a blender!) I’m easy-going and highly approachable (not before my morning coffee) who enjoys cheese and wine on a Friday. However I value my own personal space from time to time especially after a long day at work. Weekend mornings is when I would usually do my chores, run some errands and sometimes go out and be social later during the day/night.
My name is Dee, Kiwi social worker looking for an easy and relaxed place to live. Work in the CBD as a shift worker -12-10pm. I am a very easy going person who is respectful, and clean. Just looking for similar people.
Hi! we are a social, easy going, tidy and fun couple. Daniel is a Safari Guide from South Africa and Val is from Brisbane. Both working part-time and we are okay with sharing the space with pets. Looking for something till March next year as Daniel will be off on another adventure.
I am an electrical engineer who will be soon moving to Brisbane for the new job. I am a sensible, respectful and tidy person. I will be working in Murarrie , so I wish to find a room within 15km radius to this area. Thank you for your help!
I'm a professional working full time, not a messy person, and won't leave the kitchen in a unkempt state (who likes cooking in a dirty kitchen?). I clean up after myself and am more than happy to be a friendly, social roommate, however like everyone I do enjoy private time. I also keep a fairly active lifestyle (running, cycling, rock climbing, etc). Most of the time, anyway :) Ideally I need at least room for a desk with a PC and books etc., on top of regular storage. I also have a car, motorbike and two bikes (pedal power) that will need to go somewhere relatively safe. I'm looking preferably for somewhere with more than one bathroom, and if there's undercover parking or space for my car (and/or motorbike) that's a big incentive for me!!! I have my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is best. Message me if you think you may have something for me to consider, or if you want to team up to find a place.
I’m a full time emergency nurse that moved from Adelaide to Brisbane in November last year and am absolutely loving it here! Because I work shift work I am barely home but when you’ll either find me at the gym or playing roller derby but I do like to relax with some Netflix or a drink on the deck. I love to travel and go home or interstate as much as possible. I’m a very respectful and clean housemate that will always take share in doing the housework ie dishes, cleaning the place and taking the bins out. Anything else you’d like to know feel free to shoot me a message :)
Hi, my dog Tori and I are looking for our new home. We're currently living by ourselves in Forest Lake, the house is for sale and I'd love to move closer to everything I enjoy, have someome to share a home with and split the bills so money can be spent on more fun things. A leafy area would be superb as Tori and I love walks. About me - I've called Brisbane home for a year and half. I work as an administrator/coordinator at a mining company. I love that it pays the bills but no so much that it's a mining company. I love yoga, stand up paddle & dancing. In my spare time I'll also be at the markets, movies, brunch/dinner with mates. I'd rather go out with friends than have people over. About Tori - she's been my girl for 16/17 years. We literally found her on the street as a puppy and I think she’s a whippet x cattle dog. She's super chilled and respectful. She loves sunbaking, bones and paddle boarding. She doesn't ask for anything, if you ignore her she'll do the same. If you're in the mood for hanging with her she'll more than likely jump on board with that. She does lose hair and roll in grass and because of this I've taken on the responsibility of most of the cleaning in my previous sharehouse. I'm after someone who'd like to make a house a home and who'd welcome Tori. I'd welcome a housemate who'd like to join me on market trips etc.
I'm 30 and from London and have been in Australia for 2.5 years and loving every second. My background is working as a Human Resources advisor, however I am currently working in a pub while I study part time. I am into health and fitness and try to be as active as possible by going to the gym 5 times a week. I also like to go hiking as a way of exercise but also to see this beautiful country. As long as I am busy and outdoors I enjoy most activities! I'm a fun and sociable girl who enjoys meeting new people and am extremely clean and tidy (I actually enjoy tidying up haha!) I am a positive person who sees the good in everything and like to be around like minded people. I have lived out of home since I was 16 so I am very well house trained and respectful when living with other people. I am wanting to live with people who will become my friends and not just people I live with
