Jiyoon

Hi everyone! I’m Jiyoon Chung, 28 years old, from South Korea.

I arrived in Sydney last week to enjoy my Working Holiday experience! I’m currently job hunting — I worked as a barista in Korea for a long time, so I’d love to find something in a café, though I’m also open to trying something new. I have savings to comfortably cover my rent and living expenses while I settle in, so please don’t worry about that!

I’m planning to stay in Sydney for about 6 months, and I’m looking for a comfortable place to settle in for that time — ideally somewhere I can stay long-term rather than moving around. I just got here, so I don’t have a car yet, which means parking/garage availability isn’t a concern for me at all!

A bit about me: I’m a non-smoker and I do enjoy a drink, but I’m more of a “chat and sip” person than a loud party person — I like having fun conversations over a glass rather than getting rowdy. I’m curious about people and love getting to know my housemates, but I also need my own quiet time to recharge. I enjoy shopping and walking out with friends, and on my own time I love cooking and watching movies.
I’d prefer an all-female household, and female-only share houses are a big plus for me! Looking forward to meeting you all 😊
