Hi, I’m David, a 63-year-old travel professional and owner of my own travel business. I’m looking for a comfortable, friendly and relaxed place to call home around Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay, Cammeray or North Sydney.

For the past ten years I’ve been living with and caring for my elderly mum. She has recently moved into aged care, so I’m now looking for a new long-term home and thought sharing with the right person could be a great fit.

I’m friendly, independent, tidy and respectful of other people’s space. I enjoy a chat and a laugh and would be very happy sharing the occasional meal or drink, but I also have my own life and certainly don’t expect us to live in each other’s pockets.

I run my own travel business and travel overseas regularly, particularly to Thailand, where my wife currently lives. I can sometimes be away for several weeks at a time, while of course continuing to pay my rent in full — so you’ll occasionally have the place largely to yourself!

Ideally I’m looking to share with just one other person in a good-quality 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment. Having my own bathroom or ensuite is important to me. My budget is approximately $350–$450 per week for the right place.

I’m looking for somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply renting a room, and hopefully a flatmate who appreciates a friendly, easy-going and respectful household.
