Ella and Xavier

Hello!

We are a New Zealand couple (me, Ella, 25) and Xavier (24) moving to Brisbane on the 22nd September and searching for a room we can call home!

I will be studying a PhD at the University of Queensland and Xavier is hoping to get into FIFO work as an engineer. We enjoy hiking and keeping active.

If he lands a job doing FIFO, he will be based with me in Brisbane for the week/s he has off, but will mostly be working away for weeks at a time. This means we will pay couples rent for our room but Xavier will be actually living in the house very little. However there is a chance he will be based full time in Brisbane as an engineer if FIFO doesn’t work out.

We have both lived in flats before, and I have also lived overseas, and in numerous cities. We are both very chill and easy going and looking to make some friends in Brisbane! We’d love to be in a flat that enjoys socialising together but also respects each other’s space - we’re not looking for a party flat. Something close to public transport would be ideal so I can get to uni easily.

Please reach out with any rooms available from 22/09 onwards. The room must have a wardrobe and be able to fit a queen bed and desk.
