Hi, I'm David, I'm looking for a furnished room in an existing share house or potentially a granny flat Ideally for around 6 to 12 months. Furnished is my main requirement, otherwise I'm pretty flexible.

I work full time as a courier driver and spend most of my working day out on the road in my Volkswagen Crafter, so I'm generally out during the day and like having somewhere comfortable and relaxed to come home to.

Outside of work, music is a big part of my life. I studied a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and play guitar, and once I'm settled, I'd love to connect with other musicians and be nice to play some regular local night gigs if the opportunity arises. I also enjoy surfing, going to the gym and travelling whenever I get the opportunity.

Personality wise, I'm a bit of a mix. I can be very social and enjoy a chat, a laugh or hanging out with housemates, but I'm equally happy doing my own thing and definitely have an introverted side. I'm respectful of other people's space and don't need a household where everyone is constantly socialising.

I'm tidy, considerate and easy going. I'm not a smoker and don't have any pets but don't mind if my flatmates do as I love furry friends. Between full-time work, the gym, surfing and hopefully getting into playing music, I tend to keep pretty busy and won't be someone who is home 24/7.

I'm in my 40's although I probably live a somewhat younger lifestyle than my age suggests. I enjoy keeping active, meeting interesting people, music, traveling and generally making the most of life.

I'm mainly looking for a comfortable, friendly and respectful place to call home for the next 6 to 12 months. I'm pretty flexible on the type of household and happy to have a chat to see if we'd be a good fit?
