My name is Caleb, im a 35yo kiwi who has made brisbane my home for the last 14yrs. I work full time as a manager in a steel processing and distrabution facility, it keeps me busy mon-fri with my days starting at 5am. When im not working i enjoy catching up with friends, and weekend adventures. I do also enjoy my down time during the week, and occasionally on the wknds, with quiet evenings listening to music or watching a good show on Netflix. Im clean and tidy, and i respect others personal space. I would prefer a place with a private ensuite with the room, & aircon is a huge bonus too.
I have a bubbly personality, love cooking and I try do something every weekend. I am neat and tidy, I also like having time to myself as well. I work in Capalaba, as an admin for a Certifier company.
Hey I'm Nikki and I am looking for a place to call home with my 1 year old cat Amory. I'm quiet, quirky and down to earth. I like staying in, watching tv, playing games, going for walks, yoga and going to the cinema. I enjoy the quiet and keeping my home neat and tidy. While I usually like keeping to myself, I am not opposed to socialising and being friendly. I am looking to teamup with 1 person and find a reasonably nice and newish 2 or 3 bedroom pet friendly property that is within walking distance to bus and train between Greenslopes and Murarrie. I rely on public transport and I don't have a car so any parking spaces are all yours. I am also happy to find a room in a quiet and clean home, preferably with 1 or 2 people max and a separate living area if I can lucky, just so the cat doesn't bother you. Unless you don't mind! I work full time and can afford upto $220 a week rent for myself and I need to move out by January 31st at the latest. Would like to finalise a place at least a week before that date. My cat Amory must be indoors at all times and has had cat flu so she unfortunately can't be around cats who haven't had it. She is a bit of a cheek but adorable and she is the world to me, so would like to find someone who is a cat lover who would be cool with her being around.
Hey there! My name is Mia and I’m in my second year of a Business and Behavioural Science double degree at the Queensland University of Technology. I'm from the Gold Coast, so I'm looking to move up to Brisbane to avoid the commute that is slowly eating away at my sanity.. I’m hoping to find something that is convenient to either Garden’s Point or Kelvin Grove campuses (either by foot or public transport) , and am happy sharing with girls, guys or couples. Having my own room is a must, and although I have a preference for my own bathroom, I'm happy sharing too. I also have a car, so parking either on or off street would be good. I’m pretty chill, and really love my music, especially acoustic guitar and live gigs. I've travelled all over the world, and have spent time travelling extensively through Asia, and even spent some time living in America as well. Whilst I’m often up for a good chat (and especially love sharing travel stories) I also like my private time, and I’m pretty quiet and respectful of others. Although I like a tidy place, I am not over the top about it, and if you have any pets, I will give them heaps of love too (unless you keep spiders, which I probably wouldn’t love - haha). I would ideally like to find people who share a good sense of humour, are kind hearted, open-minded, well organised and mature, to teamup or move in with. Feel free to message me if you think we could hit it off. I look forward to hearing from you :)
ABOUT ME: Hi there, I am an easygoing, respectful, full of common sense, humorous but not rude Sydneysider ;) who is looking for her new home in Brisbane! ABOUT ME & MY FUTURE FLATMATE: I'd love to live with someone that is (similar to me) friendly, sociable, easy-going but also understands the need for privacy when necessary. MY PAST RENTAL HISTORY: I have been a lease-holder myself for the last 8 years, so you know I can pay my rent on time, handle landlords and share with others :) as if that wasn't enough I am more than willing to be flexible around stay length. But I'd prefer somewhere for a minimum of 6 months+ at least. WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN BRISBANE: I will be attending Griffith University to begin a Masters of Speech Pathology at the Nathan campus. I will be extremely busy, study 3-4 days (full time on campus) and in placement 1-2 days a week, in the first year. This is all during normal business hours. MY IDEAL HOME & LOCATION: I am looking for somewhere to live that is homely, easy-going, clean but not obsessive, quiet when it needs to be but not too quiet (I am not a hermit :). I am looking for an area that doesn't necessarily need to be right next door to Nathan, but rather an area where there is a community field, shops, entertainment, safe, close to transport, close to Brisbane CBD, Nathan campus or in-between! I have my own car and will also need somewhere that I can park easily on the street (if necessary). WHEN CAN I MOVE IN: I will be arriving in Brisbane on the 3rd Jan 2019 staying in temporary accommodation and will be looking for the right person/right place to live. I would be looking to move in immediately, once I find the right flatmate/home. Cheers, Rach :)
Working full time in the city and travelling every now and then. Like to keep busy and am looking for a social household but also have their own lives. I can cook and happy to share! Please do not contact me if the property is not in the suburbs listed above.
Heya! I’m a hairdresser and make up artist. I work part time in the City and also freelancing in my spare time. I am a fun person and social, love spending time outdoors, having a wine and a bit of a foodie. Looking for a house mate/s who is friendly and not just a house mate. I’d love to have a wine or dinner together ocassionally, or just chill out and watch netflix. Like most people, I also I like to relax and have my own space when it’s needed too. I’m mostly looking for a housemate for a new lease in Bulimba for January. Moving date is flexible. Please message me for the appartment details. You will have your own bedroom/bathroom/car park and house to share. I would prefer the larger bedroom with an en-suite in a newer/ modern appartment or house in the Bulimba.Walking distance to Oxford Street. I have a few house hold items also. I like things tidy and organised and clean up after myself. Would prefer someone who is evenly clean and tidy also. If you think we would get along well, send me a message! 🙂
I enjoy plants, the outdoors and trashy comedy. I work full-ish time and am studying my masters part time, so I can be quiet at times. I am a nurse and work shift work. I am clean and considerate, I expect the same from flatmates. I can get along with pretty much anyone. I am looking for a place that is a home - where sometimes TV shows are binged and dinner had over some wines. I own a washing machine, TV and microwave for communal areas plus some plants and bedroom furniture. I am looking to stay for 6 months or more. Move dates are flexible. If you are interested in having me a part of your household or teaming up please contact me.
The basics; I hit the gym most days of the week and love my training but don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a couple of drinks just as much. I really enjoy my sport and watching the NRL and hopefully you share that interest as well so you don't mind it being on the TV during footy season (or even going to a few games) I work Mon-Fri in the corporate world south of Brisbane, so weekdays I'm always a bit of a nana and early up/early to bed. I’m happy to be social, but respect your space and hope for the same in return. Sometimes after a long day/week, I like to cook my dinner and retreat to my room and watch Netflix. I will always respect you if you choose to do the same. I would like to find a flatmate who doesn't mind sharing a meal/drink/shooting hoops/going to the gym/heading out every now and then. I have my own bedroom furniture and happy to contribute or purchase any other furniture. My own bathroom is a requirement and I need parking, but happy for that to be on-street. I'm also happy to pay a little extra in rent each week if it means I can secure the master bedroom, (but not a deal breaker with the right flatmate) Move date is around the end of March/start of April, getting in early! Happy to start a new place with someone or move into an already established place. If you think you'd be interested, let me know :)
Hi my name is Tahlika & I’m 19. I currently work full time in the city mon - fri. When I’m not working I enjoy going to the gym, keeping active & finding new places to indulge in delicious food (ultimate foodie). I’m clean, easygoing and enjoy my own space but I’m always down for a cheese platter and drinks. Looking for fun, likeminded, positive people that are enjoy socialising for a laugh but also respect personal space.
I just moved back to Brisbane from Adl and looking for a place in or near Norman Park area. I work full time as an Opthalmic technician and love being social and having a glass of wine on the weekends. I’m looking for a housemate(s) that are similar in age (22 -35yr) who enjoy going out occasionally and a potential gym buddy (optional). I am very clean and love interior design and do prefer a more modern place. I’m super easy going and laid back and also respect privacy etc. I am flexible with move in dates but preferably after Christmas/early Jan. please DM if you think I’ll be a good fit 😊
Grew up in Brisbane, did the travelling thing, recently accepted a job back in Brisbane city :) looking for a household with flat mates in their mid 20s to early 30s. Don’t need a car park. Don’t mind animals, and, maybe wishful thinking, a place with a pool. Easy going, conscientious, sociable yet respectful. Enjoy a bit of cycling on my days off.
Hi I am Gaurav, 28 years, I am a consultant and I work full time in the city. I am usually very busy during weekdays and finish work around 7 pm. On weekends I enjoy socialising so I hang out with my friends, I also workout at gym and play tennis.
Hey! I'm an Irish doctor looking to share a place with one or two easy-going people. I'm moving from Perth to Brisbane in late January as part of my training, and I would love to have something organized before then! I would prefer a house rather than an apartment if possible, and need parking. Ideally I would like to have air-con in the bedroom and my own bathroom as well, but I'm not too fussy about these. Let me know if you're looking for something similar!
We are a New Zealand and a Brazilian couple looking to move into a new place together. I (Dana) am currently in Japan. I have been living here for the past 5 months and will return to Brisbane just after Christmas while Rodolfo is working Monday to Friday. We are both extremely chill people who work during the week and like to relax after work and meet with friends on weekends. We keep our mess restricted to our room haha and would like to have a good relationship with all of our housemates. We are looking to move into a new place before I return so if you have space in your house for an easygoing couple like us please feel free to send us a message. Thanks, Dana & Rodolfo
I've just finished my first year of uni studying design and am looking to move before the start of next semester. I am currently working part time both as a waitress and a nanny and am planning to move to England mid next year to study so only looking to move in for the 6ish months before I leave. I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy. I spend most of my time socialising, working on art projects and volunteering at festivals.
My name is Nick. I work full time at an office job in the city and I'm generally pretty quiet and very clean. Looking for someone considerate and easy going to live with. I game and work out a lot, so if we have similar interests that would be a bonus.
Who are we? Ben - 32 years old, relaxed, happy, up for a chat and also enjoy peace peace and quiet. State Account Manager in FMCG, week trips away on work and live a corporate life style. Pantea - 35 years old, very loving and caring bubbly personality. Currently works in childcare. What our life looks like; - An indication of mine & Pantea's lifestyle on Monday – Friday; Very basic - We come home from gym at around 7pm, cook, eat, go to our room, relax and watch a movie. - We are both very friendly and happy to chat but are also both very quiet and very considerate of others space and quiet time. - An indication of our lifestyle on the weekends - We are active, enjoy being out of the house doing activities like hiking, the beach, at a friends, staying on the coast etc, honestly we are rarely home on the weekends. - We don’t really usually use the living space, so you have all that to your disposal also. We are both very very clean and tidy people, admittedly cleanliness is verrryyyy important. I'm looking for people who are mature, considerate, clean, respectful adults. Over 30 so both of us are in that mind set as mature adults we do not like a house that is full of loud noise, mess, parties, etc. Home is a place for peace, of course we are not opposed when a house mate wants space and perhaps an evening to have others around for dinner / drinks. However not into party homes. Not into drama or causing any issues - We are very easy to get along with. :-)
Hi, I am a law student in the final semester of my Honours degree at QUT (Second degree). I work part-time and will be going full time after Sem 1. I study a lot! I have lived in Brisbane for many years, but recently I have been travelling. Living in London working/travelling Europe and living in Cambodia travelling SEAsia. I like to have my own space, but I am also a sociable person. I am flexible with who I live with, I prefer a group of people. I have a large beautiful dog who is 11 years old which is very old for her type. So I am looking for someone who would allow my dog in a properly fenced yard. Also if there is a way I can be close to the yard or if the room goes on to the yard even better, so she can be with me.
Hi everyone, I am a 23-year-old vet who has been flatsharing for the past 3 years. I am clean and quiet and enjoy a chat but also my own personal space. I am flexible but an ensuite would be a bonus!
I'm very chilled and easy to get along with, clean, tidy and a non smoker. I'm happy, positive and love being outdoors. I run my own business and paid acting work as well as drive Uber. I'm a very social person and enjoy a wine every now and then. I'd love to live somewhere with a like minded happy person.
