Haruka and Hikari

Hi! We’re Haruka (28) and Hikari (29), a friendly Japanese couple coming to Melbourne on working holiday visas.

We both have nursing backgrounds, with 5 and 7 years of professional experience. We’ve also both worked in cafes in Japan and hope to work in Melbourne’s cafe scene.

We’re friendly, tidy, reliable, and respectful. We enjoy meeting new people while also respecting house rules, shared spaces, and everyone’s privacy.

We’re looking for a clean, furnished private room with our own bathroom, preferably near Melbourne Central. A building with a gym, pool, or sauna would be a lovely bonus!

It would also be great if we could occasionally have friends visiting from Japan stay overnight, with prior approval and in accordance with the house rules.

Our total budget is up to $500 per week for both of us, and we hope to move in around 12 November 2026.

We’re looking for a comfortable home where we can make wonderful memories, meet new people, and enjoy our life in Melbourne.

We’ll always take good care of the home and be considerate of our housemates.
