Looking for a Female Housemate to Find a Home With
Hi, I'm Alison.
I'm in my 40s and looking for another woman to share a house with. The house itself is yet to be found, so ideally we'd find somewhere together that works for both of us.
I'm hoping to share with someone who has lived in a share house before, understands how shared living works, and is happy to contribute to keeping a home running smoothly. That means doing your share of the cleaning, paying bills on time, pitching in with household tasks, cleaning up after yourself, and helping with a bit of gardening (weeding and mowing the lawn).
A little about me
I live a fairly quiet life and enjoy things like walks, markets, museums, painting with acrylics, and catching up with friends. I'm not a night owl and appreciate a lazy Sunday morning sleep-in when I can. I'm a non-smoker.
I'm reasonably tidy without being obsessive. I like a home that feels comfortable, lived-in, and cared for. I'd be happy to share the occasional meal, chat about our week over a glass of wine, and enjoy a friendly household, while also respecting each other's space and independence.
I currently work from home a few days a week.
Like many people, rising living costs have me considering a house share again. My ideal setup would be a larger home with two living areas so we can each have our own space when needed.
