I am a Chemical Engineer and will be starting a full-time job at Downer EDI in Hexham on 12th November. I am preferably looking for a place near a train line but eventually going to buy a car, so anywhere within 15-20 minutes drive of Hexham ideally. I am 25 and enjoy watching and playing sport, a recent linguistic enthusiast and always up for going away or out on weekends or when I have time off work. I am a friendly and social person and looking for flatmates that are up for the odd chat or a drink/ beach bbq (or anything fun) on the weekend. I am also very respectful of others' privacy and of course enjoy my me-time too. Preferably looking for a furnished room.
Brilliant top floor apartment in amazing location. Tyrrell street backs right onto Darby street and all it has to offer. The beaches and Anzac lookout and the CBD are a short walk away and with summer just around the corner will be ideal! The apartment has amazing views from the balcony of the Hunter River and the harbour. Out the living room windows there's also views of Bar Beach and a leafy canopy. Massive open plan living, dining and kitchen. Partly furnished as the previous flatmate is taking some of his furniture with him. You would be taking the master bedroom 4.3x3.5m, which will be unfurnished. There is a large number of off street parking bays which are never filled and a near unlimited amount of free street parking. Renovated kitchen and bathroom top off this gem of an apartment!

Its also 10 minutes to Newcastle city and a 20 minute drive to the University of Newcastle. The property is a 3 bedroom house with wooden floors throughout, a shared bathroom and a big back veranda overlooking a spacious backyard. There is ducted airconditioning/ heating. The room up for rent is a large bedroom unfurnished so you will need to bring a bed, and something for clothes/ belongings as the older style of this gorgeous house does not have built- ins. The rest of the house is mostly furnished, but there will be enough room to fit another lounge in the living room if you have one ! The third bedroom is quite small and has been used as a study/ store room for any extra things. The backyard is also generous and could suit a dog although there is no side fence, previously i had made one ! Pets will need to be on a seperate application.

I’m 49 and employed full time. I’m very easy going, clean, neat and tidy. I like to keep fit and healthy. I am also studying and have about a year to go. I much prefer nights in but occasionally enjoy going out for dinner. Don't mind a chat and sharing meals or the occasional drink (not a big drinker). But also respect that we all need our own space. I am relocating for work. I can provide references from my current flatmates.
I work full time as a Nurse and Midwife, so I work shiftwork. I am 34. Love my job, the outdoors, travelling, relaxing with a wine, prefer early mornings to late nights, keeping healthy, good food, road trips and of course my pup. Lexi is 6 year old lazy staffy, she is very quiet and very well behaved. She is clean (loves a shower), loves a ball, loves the beach. She doesn't bark, dig, chew, mouth, jump or anything that annoying dogs do. She honestly will lay in her bed in my room all day eveyday. She is completely totally 100 percent house trained! Have returned from travelling and am looking for either starting a share house with another or living with one other in an established house. I like a clean home, that's peaceful, leafy, warm, and a nice place to relax. I am vego but dont mind what you cook. I also have most furniture needed for a house.
I’m Kim, 30 and a full time beauty therapist. Super friendly, very tidy, always pays bills on time, makes excellent cheese platters. I have a 3 year old groodle named Sunny who is a medium sized dog. She lives outdoors but sleeps on my bed of a night. I work big hours, mostly 10 hour days. In my down time I like to be active, love a glass of red here and there, socialising and cooking. Looking for something close to a 12 month lease preferably!

Our beautiful brick, 4 bedroom-er in Adamstown is located just a short 8 min walk to Westfield Kotara, short drives to inner city Newcastle or Merewether beach. Always easy to find a park and able to get to Charlestown easily. The house is set with two fridges, ducted air-conditioning, washing machine, TV, internet, couche, chairs and a complete kitchen so it would suit someone moving out of home, college or just traveling light. There is also a garage and a small bike shed. Rent is $170 a week (INCLUDES INTERNET) with all bills split 4 ways.
Hey, I’m Dustin. I’m a pretty chill guy and I’m looking for somewhere a bit closer to my place of study. I’m currently doing my cert III in Design Fundamentals at Tighs Hill TAFE, which means I’m out being busy Wed to Fri. Currently looking for some part time or casual work to fill in my free time and up my income. I love to cook and I’m pretty damn good at cleaning up after myself, I’m pretty independent and I believe I’m an easy person to get along with. I do like to have a chat now and then but I do like my alone time. Honestly just really keen to take another step forward into independent living.
Hey there, looking for a place to move into by the 21st of November. I am reliable with rent, work part time and go to uni full time. I'm social and friendly and love some good banter and a laugh. However, I do enjoy my down time and keep to myself usually after work (I do like my privacy) I'm not home a lot, as I work a fair bit. I would prefer to live somewhere where its social but I have my own space too. Im usually the kind of person in my down time who likes to go grab coffee, find somewhere new to explore or eat out for dinner. So if you're down for that I love the company. Shoot me a message if you're interested.
Treehouse in the city! Great location: 10 minutes walk to the beach and close to everything. We call it the Treehouse - it's the top floor of a 1930s art-deco building, which is very light and airy and has a great view to the treetops. It is an old building, but it has lots of character. It's a bit of an oasis in the middle of the city. It's a perfect summer-time house as it's downhill all the way to the beach. Also close to transport. It's a super social building (we know most people in the building). It's a really special place and has a great sense of community. Be prepared for sci-fi movie nights with the neighbours or Sunday family dinners (if you're keen) Who we want: We have a diverse group of friends and our house is a safe place for all. We want someone who is easy going, non-judgemental and respectful.
I recently got offered a graduate position in Newcastle so moved up (preferably first week of march) from Melbourne. My current housemate is moving to Europe and selling his house so I am out on the hunt again. I am originally from Mumbai but been living in Melbourne for over 7 years now. Since I'm still pretty new to Newcastle, I'd like to move into a friendly house where I can make friends and not just be another housemate. All my ex housemates are great friends of mine and I'd like to continue that. I'm fairly busy during the week with full time work, gym and trying to make my dinner (which takes surprisingly long given my amateur skills). However down to hang out during the weekend, be it going to town or having a few quiet ones at home in front of the TV. Other interests include playing and watching all kinds of sports, outdoor activities (hiking, swimming) and also looking to take up surfing in Newcastle. I've been living in shared houses for 7 years now so am aware of all the drills. I'd like to think I'm fairly neat and organised and like to keep my place the same way, If you feel like you have a room available for me at your place or if you're keen to team up and look for places in Newcastle, feel free to send me a message and we can go from there.
The house is a small but comfortable 2 bed + study/spare room. One main bathroom and an outdoor toilet located in the laundry that’s connected to the back of the house. Close to the pacific highway, fuel stations. Close to redhead beach! Pet friendly. House is fully furnished, bedroom can either come furnished or not. I do have wifi connected but not included in rent.
