Work full time as an Engineer. Easy to get along with. Currently living in Islington and sadly my current housemate is moving to Victoria, so taking the opportunity to move closer to the beach and hopefully finding a house with proper heating.. I have a stack of loved vintage/retro'ish furniture. Just missing a washing machine/fridge.. About me: Love the outdoors, camping, sailing, snow.. etc. Do yoga when I can fit it in. Any type of arts/craft/drawing. Love cooking for people and sharing food. Would love to live with someone clean, relaxed, friendly and sociable. Keen to start a Team up with 1 or 2 people close to the beach.
Hi my name is Sunny, 20 years old. I'm generally looking for a place that's close to the beach! I'm friendly, responsible, love the outdoors and love to have a good time. I love to go out, run, enjoy many beverages. I'm easy going, clean and a genuine person. Please feel free to give me a message if you're interested. Thanks!
Hey :) I’m currently looking for the some roommate(s) to start a new share house or if you've got a room on offer a new place to call home. For the most part, my week is made up studying and working. When I am not busy with those two commitments you’ll usually find me at the beach, the gym, a cafe, watching documentaries, playing sports (most likely encouraging you to join me), sharing random facts with you and exploring new places. I’m after somewhere that is pet friendly as I’ve got a fully house trained rescued fur ball coming with me, she just naps all day. I’ve rented since I was 19 so I’m aware of how it all works 🙂. As a housemate I’m fun, clean and respectful. I’m all for spaces that are homey not just a rented space. I have a fridge , portable veggie garden , few kitchen things and some plants 🙂 -Sen!
I'm Reegan, I'm 25, now that I have finished studying, I feel it's time to once again move out. I'm a Home Care Worker so I'm really flexible with where I live as my job takes me throughout the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions. I'm a neat and tidy person who has a few OCD tendencies. When I get time off I like to spend it with my boyfriend, friends and family or spend time in the kitchen. Message me if there is anything else you need or want to know.
I'm fun, friendly and very laid back. I like clean and tidy and like company but also understand and respect the importance of personal space. I'm new to Newcastle and currently am working 2 jobs while taking a gap year at uni. Looking to live with people/s who are just as friendly and fun as me. Not fussy about gender. Cheers!
Hey prospective housemate, I am a current PhD student at the University of Newcastle. Originally from India and am looking for a place to shift to by the end of the year when my current contract ends. Shy at first but very easy to get along with. I also keep to myself every now and then so I wont be one of those pestering housemates :-p. I love to travel, watch movies / tv shows (any GOT fans?), cooking, enjoying a couple of drinks and spontaneous plans! I'm looking for a room to rent around $200-$250 with potentially all bills and WiFi (high speed) included. I like to keep things/house very clean hence would be willing to help out with the keep up of the house as and when required. Hope to find someone and of similar like and interests. Feel free to drop me a message and we can organize a time to catch up and discuss further! Cheers!! Anish

I am 36, work full time in professional services in Newcastle. I am looking for a house share with people who are able to hold a reasonable conversation, working full time, social, respectful, have the ability to clean, dont take the piss. I own an investment property however still saving for the first real home. I also try to not take myself too seriously. I am well traveled and have lived abroad and interstate. I have a little dog that is pretty funny, he smells good and likes food. Im open to move date - just looking for the right people + place.
We live in a cosy little terrace house on the leafy boulevard that is James Street. It is a mere 200 metres from Beaumont Street which is really handy. With cuisine ranging from the exotic (Cappadocia Kebabs) to the spicy (Raj's corner) to the Australian staple schnitty and chips (The Greenroof). So many tasty choices. You'll never save money again! Centrally located we're about 10 mins drive from the beach in one direction and just 15 mins from the uni in the other. If you're really adventurous Hamilton train station is just 10 minutes walk away - 5 minutes if you power walk. The room its self is the biggest in the house, with its own entry from the front of the building. In the photos thats a queen size bed, so theres plenty of floor space. The room can be furnished or unfurnished up to you for what is more convenient. Our lease ends in February next year so we'd need someone until then. Can potentially renew the lease for next year as well if thats the way it goes :) Now all that's left is to come have a gander.
Hi, I am a very busy, full time working interior designer looking for a new place closer to Newcastle. I do have a little Maltese cross dog named Muffin who has to come with me. I am very sociable, clean & easy going and would like to share with people who don't mind having a chat, hanging out and maybe having a drink after a long day. Please contact me if you think you may have a room for me :)
Close to the University of Newcastle (walking distance). On the 104 bus stop line and 1 minute walk to the main bus route (100). The house is completely renovated with new floorings and kitchen. There is some furniture but you would be required to bring your own bed and any additional items.
Hi, Im 29 i move and bounce around alot. I am currently off working due to a knee injury but it is rehabilitated and im looking for a sales job, I may study aswell if starting a family doesnt happen as soon as iv planned with my partner in another country. What else, I am an ex business owner, i took a break due to bad chest pain and my health was more important. Im energetic, out going, love my fitness but also very quite, I keep mainly to myself. My lovely roomie is moving out, so I now have a room available in my townhouse in Cooks Hill. The house is furnished, has air conditioning, gas heating, a new kitchen with a dishwasher and floor to ceiling wine rack (feel free to fill it up 😉), modern bathroom, and a second brand new shower and toilet in the laundry. There is a great little courtyard out front with a BBQ and I am trying (often failing) to grow things – so if you know anything about gardening I'm keen to hear it! It's an awesome location, walking distance from supermarkets, pubs, Darby St, etc. There's plenty of on-street parking (and you can get a permit from council), but there is also sometimes space out the back to park, it's technically a visitor space so it's only occasionally got another car in it. The room is large and unfurnished with a built in wardrobe – but to give you an idea of the size, my previous roomie had in it a queen size bed, dresser, 2 bedside tables and a guitar stand, and there’s still plenty of room for activities. I'm after someone relaxed, friendly, independent, social, clean, etc. ideally late 20s/early 30s. I'd love a housemate who loves Frank (the cat) and can be conscious of closing the external doors because he's an indoor cat. Extra brownie points if you love animals, recycle and choose free range eggs.
We're both pretty laid back people, clean and easy to get a long with. We were both working full time for the last 5 years but are now currently studying at Newcastle uni and traveling back and forth from Port Macquarie(not ideal) until we can find a room to rent so we can cut all the traveling. Hopefully someone out there can help us out 😁
Hi! I'm from the UK here on a working visa. I am currently working part time and am looking for somewhere to stay. I will need to leave my current house at the beginning of September, and am going to leave Newcastle at the end of November to go and explore Australia a bit more :) I am a neat and tidy person, and am equally happy to keep to myself or socalise. I enjoy the occasional night out and a movie night in. I love to cook and bake, so a good kitchen is a plus! If you would like to know anything else, please message!
The room is nicely sized, suitable for a queen or double bed, with built-in wardrobes. The living area and kitchen is open-plan and spacious, and get's the afternoon sun. The whole apartment is timber floored, with furniture to suit! There's also a balcony accessible by both bedrooms and the living room for afternoon beers in the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, and all brand new utensils and dinnerware for you to use. The apartment is on the 6th floor and is centrally located in Newcastle West - walking distance to Market Town for groceries, Hunter St and King St for pubs, restaurants and clubs and shops. There's also a gorgeous cafe directly across the street for coffee lovers.
Super easy going, like to be social but love my space also. Can cook and live like a proper adult without too many issues. Shoot me a message with any questions! Keen to be anywhere in the Newcastle region. I also have a fair bit of standard house furnishing stuff (i.e. white goods and kitchen things) and id love to take part in furnishing a place. I work part time with Vinnies and the NDIS as well as studying engineering (not a nerd I promise ehe) at UoN. I like to keep fit and eat well. I am pretty easy to get along with and love a laugh, I'm not a huge partier but don't mind an evening bevvy or two on occasion. I'd prefer to live close to the city if possible. I'd hope to move in with someone that could potentially become a good friend. I play piano from time to time and binge watch way too much netflix. Any stay time from 3 months would be sweet :) If you're interested shoot me a message I can't wait to hear from you!
I'm 19 years old. I am looking for a new share house to live in. I'm wanting to move to start a new adventure. I currently work part-time/casual in retail in multiple locations in the Hunter region and also studying business administration at Maitland TAFE 2 nights per week. I'm a clean, respectful, social and considerate tenant. I'm looking to move around the 20th of August.
Hi, Myself, Greta and Bennett are looking for a person to join our ranks in a rental. Our ages are 24, 20 and 21 and we are all clean, hygienic, fun and talkative people who love to watch a good movie but also like to keep to ourselves at times. Between us, we have two dogs, Colin and Donald and a Cat named Milly. We are looking for someone who is respectful, clean, hygienic, quiet and offers similar traits to us fun loving people. We love to have a casual drink ourselves, but PLEASE no party animals :) No smokers please. an empty room will be available and a shared bathroom with one other person. House will be furnished!
Hello :) I'm in Newcastle for a project with work and instead of staying in a boring hotel I'd prefer to have a short term rent. Happy to share or take an entire place. Looking for my own bathroom and room furnished with a bed. I'll be around Monday-Friday most weeks. Will occasionally stay on the weekends. I'm social and enjoy hanging out, heading out for dinner, having a few drinks, exercising and doing whatever really. Please get in touch if you have something that might suit! Cheers, Tom
Absolutely love living here! My current housemate is moving away for work and the last thing I want to do is leave! Great location - 10 mins into the main CBD of Newcastle, Local shops within walking distance, Awesome cafes and coffees in walking distance too! Great quiet street and neighborhood. Double lock up garage with a yard aswell. Overall a great homely feeling area, Couldn't fault it.
LARGE air-conditoined master room with private balcony (4.60 x 3.10 m). Perfect for summer. Just two blocks from the centre of Darby St (near the Oriental Hotel). The room is furnished with a near new pillow-top queen size bed, linen, awesome leather recliner, and it will fit a desk if necessary. It has built-in robes, side tables, and own balcony too! So all you need to bring is yourself. The room is in a two storey townhouse with ducted air-conditioning throughout and everything required for the house has been provided. There’s a garage for lots of storage too (no cars though, but there’s visitor parking). The house is extremely well looked after too, I get a cleaner in regularly so you don’t have to worry about taking turns to do the bathrooms, etc. Rent excludes bills, and a bond is required.
