We live in a cosy little terrace house on the leafy boulevard that is James Street. It is a mere 200 metres from Beaumont Street which is really handy. With cuisine ranging from the exotic (Cappadocia Kebabs) to the spicy (Raj's corner) to the Australian staple schnitty and chips (The Greenroof). So many tasty choices. You'll never save money again! Centrally located we're about 10 mins drive from the beach in one direction and just 15 mins from the uni in the other. If you're really adventurous Hamilton train station is just 10 minutes walk away - 5 minutes if you power walk. The room its self is the biggest in the house, with its own entry from the front of the building. In the photos thats a queen size bed, so theres plenty of floor space. The room can be furnished or unfurnished up to you for what is more convenient. Our lease ends in February next year so we'd need someone until then. Can potentially renew the lease for next year as well if thats the way it goes :) Now all that's left is to come have a gander.

My lovely roomie is moving out, so I now have a room available in my townhouse in Cooks Hill. The house is furnished, has air conditioning, gas heating, a new kitchen with a dishwasher and floor to ceiling wine rack (feel free to fill it up 😉), modern bathroom, and a second brand new shower and toilet in the laundry. There is a great little courtyard out front with a BBQ and I am trying (often failing) to grow things – so if you know anything about gardening I'm keen to hear it! It's an awesome location, walking distance from supermarkets, pubs, Darby St, etc. There's plenty of on-street parking (and you can get a permit from council), but there is also sometimes space out the back to park, it's technically a visitor space so it's only occasionally got another car in it. The room is large and unfurnished with a built in wardrobe – but to give you an idea of the size, my previous roomie had in it a queen size bed, dresser, 2 bedside tables and a guitar stand, and there’s still plenty of room for activities. I'm after someone relaxed, friendly, independent, social, clean, etc. ideally late 20s/early 30s. I'd love a housemate who loves Frank (the cat) and can be conscious of closing the external doors because he's an indoor cat. Extra brownie points if you love animals, recycle and choose free range eggs.

Double lock up garage with a yard aswell. Overall a great homely feeling area, Couldn't fault it.
