You'll be situated right in the heart of the city, only a five-minute walk to the beautiful Newcastle beach and break-wall, less than 50m to the nearest cafes, bars and shops, bus-stops, and a stone's throw away from the light-rail. It is a spacious double room with a built-in spacious wardrobe and two large windows which allow the afternoon sunshine to trickle in. The room is private, so you are not overlooked by anyone. The room can be fully furnished if you require. All furniture was purchased by Thomas within the last 3 months, but since his semester at University is over, he is returning to Denmark and no longer requires it. All bills (except Wi-Fi) are not included in the rent, but will set you back around $100 a quarter. Parking is available outside, however Hunter Street Mall is very limited. Parking is free between the hours of 5pm-9am, and there are usually plenty of parking spaces out the front of the flat at this time!

My name is Corey, I’m a 26 year old Guy and work full time in the Air Force. Best thing about living in this area is how central it is to everything. - The beach is 5km away - Westfield Kotara is 4km - The Uni is 3km - Waratah shopping village and Hunter Stadium are 500m away. I’m going away for a while so You’ll be living with my housemate Bridget. She’s 25 and works both at the Mater Hospital and as a music teacher. We’re both usually out and about and as much as we love a night out we keep the house ‘party’ free. The vacant room is 3.6 x 4.2m and has a triple built in wardrobe. The spare room has a brand new queen bed - or you can bring your own. The house is fully furnished with a 65” TV with a sound bar and a Netflix account. We’re quite tidy people and whilst still fairly social, never have parties here or carry on at night (as I own the place). The house has ducted air con throughout, a very secure garage and heaps of on street parking. Georgetown is Newcastle’s highest ‘owner occupied’ suburb so it’s really quiet and clean, as are the neighbours. I’ve got a front, side and back yard and no pets. I intend to split elec/water bills. I’d be happy to rent a room out if I can find someone who is respectful of space, clean and friendly as I’ll be away with work for 4 months.
