Amazing location, 50m to Dutton Park station, close to Woolworths and Coles. Commercially laid out kitchen with new appliances and leading out to a recently rebuilt deck. The floors have recently been completely re-polished and the common areas are in the process of being repainted. The bathroom is the largest room in the house and contains a cast iron bath, standalone shower with 50cm shower head and also has storage and a deep freeze. Under the house has storage, laundry and theoretically (or at least at earlier times) was additional bedrooms. Bluntly, the place is a older and is a few years from being knocked down and turned into a glass and steel monstrosity, internally it has large rooms, it has had significant internal work to keep it alive, high ceilings and keeps temperature well. The yard has been returfed and new garden beds installed, there is a scary level of chillies currently growing. We are in the process of renovating the traditional veranda which was given a hatchet job in the 70s and turned into a sunroom, a new life as an office, this is taking place over June. There are two rooms available, both are 3.2m by 3.2m. Fully furnished with new beds arriving next week. The rooms are in the middle of the house and open out to the office and the centre hall. Wanting to get relaxed friendly group of people together to make a share house that everyone can have an input towards and essentially make their home. The house and rooms are fully furnished and have been decorated with indoor plants, tapestries and other random cool Zen looking things to try and get a positive vibe happening throughout the house haha. All rooms come with a big wardrobe, desk, chair linen and double bed – no tiny single beds in this pad :D The rest of the house has everything from plates to cutlery. The University of Queensland is a 3km walk away and QUT is a 15 min bus ride. Bus stations are within a few minuets walk away and the train station is a 1km walk away. Google Duke street Annerley to get an idea of transport options if you like. Heaps of parking for cars behind the house also if needed. I’m after people who would like to move into a place and contribute to the overall household in a positive way.
