We are looking for a friendly, responsible "senior" lady (over 60 years) to live with our independent and very active mum who is 90 years "young" and has mild alzheimers. At this stage, mum has occasional memory lapses but is otherwise in relatively good health for her age. Ideally you would be retired, share similar interests (e.g. gardening, sewing ) and be very dog friendly. Hopefully, a strong friendship will develop sharing occasional meals and outings. Whilst mum is very independent, her situation is closely monitored to ensure her health and safety is not compromised. Mum does not need a carer however you will need to be aware of her daily situation as she has occasional health issues which are immediately addressed by her son who lives close by. Her house and the bungalow are both extremely clean and tidy as is her garden which she works in daily as her main hobby. Mum also has two small dogs which she loves and frequently walks. Shopping, parks and a bus stop are all close by. The bungalow is in the backyard and detached from the house (15 metres away) and is entered via the side gate down the driveway. It has a sink and wardrobe but no other facilities. The toilet and shower is in the main house. The weekly financial contribution is to assist with covering your power and water usage. There is no internet provided however there is coverage. Meals can be worked out with mum who eats with family 2/3 times a week. I look forward to hearing back from you.

The kitchen is well equipped, we have central heating and evaporative air-conditioning throughout the house so you can get a good nights sleep There is an extra upright freezer in the laundry (handy) and 2 toilets.
