If you're into cycling (as I am), Beach Road is a short ride (5 km) down South Road (bike lane). The room is large enough for a queen size bed, bedside table, a chest of drawers. The windows are north facing onto the street. There is a small wardrobe that comes with the room. There is room for a small desk, otherwise there is space in the living/dining area for a large desk. A fair division of labour. I prefer sociable people, who can talk about issues as they arise. Your friends are welcome visitors. The landlord is very attentive to things that need fixing. He comes and mows the lawns and does gardening when they need to be done. There are no pets. Cat's are possible, but dogs are not possible due to landlord's aversion to them. Electricity, gas, internet, and water are shared evenly. We don't have a home phone, we rely on our own mobiles for that. Internet ($20 per month per person adsl2+ unlimited) can be just added to rent to save on hassle. Bond is actually $920.
