Hi there, I´m looking for a flatmate to share this beautiful apartment with me in Bowen Hills! My current flatmate´s visa is expiring so we are looking for someone to rent out her room. The apartment is very spacious and modern. It has a kitchen, big living room and balcony and two bedrooms with two bathrooms (so you would be having your own bathroom). This is the definitely the best apartment I´ve stayed in so far in Brisbane so I´m hoping to find a new flatmate to share it with me. The apartment is furnished except for the bedroom. However, my current flatmate is willing to leave her almost brand new (3 months old) queen size mattress in the room with a very affordable price. Otherwise the apartment has everything you need: a washing machine, dryer, dish washing machine, kitchen accessories and most importantly, air conditioning!! On top of that, the property has a pool and a small gym. The location is also excellent! You can walk to Fortitude valley and the bus stop to the city is in just 2min walk away. The rent is $220/week for both of us. However, we currently renting out the car park because we don´t own a car so the rent is only $205/week each. Very good price for such a big and nice apartment! Very spacious room available in early June/late may. As I've only just moved there are still a few boxes lying around in the photos. Your room has a 3 door sliding wardrobe, queen bed and access to your own bathroom (just outside your door). Your room and the living area are all air conditioned. The apartment has a balcony, with nice views of the city and a breeze. Internet will be included and other bills split between 2. There is easy parking on the street and it is super close to the Northern Busway and Lutwyche Road and walking distance to the RBWH. There is also a park on the street with a bikeway, picnic tables/bbq and breakfast creek running through it. There is great free street parking and bike racks available at the complex also. Modern appliances throughout the house and kitchen, dishwasher and your general kitchen stuff (mixer, baking ware, entertaining dishes etc) are all included. The living room is pretty spacious and I I have a desk so if you have a laptop, we can share a study space. I'm also a huge cookbook fanatic so if you're into reading about food, the selection is great, I also have a fair amount of novels and magazines so you should never get bored.
