I have a room available in a 2 bedroom unit. The room is carpeted, has a balcony attached, a double door built in robe and is unfurnished. Extra storage is available outside the room if necessary, or if you have your own furniture there is room in the house to display or store it. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there is a heater in the loungeroom. The house is looking a little empty at the moment as my housemate moved out and had owned most of the furniture here as he was here for 4 years and I have been here for 1. I have the lease for the next 3 months, with an option to extend for an extra 3 months, which I will find out about before the 5th of October. At the moment the lease will end on December 5th. The room is $140/week not including bills, but if you would like to pay rent inclusive of bills it will be $180/week which includes electricity, water and wifi (no gas connection). Bond is 2 weeks rent ($280), if this is an issue I am willing to negotiate.

Pretty large 3 bedroom home in the Yallambie/Macleod area. Cheap, tidy and in a great area. - close to public transport, city and la trobe/rmit universities. - 5 minute drive to various shops. Pretty laid back. Just ask that cleaning be shared when necessary and bills paid on time. We are looking for one/two more people to join our 3 bedroom townhouse along Manchester Crescent. It's a new-ish 2 storey house. Bottom floor features a fairly large reception and a open kitchen/living area. Top floor features 3 bedrooms - 1 master and 2 medium-sized ones. There is also a nice little backyard out back. More pictures will be available when we move in next week! Location wise - the house is well-situated, literally next door to Genesis gym, and a 5 min walk to Coles/Uni Hill. Another 5 minute walk will bring you to Tram 86's stop number 70. As the estate is not situated along the main road (i.e., Janefield/Linacre drive), you would be exposed to less noise in the evening and early morning. The house overlooks the Plenty Gorge Wetlands, providing heaps of fresh air, breathtaking views, and the occasional kangaroo or two (especially if you are the sort to go out for a walk late at night). You will be occupying one of the medium-sized rooms and sharing a bathroom with me. As we have just moved in, we do not have the furniture for your bedroom, so you will need to provide your own bed, table and the like. The rest of the house will be furnished. Rent is $700 per month, excluding bills, which we expect should cost another $50 to $100 per month on top of the rent. Both of us have cars so parking might be a problem. However, I'm flexible and willing to leave my car at uni. About you - we are looking for a reliable, responsible and neat person to join the house. House parties are a definite no-no (although the occasional guest is okay). We also prefer someone without pets, and definitely someone who doesn't smoke and do drugs. I will be moving out of this property on 23 September 2017 and am looking for someone to take over the room. The apartment is situated along Janefield Drive, opposite Genesis Gym and a short 5 min walk to Coles/Uni Hill. Another 5 minute walk will bring you to Tram 86's stop number 70. The apartment itself is pretty new. It is on the ground floor and comes with a sheltered parking slot. There is a balcony that overlooks the Plenty Gorge Parklands which provides an awesome view in summer. The rooms include: a common living area/open kitchen, a shared bathroom/toilet and the 2 separate bedrooms. Your bedroom comes with a built-in-wardrobe. The furniture in the bedroom belongs to me but I am willing to sell some of it. You will be sharing the apartment with Regina. She holds the lease and has been settling all the financial nitty-gritty stuff. She's a great person to live with - quiet, clean and considerate. She's working most days of the week so she will be out early and back late. Rent is $650 a month (or about $150 a week). Utilities are paid every three months, and come up to about $10-$20 a week (depending on usage). Internet is paid for separately and is $30 a month. The lease on the apartment ends in March 2018, but there's a pretty good chance of getting it extended, if you plan on staying long-term.
