We have a medium to large, furnished bedroom in Brunswick in need of a tenant. It's a fairly homely place and we do a pretty okay job of keeping it clean. Current housemates are a 33 year old male, and a couple - a 34 year old male and a 30 year old female who both work office hours. We also have a fat cat. We're a pretty functional, makeshift family. We hang out together when we're all around, enjoy the odd meal together or a bottle of wine or two The room itself is west facing, gets some pretty awesome sunlight and has a built in robe. There are two bathrooms in the house so you'll only be sharing that with one other person. We're in an awesome spot, shops, public transport, pubs, Sydney Road, Brunswick Baths are all within walking distance. There is plenty of on street parking if you need it and we don't mind if you smoke, just as long as you do it outside in the courtyard. Ideally we are looking for a long-term tenant to be added onto our lease. Rent is $866 PCM paid on the 20th of each month, bond is an additional $700. Hello :) we have one huge light-filled room available in our Brunswick East home. Room is unfurnished or with a huge wardrobe that can be purchased. The majority of the rest of the house is furnished but due to the sad departure of our housemate, we will be losing a few things. It would be amazing if you had or were willing to contribute some of these things, however it's also not a deal breaker! Alex, Alisha and I are looking for one housemate at the start of March as we sadly farewell Luke. Our house is very rare in size for Brunswick East. With two seperate large living areas, reverse cycle air con and a fully equipped open plan kitchen including a dishwasher and breakfast bar. There are 2 bathrooms which are split between the 4 of us so you'd only be sharing with one other, and a seperate laundry. There is also a large sunny North facing backyard with an outdoor setting. Our herb garden is tucked away and provides us with plenty of herbs all year round. The street is very quiet and the house is located less than 1 min walk from Lygon St. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars all within a few mins walk. We have unlimited NBN, Netflix and Stan.
The house is a typical old Brunswick house, maybe not the prettiest thing in the world but plenty of space and some wacked out design choices. We have a backyard which has veggie garden aspirations, but is currently slightly messy. There's a couch out the back too for smokers and plenty of storage space in the garage. Most of our socialising happens around the lounge and kitchen, and sometimes gaming happens there too. The house is on the 55 tram line with shops close and about a 15 minute walk to Sydney road. The room on offer is medium sized and can fit a queen size bed and a desk and shelves. It's available straight away but we know it sometimes takes a little while to get organised so for March we'd just do $120 a week for however many weeks the person is in there for. After that it's $460 a month and bond is also $460. Bills are split between all the housemates and average out to about $70 a month including internet. We'll be having people round next week in the evenings to have a look at the space and see if we all get along with each other.
