It's in the ideal spot in Melbourne, not too far from the city, (walkable if you have an hr and half) but also not too crowded. We are in between Lygon and Sydney road, and a few blocks north of Albion. 5 mins walk to very good felafel. Big kitchen, good for cooking in, well comfortably two can cook at any one time. Two bathrooms which we have found very handy. One doubles into our laundry. Top load washing machine has probably seen better days, but the bonus rocket ship sounds adds to the charm. House has split system air con/ heating. Room cute but cosy, with a built in cupboard for clothes and space enough for a king bed and a little more.
Small 2 bedroom unit located in the heart of Brunswick. Close to all modes of public transport, but by far the easiest is tram 1 or 8 located at the end of the street. From there it's only one 20 mins ride that will get you to the Melbourne University Swanston St tram stop. There are plenty of are great cafes and pubs all within walking distance as well as some well-known restaurants too. Supermarkets (Woolies, IGA, ALDI) are also conveniently located. There is also Brunswick Bath in the area (2kms) for those who enjoy fitness. The unit has just been newly renovated, so there is a brand new kitchen, spacious bathroom and nice private courtyard. There is also one carpark at the back of the unit lots, however there is always plenty of on street parking too. Ideal for Melbourne Uni students or those who work close to Parkville.
Hello! I/we need a housemate! The house is a cosy little 2 bedder in Brunswick East, just (and I mean just) off Lygon Street. It’s a great location, and you can run to the tram stop in under a minute or walk in 2 if you’re an organised person (for trams 1 and 6). There’s also Nicholson St at the other end of the street to get the 96. I have most of the important things (fridge, washing machine, lounge), so you mostly just need your bedroom stuff. If you do own some of these things though, they can be accommodated as I'm not attached to the ones in the house. Rent is $250 a week paid monthly plus bills, and is available now! (I will take down the ad when it's not, so please don't write asking if it's still available).
A LARGE fully furnished room. All bills included (internet) Excellent natural light. The house has a nice big back yard. Located 2-10 mins walk away from shops, public transport, supermarkets, restaurants, library, swimming pool and gyms. 15-30 mins away from the city CBD via public transport.
