Our street is off Sydney Rd, nearby to Albion and Lygon Streets. The 1,8,19 trams are all within a 5 minute walk, and the upfield line at either Moreland or Anstey is under 10 mins walk. We have been in the house for around 18 months, with no plans to leave anytime soon. The house was renovated just before we moved in, comes with all the mod con's - dishwasher, washing machine, bath and shower, seperate second toilet, massive - though mainly unused - backyard. We are fully furnished (apart from your room) but happy to accomodate some new things if need be! The room itself is cosy at 4 x 2.4m but has a wall of built in wardrobes for storage and comfortably fits a queen bed and other furniture. We have internet and spilt bills in thirds. Close to Trams 1,8 and 96, and also close to Bus routes 506, 508 and 955 Looking for someone to move in asap, prefer a housemate that pays all bills on time and does not damage or steal my stuff! Don't have to be super clean but should clean their own bathroom and occasionally offer to vacuum etc and not be too messy. I work full time monday to friday so would prefer a housemate that does not have the TV up too loud at night after bedtime and also does not have one night stands over too much. Bedroom 1 Enough room for a Queen/King bed, desk, etc. There is an extensive built-in robe as well as shelving in each room. The upstairs room is larger with more wardrobe space. There are four bedrooms inside the house - two downstairs and two upstairs. There are two bathrooms inside the house - one upstairs and one downstairs (only share with one other person). Downstairs there is a large claw foot bath and upstairs there is a spa bath. There is also a converted apartment out the back (fifth person). The house is very comfortable, very large, fully-furnished (except bedrooms) with great furniture and top notch kitchen appliances, including microwave, double dishwasher, smeg oven and all other kitchen needs. The tram stop is at the end of the street at Jacob's Reserve park. Tram number 55, stop 38, runs along the end of the street into the city and leaves regularly. It takes 10 minutes on the tram to get to Melbourne Uni. Quick drive and good parking at either Anstey or Jewel train stations. You're also only 30 minutes away from the CBD depending on transportation mode, traffic and weather conditions.
