The Location of the property is great. Smack bang on the 96 route.. perfect for those hot days when you wanna get down to the beach. But also just great for transport to the CBD and neighbouring suburbs. The back patio is massive, and catches the rays all day! 25 min walk to Brunswick, Sydney rd where you have fantastic bars, restaurants and my fav, Savers! great for a bargain! There's also parks near by, and a brilliant walk or cycle trail at the back of the house along the Merri Creek. Unfortunately my wonderful housemate of 2 years is moving to Qld and I'm on the search for someone to share my surprisingly large townhouse. I've been here for 4 years and really don't want to move, as I can't find anywhere as good in Brunswick for the price - or the position. The room available is a good sized unfurnished bedroom with a walk in wardrobe. It is at the back of the townhouse away from the street and has a large south-facing window and a smaller north-facing window. The property is a 2 level townhouse that has a large lounge room, dining area, large kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven and gas cooktop, one bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet downstairs, a study/home office, separate laundry and a small grassed and fenced courtyard. Plenty of storage space and a garage (the driveway also fits a car and we have a resident's parking permit for on-street parking). It does not have aircon, but does have a gas heater in the lounge. Furniture-wise the house currently has a front-load washing machine, 2 fridges, microwave, one large couch and armchair, several bookcases, outdoor table and benches and a large gas BBQ. There is also a large desk (with enough room for two computers) and two-seat couch in the study. Monthly bills for Gas, Electricity and screamingly fast NBN average around $110-$130 each. The last water bill was $70 each for 3-months. The townhouse is situated between Lygon and Nicholson Streets giving you plenty of access to Trams (1, 6 and 96) and loads of places to dine and do things.
