I have 2 rooms going in a 3 bedroom conjoined house in Northcote. The rooms are quite large, with plenty of room for a double bed, clothes racks and/or wardrobes. One looks out onto the front yard and street and gets loads of afternoon sun and thus, is quite hot in summer. The other is a darker, cooler room. Both rooms are unfurnished. The house has a nice big kitchen, lounge and yard, 2 toilets, shower (with good water pressure), close to multiple public transport options and a nice big park is located up the road. A gas heater in the lounge works magnificently as does the washing machine in the laundry. There's remnants of a veggie garden and compost in the back yard plus a shed. The veggie garden could easily be resurrected. Also a very important feature is fairy lights. Ringing the backyard. Literally! Looking for people roughly early 30's and up. You'd be living with a late thirties, easy going, well-adjusted guy who is working. I'm pretty tidy so best fit would be if you are too. I keep pretty healthy, train 5-6 times a week, but I'm not a weirdo about it. This little, accomodating house is a short walk to both Lygon St and Sydney Rd. Being located in the heart of Brunswick means that, of course, there are loads of cafes situated around us, many parks to hang out in, and multiple supermarkets in the near vicinity (we're a ten minute walk from Barkly Square!). In terms of public transport, you'll be close to the number 1, 8, and 19 tram lines, and a five minute walk from Brunswick train station. The house itself is cosy, and sweet. We like to keep it as clean as possible, so we aren't looking for anyone that's particularly lazy (however, we are forgiving to anyone who has a disability be it physical or mental health related). We aren't looking for anybody that's hellbent on partying every night as the houses here are all very close together and we aren't looking to upset our neighbours and have to be up early for work Monday through Friday. Hi there, We're Katie and Mel, a couple who are photography/design freelancers in our late 20s-early 30s. We're looking for a chilled person, (or a chilled couple) to come and live in our Brunswick abode! We're pretty down-to-earth people. We're pretty busy with our little business, but love sharing the occasional meal and wine with housemates. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom air-conditioned flat, with a sunny courtyard right in the heart of Brunswick. We've just planted a heap of veggies, so hopefully we can keep them alive, and you can benefit from that in the not-too-distant future too! With Lygon st at one end of the street and Sydney rd at the other, it's a smorgasbord of various bars, cafes, shops and all your amenities within a stone throw away to choose from. There is also a Supa IGA on the same street. Trams at either end of the street are 1 and 8 (from Lygon st) which will take you directly into the City, or the 1, straight to the beach, and the 19 from Sydney rd (also direct into the city). We have two little fur buddies here: Chutney, a miniature sausage dog, and Amigo, a cat who shows his face when it suits him! The room is currently fully furnished (double bed, drawers, built in wardrobe), but can be cleared out if you'd prefer. The room is available from the 4th of Feb (reasonably flexible within those dates). Although we'd prefer someone long-term, we're not opposed to backpackers :) Rent is $800 per calendar month, ($860 for a couple), and this includes all bills and unlimited wireless internet. The house is in a great location – just off St Georges Road, very close to the number 11 tram and the South Morang train line (Croxton station), it is also only a 10 minute walk from High St and the 86 tram for late night travel. Plenty of street parking available if you have a car. Foodworks is not too far away with a reasonable selection of adult beverages for you to choose from. Few little cafe's and restaurants within stumbling distance – also well serviced by Ubereats! There is also an Emmaline Street Christmas Party every year that seems to be the highlight of the neighbourhood! The house is air-conditioned in the living room with decent sized kitchen, dishwasher and sturdy dining table. No smoking in the house (but we have a balcony) and regrettably – no pets. The room is furnished with queen size, comfy bed, a chest of draws, a desk and a TV (it can be unfurnished if you have your own things). It is separated from the main house by an inner courtyard so it very private. It overlooks Brunswick rooftops. Bathroom access is through the courtyard. You will be sharing with me and my partner - both mid to late 30s. The house is spacious enough for us to have privacy and has a pretty cool vibe. We both work full time and keep busy with exercise and other projects. We both clean regularly, are pretty independent but don't shy away from conversation. The bathroom it very comfortable, powder room with toilet is separate; there is a second toilet in the laundry. The kitchen is great and highly functional. We also live with Popovic, cat, and Bella, the dog. Both are mellow and have quirky personalities. We are looking for one person - mature and pet friendly. Someone who keeps busy with work or study.

The kitchen is the heart of the home in our 3 bedroom, single story terrace house, which also has a shaded rear courtyard (great in summer!) and small garden area. The kitchen/living space is fully equipped and has sweet retro orange benchtops ;) We are currently in need of an outdoor table though, so please feel free to bring one if you have one! Super convenient location – about 100m from Sydney Road and all its delights: cafes, op shops, pubs, restaurants of numerous cuisines, Brunswick Baths, Library, Bunnings etc. Also really close to Tram 19, Bus route 506 (bus stop across the road) and the Upfield train line. A 5 minute walk to Barkly Square where you’ll find Coles, Woolies, Kmart, JB HiFi etc. and 10 minute walk to Princes Park. Great location for seeking out live music, dining out, exercising outdoors or enjoying a pint in the nearest beer garden! The available bedroom is quite large, carpeted, with high ceilings and an east facing window. Away from the traffic noise as well as any noise from the kitchen/living as it is in between the other two bedrooms.
