Our home is a double-storey townhouse located on a quiet court between the Nicholson St and Lygon St tram lines in Brunswick East (and their amazing cafes). It's spacious, with two separate living areas and a good-sized kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a third separate toilet, and a small paved courtyard with a fig tree and passionfruit vine (which is sadly yet to bear fruit). The available room is large and light-filled. It comfortably fits a queen bed and desk, and has a good size built-in robe with mirror doors. Plus it opens out onto a small private balcony. The house only has one car parking spot, which is unfortunately already taken. But there is car parking on our street and nearby streets. We also have spots to park bikes (outdoors) for those who also like to do their commute by bike. Rent is $884 per month (approx $203 a week), plus bills (we buy Green power). Room is unfurnished, but the rest of the home is fully furnished.

One major thing to note is that the apartment is pretty small, so for that reason I'm not looking for a couple: it's already plenty cosy with only two people in it!

It's a large 3 bedroom house and is a short walk to the 1, 6, and 96 tram lines, and a 10-minute walk to Sydney Road. 1 min tram ride to Melbourne Uni & 15 min tram ride to RMIT. It has a large downstairs lounge room and lots of outdoor space, as well as a washer and dishwasher. There's a garage shared with roommates but it is often in use, however, there's street parking just in front of the house. There's also a sweet view of the city skyline from the balcony. All bills are split evenly between everyone. My housemates are renewing a 1-year lease on the 9th of Feb. In order to sign the lease, you will need to pay the bond, which is $1389, plus the first months rent ($2749 in total). You would be taking my bedroom which is heated by the houses central heating and has AC. It has two closets and plenty of space for free standing wardrobes and bedside tables etc, and your own modern bathroom.
