Looking to share my current property in Brunswick East. Move in date will be beginning or Mid October. My current housemates are moving out and I would like to retain the property. Looking for a long term housemate. Property details- Built 7 years ago. Very close to Lygon street, with tram access to city a few minutes walk. Public park metres from the front gate. Nearby mini-supermarket a few minutes walk and Barkly Square 5 minutes drive away. Very close to many restaurants and bars. I do have a cat, he is still less than a year old and extremely sociable. He will come and sit/sleep in your lap if you are sitting on the lounge for example. If you are allergic/do not like cats- this property will not be suitable. Property is a townhouse in a block of around 15, with friendly neighbours. Of the two bedrooms, the master room is currently free. It is quite a large room with triple wardrobes with drawers/shelves. The window faces into a small internal courtyard. Both bedrooms are downstairs, seperate by the bathroom. There is a front loading washer that you will be welcome to use. I do not have a dryer but there is a new laundromat at the end of the street. Outside the front door is also a communal courtyard area. Moving upstairs, there is a large lounge room shared with a dining area and a seperate kitchen. (all floorboards) When I took the photos- I was awaiting delivery of a new lounge- that will be in by the time you read this :) All electric appliances, plenty of fridge/freezer space. There are two decks at the property, a small balcony off the kitchen with a BBQ. Then a full sized rooftop deck. - Really nice on sunny days. Other features: Unlimited NBN (included in rent) Panel heater in bedroom (easily removed if you prefer the wall space) Reverse cycle air con in lounge room. The apartment is very new - just completed in 2016. I am the owner and you will be sharing the apartment with me. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and is fully furnished, including the bedroom. The bedroom comes with a double bed, a bedside table and built in wardrobe. The room has ceiling to floor windows and an amazing view of the city. The windows are double glazed which keeps out the noise from the main road. The bedroom gets plenty of sunlight during the day. You will also have your own bathroom to use. The washing machine is in the bathroom. If you need a dryer, there a laundrettes close by. The apartment has a communal rooftop on the 6th floor with hot tubs, BBQ and dining room (BBQ and dining room needs to be booked beforehand). There is also a communal gym with basic gym equipment, spa, 20 meter lap pool, dry sauna and steam room. The apartment is close to trams stops, shops and cafes. The 96 tram is 1 minute walk away and the 1 and 8 trams are about a 5 minute walk away. It takes about 15-20 minutes to the CBD by tram. I am using the allocated parking spot. If you have a car, there are plenty of on street parking in front and behind the apartment block. Rent is $250 per week, and this includes all bills - unlimited NBN wifi, electricity, water and hot water. I am happy to share the household items and utensils. Bond is 4 weeks rent. A new (well... under 10 years is newish!) 3rd floor apartment in awesome Brunswick East! Its a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment (so you'll basically have your own bathroom), kitchen, lounge, European laundry, balcony (with great views out to the Dandenongs). The apartment is fully furnished (apart from your room), so unfortunately there is no room to accommodate your speedboat, grand piano or couches. The apartment is also fully stocked with crockery, cookware, appliances etc.. The apartment is perfectly located on Lygon Street with excellent access to public transport, restaurants, cafes, bars, parks and well – everything we know and love about Brunswick. The room is a carpeted medium sized unfurnished bedroom (comfortably fits a double bed). It has a built in (mirrored) wardrobe, and great views! I live in a small, fully furnished apartment in Brunswick East, very close to Lygon street. There are some awesome cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby, and the tram is just across the road. It's also close to Barkley Square shopping centre. 15 minute tram ride from Melbourne University, and close to bike paths. The apartment is small but spacious. There is a small balcony as well, and it is a quiet neighborhood. There is one car space which comes with the apartment, which I am happy to share. Otherwise there is street parking, no permit required. It's all worked well with previous housemates! The room is approximately 4m by 3m, and includes a built in wardrobe. The doors of the wardrobe are mirrors. Room can easily fit a double bed, desk and bookshelf. I am a 24 year old female. I have been studying my Masters of psychotherapy in 2017, and will be working, taking a break, and generally having fun in 2018. I live fairly quietly, am a clean person, and like to keep the house tidy, although I'm not a 'clean freak' either. I'm fairly independent and like to keep to myself, but I am also up for a chat/having dinner together, etc. I'm not really a late night partier and I do value personal space, but I would enjoy living with someone I could hang out with, watch a movie with, and have coffee with :) I'm in and out fairly often, so you would have the house to yourself at times too! Hello! Sadly the Timaru pozzi is splitting up to move to greener pastures, so we are looking for 2 (or 3 ) fun and tidy people to join our home. Our house is located on Edward Street, Brunswick East, a couple of minutes walk from the Nicholson street tram and is perfect for getting into the city, as well as being near to Lygon st with its many restaurants, bars and cafes. We have 3 bedrooms, a living area, kitchen and outdoor area out back with an outdoor shed that has a new washing machine in it. Your room is reasonably large with a big window and built in wardrobes. The house is in a great spot but there are a couple of sizable cracks in the walls (we don't really mind), as seen in the photos, and some water damage in one corner of the living room - the landlords have promised to fix this within a month. Our original flatmate just got a job in Perth so we are looking to fill his spot ASAP, looking for someone to fill it until our lease expires in June 2018 Bills are not included in rent.

The 96 will take you to the Melbourne Museum in a couple of stops, and into Melbourne Uni or the CBD in just 15-20 minutes. Brunswick East is a really cool area, we are a short walk away from the vibrations of Lygon St and Sydney Road, and a short tram into the CBD. There are plenty of food options within 5 mins in any direction. There is on-street parking at the front for those who drive. You will be sharing the house with two others, a music lover and entrepreneur, Jamie and Megan from Vancouver. Jamie works in property and also loves to produce music. Sometimes, you can often find him out DJ'ing around Melbourne. The house will be a fun place to live, and you can count on a summer filled with music, gigs, too much wine and great vibes.
