We are a couple staying in the main house together with our very quiet, friendly greyhound. We are non-smokers, quiet living and peaceful. Most of the time we’ll just be doing our own thing, so it would be good if you have an independent personality and are happy to do your own thing also. We may have a few close friends over for a meal occasionally, but since the apartment is a separate dwelling, this does not encroach upon your own space. As we have our own separate entrance to the house, as well as our own backyard and living spaces. The apartment itself is peaceful and private, therefore conducive to relaxation or study. WHAT WE’RE HOPING FOR: We would like our new housemate to be a non-smoker. Apart from that we have no other restrictions on age, gender, lifestyle preferences. As mentioned before, a quiet-living and independent person would be an ideal fit. We’d also ideally like someone who would be able to stay on for 12 months or more.
I am looking to share my 4 bedroom spacious home. Its 25 years old (older style)in a secure and quiet court, Double room with built in wardrobe so plenty of space. The room is unfurnished however should you require a basic furnished room this can be arranged. You will pretty much have sole use of the main toilet and bathroom. (I have an ensuite).There is a second lounge/rumpus room and although it forms part of the open plan shared common area adjacent to the kitchen I very rarely use this lounge - so essentially it can be your own breakout/relax space. There is refrigerated cooling and gas ducted heater. We share a kitchen where you will have your own fridge and food cupboard. I basically occupy the front of the house which has a lounge, dining area, master bedroom (with an ensuite) and 4th bedroom (which I use as a study). Must be pet friendly. I have a 4 year old indoor cat. He pretty much stays up the front end of the house but he does have free range of the house and will jump up and join you on the couch. Hes not really a lap cat but will be quite happy snuggling in next to you.You will be able to close your door if you don't want him in your room The location is quite central to all the shopping areas all about the same distance away - Carrum Down Shopping Centre, Ballarto Road Shopping Centre and the Seaford Shops and Bunnings and Aldi are all just up the road. There are parks a short walk away and its close to the freeways and public transport is a 10min walk in either direction.. Smoking outside at the back. No smoking inside please. $170.00 per week is for your room, however rather than split the bills $200.00 a week will cover your room and reasonable use of electricity, water and gas. About the place, Ok it's located in a very friendly quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. It's close to everything including public transport. I have 2 friendly dogs that come with the package.There is also a gym machine to use in the lounge area (may get moved to garage) I am currently renovating the place, so it's only going to get better. Happy to set the room up (paint/flooring) to suit new tenant. Room has antenna outlet for T.V. And unlimited Netflix/Internet whilst on the property.
