Hello future flatmate, We have a room to rent in a great three bedroom unit in Crows Nest for one lucky individual. Our Apartment is in a great location, being roughly 5 minutes walk from Cammeray Shops, 10 minutes walk from Crows Nest shops (and the infamous Crows Nest Hotel) and only two minutes walk to the nearest bus stop that takes you directly to the CBD (15 minutes), Chatswood (20 minutes) or Manly (40 minutes). We are looking for a flatmate in their early to mid twenties, preferably a professional. Our flatmate must be looking to stay for the long term and not be afraid to be social, this includes smashing the occasional tinnie with the boys. About your future flatmates: Jeremy: Jeremy works at a medical assistance company, organising air ambulances into Australia. He has a very varied schedule and there is a good chance you will only see him on his days off. Widely referred to as "Dad bod" Jeremy's cooking prowess consists largely of microwaved meals and ravioli with bbq rib sauce. Trivia strengths include history, geography and ruining a good vibe as the voice of suspiciously sober reason. Jeremy also has a very bubbly girlfriend Tash who stays over one or two nights a week. She is great fun and will likely try and set you up with one of her friends if you are single/hound you for the latest goss. Nick: Nick recently moved down from Brisbane and works in Strata. Nick's friends are degenerates and a night out with them will typically end in calling sick into work on a Monday. There's a good chance it will also end with chips all over the living room carpet. Nick is in desperate need of a wingman, as despite being a 110kg powerlifter he is consistently referred to as a bit of a weenie, probably due to his distinct lack of game with the opposite sex. Trivia strengths include movies and telling you facts about Brisbane you didn't ask for. Being a social flatmate (guy or girl) is a must. We have very different schedules and do not regularly get to socialise together, but when we do, we expect our flatmate to be able to throw back a few beers and enjoy a night out. As we are stumbling distance to the Greens, Crows Nest Hotel, North Sydney Leagues Club and the Oaks there are no excuses not to! As long as you pay your bills on time we are unlikely to have any problems - we are very laid back. That being said we would like a clean and respectful flatmate who is housetrained and is willing to pitch in with their share of the housework when required. We basically just want a chilled out flatmate who can pay rent on time, who is up for the occasional night out and doesn't have a problem with Nick bringing back the odd bird (in some parralel universe) or Jeremy having his girlfriend over a couple of times a week. P.S (bring back whomever you seem fit, this is a no judgement household.) Our only house rules are to keep the place relatively clean, check with us regarding work schedules before organising a party and the same boyfriend/girlfriend/partner etc should not stay over more than 3 nights a week. Nick and I are big Seinfeld fans and we have a very large poster of George Costanza in his tighty whities posing for a photo from the episode "The Package/The Fatigues" over the couches in the living.
