We have one room available in our awesome share house. Our house is like a family, we love getting together for family dinners, board games, backyard fires and a few drinks. It is 5 minutes walk from Woolloongabba station, Coles, Jetts gym, Dan Murphys and some restaurants and bars. There are 8 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have one big living room, a veranda and a nice grassy backyard with a vegie garden. The kitchen is big with enough space for cooking and lots of fridge and cupboard space. This is a large Queenslander in East Brisbane which was previously a rectory. There are 5 bedrooms, a large, partly furnished living room, a spacious kitchen, a storage room, a laundry area with a front loader and a dryer, and 2 bathrooms. We're located about 3.5km from the CBD, with several bus stops within walking distance. Both Coorparoo train station and the Woollongabba bus station are an approximate 15 min walk away. We also share address with a church so that's a bonus if you're Anglican or just enjoy the novelty of living next to a church (they also do our gardening for us). We're close to some great restaurants and bars, we're just down the road from the Gabba, and there's a Coles/IGA/7 eleven nearby. We have one parking spot under the house. Otherwise you are welcome to utilise the church's parking every day except Sunday. There's also plenty of on-street parking available as well. The room measures approximately 4m x 4m. There is a queen size bed, a desk, and a wardrobe available depending on your needs. We pay our electricity bill quarterly. It is split 5 ways. It's typically $130 per person each quarter. Internet is $12 per person each month (we're considering getting a speed pack which will increase this to $18/month). Also the bond payment is split evenly between us and is 1/5 of the total rent, not 4 weeks of our individual rent. So the bond payment is $452. We're after somebody who is mature, considerate, courteous, reasonable, and tidy. Preferably somebody who has lived out of home before and understands how share houses work.
Hi guys and girls. Just got the keys to a fresh pad on Burlington St in East Brisbane and am after some peeps to help create a social, clean, respectful share house. Rooms are filling up pretty quick but there's 2 rooms left, 1 for 140 and a huge ass room that essentially has its own lounge area and mini kitchen all to itself for 220 (250 for a couple). All the rooms are furnished with beds.. (doubles and queens) wardrobes, desks and chairs along with the rest of the house being decked out for everything you could possibly need. I took most of the photos right after I got the keys when there was no furniture, but they're all fully furnished now The house has 2 toilets – both separate to the bathroom, a big backyard and heaps of off street parking. It has just been painted + has new carpet so is looking super fresh. There are 4 rooms upstairs and 1 giant room downstairs. The prices for the rooms are between $135 - $220. Couples welcome as the house could comfortably accommodate 6 people. No lease is required to be signed, obviously the longer the stay the better but short term is also cool with me. There are bus stops close by but best to Google transport options around Burlington street, East Brisbane to suss that out completely. We are in a great location, close to the Gabba and about 3km from the city with public transport just around the corner. Walking distance to some of the best cafes, parks in north Brisbane. The lord Stanley pub and 7 eleven also less than 200m from the house. There will be 1 housemate already living there, She is very easy going, clean and tidy.
