STUDENT OR INTERN ACCOMMODATION Hi, we are looking for a full time student or Intern to join our mixed share house in Kangaroo Point/East Brisbane. The house is about 25 minutes by bicycle to QUT Gardens Point using the Kangaroo Point cycle path, a 25 min walk to Riverside using the Story Bridge, the city cat ferry stop is about 400 meters away and provides a very nice way to arrive at uni. Bus stops are also very close by. This is a great place to live while you complete your studies or intern ship in Australia. You will be sharing the house with four other house mates from Germany, Denmark, Italy and Singapore. This is the best room in the house,it's very large has a double bed and there is a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers for clothing, a desk, chair, fan and desk lamp and all bed linen is provided. It has a TV and chair to relax in and you share a bathroom with one other person. The room has a lovely bay window and French doors provide access to a balcony. The rent includes internet, power and utilities; your only extra expenses will be to chip in to a communal fund for cleaning products and other disposables and of course your own food. A large fridge /freezer, one shelf each, a front loading washing machine and galley style kitchen takes care of the survival stuff. Amenities include table tennis, a BBQ and a large laundry with a front loading washing machine. It is very conveniently located, less than 1.5 kilometres from the city and Public Transport (bus and ferry), Groceries Shops, Cafes and a Take Aways are all a very short stroll away with Mowbray Park at your back door. The aim is to provide a quality and supportive environment for you to live in while you undertake your studies or internship in Australia. About You: Only clean and tidy female students or interns need apply; no backpackers or workers please. No one will be around to pick up after you and cleaning in the common areas is a shared responsibility. If you like it messy, don't care and are too busy to clean up after yourself, then please look elsewhere as this place is not for you and you will be asked to leave. A bit of socialising is great, but no party animals or volume freaks, the neighbours are close and your house mates are closer, so respect for their privacy and lifestyle is required. You can also fireworks for things like Ekka and Riverfire from the Balcony. Everyone in the building are super nice and accomodating. Don't actually have a date for when my roommate will be moving out so am flexible on when you would like to move in. *i am currently in Sydney however will add photos when I return
