You would be sharing the house with a French girl who just just landed in Australia who is doing her internship, and a Columbian guy who is here studying English + any other legends who decide to move in. Back to the house… The lounge room is huge, kitchen is neat and clean and while there is only 1 bathroom, the toilet is separate to it making accommodating 5+ people easy. There is a nice back yard to hang out in to catch some sunrays, while under the house there is room to park a car and perhaps even set up a pool table or something along those lines… The house is located on Latrobe Street in East Brisbane. It is within walking distance to an IGA, and is 300m down the road from the cheapest/best sushi this side of town… I think anyways :p There are 4 bus stops with a 5 min walk of the front door as well.. Looking for people who are clean, respectful and have their shit together basically. 4 weeks rent for bond is a must. If you don’t have it then perhaps I can let you pay it to me over a few weeks, however I would have to make that call after I’ve met you. No min stay, obviously the longer the better. 2 weeks notice is all I ask if you are to move out. "It's like living in Pinterest " - a very excited visitor said this morning :) Come live in a beautifully renovated award-winning heritage listed estate, one of Brisbane's first built homes (but don't be fooled, we have all the modern trappings). This is an oasis - a peaceful inner city location, steps from city centre amongst a lovely eclectic mix of professionals and students - mostly female but a few males do live here. Some of us work full time, and some of us are studying our Bachelors, Masters or PhD - a mix of everything! Although it's a large house, it's never chaotic or crowded as it's spread out in 4 wings and designed very tastefully for function and aesthetics. Not your typical share house so even though you share bathrooms, it's very nice and private. Everyone is quite independent, and does there own thing but always happy to catch up socially over a cup of tea or glass of wine. There are spacious areas to spread out and relax in the gardens, courtyard, lounge room, dining room, front lawns with gorgeous city views, a stand alone pavilion on the front lawn with comfy couches, tables and TV, 3 kitchens, 20 bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms through the entire house. You can access WIFI internet everywhere on the property which is free and included in your rent. This is an excellent place to live, to meet like minded people, network and socialise or just relax. We have a bus stop right at the front gate to take you into the City or Southbank and there is a ferry stop at Mowbray Park just across the road. We are a few minutes walk to IGA grocery store, Spoon cafe, Light coffee shop, best sushi in town is Sushi Kutobuki, fish & chips, noodles, Thai, even Mister Fitz ice cream and Doughnut Time (dangerous). Perhaps you've seen our famous Happy Tree that lights up every Friday and Saturday night? It's truly magical. Hey guys, a year ago I was lucky enough to live with those two amazing guys, Jason & Dave for 9 month. I can easily say that it has been a great experience, from day one. The house is in a really nice area to live in, close to the city center (25 minutes walk) and it is really well kept. The room has everything you need and is actually really spacious, so is the house. The best part however is the awesome porch, were we spent the most of our time. But the important part: Jason and Dave. They have the biggest hearts and during my stay they became my best friends, from day one. Whenever you have a problem they are as helpful as can be. Although we did a lot together, whenever I needed private time to study or just be for myself they respected it. If you are just a little bit crazy, and not only looking for a “necessity flat” but a flat where you interact, are friends, this is the right one for you. Unofficial (can add if you want). Hey guys: Firstly: If you have a stick up your ass you can stop reading here. If you only want to have a room you can stay in but are not interested in also spending time with the housemates, please stop reading as well. However, if you want to live with the most genuine, biggest-hearted people you will ever meet in your life, you are in the right place. I can tell you a lot of things on how beautiful the house is, how spacious the room is and how awesome the location is (25 mins walk to the city center). It all holds true, I have absolutely no complaints. What makes this house the jackpot though, is the roommates. From day one Jason & Dave became my family, and I would not want to miss that for the world. Yes, there will be times where you think “what the fuck guys”, yes they smoke too much (outside only - you'll have an amazing porch), yes they drink too much beer (and want you to join – but you do not need to), but they also be there for you when you need them, you’ll have the greatest evenings, (excellent food – both of them cook amazing) and especially if you are new to the area they’ll make sure you adjust in no time. I have had quite a lot of shared apartments before, and a lot of good experience but this one is by far the best experience. Off the radar: Love you guys
