Hello future housemate :) We just moved to this house and we absolutly love this place. We are still in the process to decorate, but the house has already everything you need to live there. The house has three rooms, so you will be sharing with two people more. The room is $165 with everything included. In the case of a couple would be $240. Is a really luminous house which make us feel so good in here. We have got a big backyard and plenty of parking in case that you have car. The room that we are renting is a huge room, it suits a king bed, desk, even a coach if you like it! Is a really spacious and luminous room. We have a few furniture, but it can be with or without furniture, is up to you! The location is great. Is a quiet steet, very close to public transport. It is a well connected place. You are just 15 minuts by bus to the city. Gym's, cafes so close to the place.

"It's like living in Pinterest " - a very excited visitor said this morning :) Come live in a beautifully renovated award-winning heritage listed estate, one of Brisbane's first built homes (but don't be fooled, we have all the modern trappings). This is an oasis - a peaceful inner city location, steps from city centre amongst a lovely eclectic mix of professionals and students - mostly female but a few males do live here. Some of us work full time, and some of us are studying our Bachelors, Masters or PhD - a mix of everything! Although it's a large house, it's never chaotic or crowded as it's spread out in 4 wings and designed very tastefully for function and aesthetics. Everyone is quite independent, and does there own thing but always happy to catch up socially over a cup of tea or glass of wine. The flatmates are so nice and easy to communicate with. Everyone respects each other and able to share the bathroom, living room, kitchen and pool area with no issues whatsoever. House is managed directly by the lovely owner and her assistant (that's me! :) The rent includes all bills (electricity, water, gardening) which makes it so easy. There is on-site coin-operated laundry so it's very convenient. It's a few minutes walk to the post office, bottle-o, chemist, IGA grocery store and super central to get to CBD, Fortitude Valley or South Brisbane/South Bank. The room has a king size bed in it! + linen, wardrobes, desks and chairs. The rest of the house is also completly decked out with everything you need to move in and get busy living straight away. Room prices are $155 $170 ALL BILLS INC , – those being power, water, gas and internet. Speaking of internet unlimited cable internet will be connected to the house so speed or downloads will never be an issue. Looking for a room mate who knows how to be clean and are already in a habit of washing up their dishes straight away, and just keeping a house tidy in general. Hey! We have a great room for rent in Waterford Place located in East Brisbane. So close to the Ferry Terminal (Mowbray Park) and a stones throw away from Shafston Hotel, IGA, etc... on Lytton Road (right across the street). We have three parks close by, with Kangaroo Point being the furthest. Great little pool outside and a great flat inside. Unlimited fast ADSL2+ Internet for 20$ a month and free Netflix on a 55" TV in the lounge with awesome home threatre speakers. There is also a vinyl/record player and a home stereo. Water is included, but electricity is not. Usually estimated at 20-30$ a month. In the kitchen, we have a dish washer, microwave, Nutribullet, a pressure/slow cooker, toaster, stove, oven, kettle, rice cooker, fridge... In the bathroom resides a washing machine, dryer, with a cordless vacuum cleaner in the lounge...basically all is shared! We all keep the apartment clean and pick up slack when necessary - emptying the trash, ensuring the dishwasher is emptied, and that the lounge is vacuumed :) **Note: I am currently the sole tenant on the lease therefore everyone else is considered an "Approved Occupant". No lease agreements need to be signed but a standard Tenancy Application Form needs to be filled out which goes to the real-estate for book-keeping purposes.
