Hi, my name is Sarah and I am looking for someone to share my house with me. (More photos to come). This is a large house: there are two bedrooms plus a third small room which I used for storing things but also has the room for a blow up mattress for guests. The room available is furnished with a new queen bed and bedside tables however if you have your own furniture we can make arrangements. There are no built-ins in that room however I have shelves in the spare room - and if you bought a clothes rack that whole room can be used as a walk in wardrobe (I have a full length mirror in there too). It is an older style house however the bathroom and kitchen have been newly renovated and are modern; the shower is huge and the loungeroom is very large with timber floorboards. The house is decorated nicely and furnished with two large sofas, a small sofa, bookshelves, fridge, washing machine, lamps, plants, ottomans etc. I have everything you’d need except a microwave which is on my list of things to buy! The backyard is very large with nice views from the large upstairs balcony. Downstairs is a laundry, second toilet and a lot of space under the house. There is a carport I use but plenty of off street parking space. I live a few houses up from McDonalds, a Thai restaurant, salon, newsagents, chemist, butcher, bakery and a bus stop. Figtree Grove is only across the road... the location is fantastic and very convenient. The neighbours are friendly and quiet. I live with my dog Bronson who is a big dog but extremely friendly and affectionate, so you would need to be a dog person who doesn’t mind his cuddles and are happy to share living with him. I don’t go away often but when I occasionally do I always appreciate if someone is happy to look after him while I’m away. I am very friendly and easygoing and always laughing and happy. I rarely have friends over and I enjoy a chat and a wine but am a quiet roommate and am tidy. I am very happy, respectful, polite and laid back but due to some bad flatmate experiences I would be strict on the following: Rent is due every Tuesday and rent being paid on time every Tuesday is a must. You don’t need to be on the lease but I do require two weeks rent in advance as a bond to be paid before moving in. I also need at least two weeks notice if you needed to move out. I’m not a neat freak but am quite tidy and only want to live with tidy people, please don’t apply if you would be messy, late on rent, loud or having people over a lot. Unfortunately these are deal breakers for me. I am very respectful of others privacy and always try hard to be a considerate room mate and only want someone with the same values as me. I also need someone who ideally is staying for at least 6-12 months or longer, no short term stays. I don’t have the internet on but it’s available and you’re welcome to. Electricity is on top of rent which we would go halves, and we would go halves in paying for the lawn mowing. I’m happy to work out payment plans with any bills but they must be paid in halves with me. I’m not allowed any more dogs here and can’t have cats, so I can’t accept dogs or cats at all. We have travelled extensively and know what we do and don't like about accommodation we have previously stayed in.
