We have a room available in Hamilton South for 185pw (plus bills which we split equally). It's a three-bedroom house which has been fully renovated with gas cooking and dishwasher. The room that's available is big - 4.3 x 3.8, with a walk-in wardrobe and you'd only be sharing the main bathroom with one other. We're in a great location close to town and beaches, and although the house is situated on a main road we have access to a side street through a back entry so parking is never an issue.
The house is located between Market Town and the Junction Fair, making Coles, Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets easy to walk to. About a 5 minute walk to Darby Street and 10 minutes to Bar Beach. Parkway Avenue has lots of on street parking available off peak and there is enough room for two cars in the driveway when parking is hard. The bedroom is the biggest in the house, has high ceilings and good light. The house is furnished but the bedroom is not. There is room for some furniture in the shared spaces. Both ladies have their own fridge, and there is room in one of them for your food. The house has 1 main bathroom (with a bath) and a second, separate toilet. The kitchen, living and dining is open plan, with access onto the rear verandah and yard. Bills: wifi is $24 each per month, elec/gas/water is approx $40-50 each, per bill. The house is located a short walk from Beaumont st, Hamilton station, cafes, pubs etc. The room is a decent size that can easily fit a queen bed and chest of drawers. It has a small wardrobe also. We are 2 females in our mid twenties who both work full time and enjoy quieter nights through the week but also like to be social and have a few drinks on the weekend! Cleaning is shared and done regularly I have an awesome little dog (dachshund), so it would be preferred if you liked animals :-) He spends his time inside and outside of the house. He's very loveable and enjoys cuddles. The yard isn't big enough to take on any other animals, sorry! Rent is $200/week. Wifi is an extra $20/month and all other bills are split.
