The apartment is in Townsville's best location, it's located just one block back from The Strand, which is amazing because you get the cool ocean breeze. It's less than a block from the restaurants along Gregory Street. It's in walking distance to Coles, the Strand, plenty of great restaurants and Castle Hill. I’ve just built a place in the new Haven estate which will be ready to move in at the end of May. It’s only 3 minutes to the Strand and 5 minutes to the CBD. Castletown shopping centre is only about 3 minutes away as well and in a great location close to all the main roads. Its only a small two bedroom house so unfortunately I can’t accommodate for a couple. It’s obviously brand new so everything will be clean and shiny. All rooms are fitted with split system air conditioners and is nice and bright with great lighting and a nice view of Castle Hill. You’ll get your own bathroom which you’ll be expected to clean and maintain as well as helping keep the whole house generally clean and tidy. I’m not a stickler for extreme cleanliness but I don’t want to live in a dump either. I’ll have internet all set up and ready to go, provided NBN don’t screw around with the connection for too long and the bills will be split between the two of us. Hopefully you’re someone who can help make this house homely and be a great housemate and friend.
