I am sub-letting my room at our home in Ivanhoe East for about two months while I am on holiday. Its in a quiet and peaceful area with street parking out the front, local shops, cafes, supermarket and public transport nearby. 5 minutes to Eaglemont station, 10 minutes to Ivanhoe and buses down the road. . The house has a grassy backyard, ducted heating in the rooms, a bathtub in the shared bathroom, Unlimited wi-fi, and some storage space if needed in the garage. We use a cleaning roster with a few chores that rotate weekly which you would be required to take part in, that keeps the space neat.

Close to Yarra river walks and bike trails, parks, and Ivanhoe Boulevard. Also, a popular ice-cream store and café just a couple of minutes’ walk away! It’s a non-smoking, no pet deal (unfortunately, because I am an animal lover, I do keep fish though) but don’t worry, there is wildlife in the surrounds and in the parks. What else? There is OSP (1 spot) opposite the front door, unlimited parking on the street. Bills are shared and come to about $30/week each including water, electricity, gas and internet.
A great place to live! 25 MIN drive to the centre of Melbourne city. Walking distance to a number of train stations, buses etc. Plenty of bush walks, mountain bike tracks. A country feel close to the city :) Restaurants, bars, super markets and shops within walking distance. Plenty of off street parking for yourself and friends who come to visit. Amazing neighbourhood with a great bunch of neighbours who are now friends :) Can not fault my little area :) Love it!
Beautiful four bedroom home right near Heidelberg train station with a Woolworths across the road. There are two large bedrooms upstairs with a shared ensuite or the biggest bedroom downstairs with own bathroom and separate toilet). Each room has a built in wardrobe. Large open plan kitchen with dishwasher, dining area and two living rooms! There's also a separate studio in the backyard with a projector screen if you have a projector! We have only just moved into this house, but it is a really cool little suburban home. It has a big backyard, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedroom is medium sized, could fit a queen bed with side tables and a desk. It has massive built in robes. You will have access to mostly your own bathroom, it is closest to the lounge room so friends and family would probably use it too. It has a big bath and separate shower and toilet. There is also ducted heating! We have all moved from a house together from Alphington, so we have heaps of furniture for the lounge, kitchen and dining area. But if you have a beloved couch or table we can definitely make some room. There is a big sunroom just off the kitchen that we might turn into a study, with a desk and some couches. This room looks over the backyard. We have an outdoor setting with an umbrella that often sees a wine or two after work on Friday's. We are right down the road from the Ivanhoe Leisure Centre, which has a pool and gym and we're about a 10 minute walk to the train station!

Hi, I'm in my mid-30s and work in community services and am looking for a female housemate to share my townhouse in Ivanhoe (right on the border of Fairfield). The house has lots of natural light and is surrounded by gum trees. The available bedroom is medium-sized, light-filled with in-built double wardrobes. The room is unfurnished at the moment but basic furnishings can be provided if required (ie. double bed, bedside drawers, etc). You would have your own bathroom with shower and large jacuzzi (separate shared toilet). The kitchen is open plan with dining area which opens on to a sunny courtyard. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine & clothes dryer. There is central heating throughout, wifi internet (unlimited), a central vacuum system and security alarm fitted. There is a lovely private courtyard (with outdoor setting) that gets lots of morning and early afternoon sun. The garden is a bit overgrown with weeds at the moment but my hope is to plant a little herb garden/ vegie patch come spring. The Darebin parklands, a beautiful expanse of bushland with ponds, waterways and walking & bike paths are a five minute stroll away. It is a 2min walk to the nearest bus stop and a 10min walk to local shopping strip (or 1 min drive). There is also a local plaza with supermarket, grocer, butcher and chemist within 1km. This apartment is located a short walk away to the main strip of shops in Ivanhoe with a range of cafes you can choose from, where you will be spoilt for choice! The train station is close by also walking distance. Ivanhoe is a lovely, safe suburb to live in. Also close to the Ivanhoe aquatic centre/ gym and Darebin parklands where I like to go for a jog! I am not a party animal these days (the party has died down!) so you won't have to worry about late night loud visitors! Now and then I will head out for a drink with friends here and there but this will not impact you in any way :) I am respectful and considerate of my flatmates and hope that we can both feel comfortable and happy in our home at all times.

Great little property close to the city with easy access to public transport. Close walk (500m) to the shops of Kew East village and The Harp hotel for weekend antics. Plenty of access to nearby walking trails and parks for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. Quiet and safe little street, located just off High St you have easy access, 300m walk, to the Route 48 tram into the city via Richmond (Bridge rd). The House- Hardwood floors throughout and plenty of natural light from multiple skylights. Relatively new kitchen with all the basic working amenities you'd expect. Split system AC/Heater in the living room which does a good job and can work for most of the house if properly managed. Standard bathroom with good shower pressure. Very small back yard with a large veggie garden should you be interested in having a crack at that. Small external garage used for storage (too small to really fit a car). On-street parking is available and we do have a permit available to park in restricted hours spaces if need be. The current housemate leaving owns most of the furnishing in the house, he is willing to sell some stuff so if you're interested in that let us know. That means if you have TVs, Couches and tables etc. you want to bring along you are more than welcome otherwise we can just sort that out as we go.
