My partner and I are 21 y/o university students who have recently moved out and seeking house mates! Our house is located on a very quiet and safe street in the suburb of Kensington. A short 10 minute drive to the city and a 2 minute drive to Curtin University. It is an old, vintage home, however in good condition and rooms are very spacious. We also back on to a large oval/park, useful for exercise. Water expenses are covered as well as a fully equiped kitchen & laundry with all utensils/machines available for use. Many great cafes surrounding the house, a lot walking distance :) We do own a loving cat (Jasper), however he mainly lives up stairs and out of the way - guaranteed he will not bother you! Hello! My housemate and I have a room available in our townhouse in Kensington. It is in a very secure, quiet complex, close to (but not on) Canning Highway. We have easy access to the city and the freeway. The room has a small built-in robe and ducted air-conditioning. The house is light, bright and open plan downstairs, with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. There is a separate WC downstairs. Preferably you would have your own bedroom furnishings, however the bedroom could be furnished if you need as our previous housemate has left a queen bed and desk, which we are otherwise selling. You will be sharing the rather large bathroom with a tidy girl. It has a both a shower and bath! The rest of the house is fully furnished and has a laundry, gas cooking, lockable outdoor storage room, and a covered patio area in the back yard that's perfect for a BBQ. On-street parking is available if you have a car, as we are currently occupying the garage. Sorry to say no pets are allowed as per the strata regulations. :( However, our lovely neighbour has a cute puppy that loves pats, and a couple of chilled cats may be spotted in complex from time to time (+/- pats). Rent is $140 per week plus bills and we are connected to NBN. We use Stan but may be compelled to procure Netflix. *Bonus* we don't have to pay for water consumption.. it's a strata related reason, but it works for us. :) *our furnishings differ slightly from those pictured, as they are care of the real estate company. The layout is essentially the same though. :)

My housemates are moving to Sydney, leaving me with a three-bedroom apartment all to myself, hence I am looking for a housemate or housemates! The situation is that the lease runs to mid-November, and at this stage I am not sure I will be renewing, so the ideal is someone who is comfortable with this probably only being a 3-month arrangement or thereabouts. Of course, you could take over the lease if/when I vacate and find a new roommate, or have the place to yourself thereafter. My vacating housemates have taken most of the furniture so I am happy for people to bring their own stuff and put their touch on the place, I do have a really nice IKEA sofa and some other essential items. Fridge, washing machine and drier are included. The property manager reserves the rights to check applicants, but I have found them to be very easy to deal with and quick in processing this; my housemates have lived here for 5 years and I have cumulatively spent 2 years here in that time so we have a really good relationship with the manager.
